This is like a Preach/Asmon situation. Some people may be mad but once higher ups see his worth he will be in interviews and invited to everything under the sun. It is not a secret that they play favorites. But for creators the only thing that matters is what the PR/\Marketing people deem as engagement/metrics. Seen it enough in my 16+ years.

IMO a part of this may just be his behavior in general Example, last year at blizzon he had a meet and greet. Let's say started at 300. At 300, he was streaming IN HIS HOTEL ROOM NOT AT THE MEET AND GREET (I think he just woke up, don't 100% remember) 0 urgency to get down as shown on the stream. The blizzard event coordinator at the station correctly is upset and realizes how unprofessional the situation is, because anyone with a phone can just see yep he's not here now and he doesn't care how late he is. Never liked the streamer culture, feels so weird putting these people on a pedestal for people that just play a video game
