They’re young, but not inexperienced. @dmilano224 has been around a winning program and great coaching his whole life, his dad (@LeeMilano1) is one of the most decorated coaches in @IHSBCA1 history, and pitching coach @HankSchau played for Dom’s uncle at Maine South HS, and then Mike Davenport at @mcpackbaseball! He also was an assistant for a great baseball mind in @dom_a_savino prior to joining us at Harper. They also have longtime scout Marty Miller around. Pair the above with scholarship money, and @ncaa D1 new roster limits … recipe for success … and these dudes deserve it! A+ humans.

How I’d get good FAST as a baseball player: First get in the gym and commit. 6 days a week: upper / lower / arms, repeat. 1 full rest day. Do this for 6 straight months minimum. Build strength, durability, and discipline. Second the baseball work has to be intentional. Hit 5–6x/week with a plan. Not just swinging… purposeful reps. Work with a coach who gives you structure, routine, and adjustments. Then put in the REAL work on your own. Extra swings. Extra reps. Extra time. This part matters: You are NOT going to develop at practice alone. High school, travel, even college practice isn’t enough. The jump happens in the hours nobody sees. Third fuel your body like an athlete. Eat enough protein to recover and build strength. Hydrate consistently. Add electrolytes. Recovery = performance. If your body breaks down, so does your progress. Fourth train your mind daily. Read 1 chapter a day: •Heads Up Baseball 2.0 •The Alchemist •The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success •The Four Agreements •It’s All in Your Head You need mental toughness to handle failure, pressure, and long stretches with no visible results. That’s part of it. Now tie it all together: Training + reps + nutrition + mindset. Do ALL of it consistently. Then do it for 3–5 years. No shortcuts. No skipping steps. Keep your head down. Message to Matt Quintanar, the player who slid into Aidan Meola & Texas Tech baseball (Texas Tech Baseball) as a program. Let me preface this post with some evidence of the "respect" I have had for the Texas Tech baseball program. That program has always had a "West Texas" wild & craziness/EDGE, that, TBH, I've been jealous of at times. Don't believe those words, see for yourself where at least this 1 person is coming from. I've had the opportunity to interview multiple former Red Raiders who are still playing/pitching professional baseball. Clayton Beeter Ryan Sublette Also, Kyle Robinson is still one of my favorite pitchers I've EVER watched pitch at O'Brate, and I've communicated with him, even since he's been a pro, when he was playing in Tulsa last June with Midland at the AA level. And, Matt Gardner, the former Texas Tech pitching coach, pitched at OSU, and Geoff Haxton, your PxP, grew up in Stillwater, and we are personal friends. So, I respect Tech and enjoy the rivalry. NOW, let's get into the "Nuts & Bolts." There's a difference between playing with an edge and being "dirty". There's a right way to play, and hard slides are a part of it, but that slide was insanely inappropriate, and a VERY bad look all around for an otherwise VERY good player. I honestly didn't have an issue with the chirping, because that, in my view, went two-sided, but the slide was "Busch League". And if you do that in pro ball, completely unprovoked, at least by the player you slid into, you'll only do it once. I'm not telling you anything you don't know because your brother was a pro baseball player, so I'm not reinventing the wheel with that comment. And, YOU played at Blinn, and I KNOW they didn't teach you that, and YOU will, almost assuredly, be a Pro after your time at Tech. I'm about 100% confident in that! That is, unless you don't get THAT act cleaned up. And, maybe the most disappointing part of the whole thing is that the player you slid into is an ELITE human being who has fought through MORE injuries than any College baseball player possibly EVER. And then, you have the piece of it where you actually cost your team, one of the best hitting teams in America, the chance to keep playing and come back to win the game. And, finally, as ANGRY as that play left OSU fans, YOUR OWN teammates, fans & coaches, should have come away from that infinite times more angry than any of us. That's because WE WON THE GAME, and YOU didn't. And, I'll promise you, you WEREN'T going to whip Aidan Meola & Hudson Barrett's ass, hate to break that news to you. And, to read your lips as you walked off the field, yes, that was BS, BS on YOUR part! Hope that sinks in! #gopokes #okstate

Sometimes, a coach loses a game, much less a regional final, and they're ready to hit the showers, hit the road, and not talk much. It was refreshing to see Louisiana's Head Coach Matt Deggs, who'd just lost 19-5 to Mississippi State, after playing in mid 90s temps earlier in the afternoon just to get the opportunity, willing to talk about the game, his team, and even his expectations for next year. If you're fans of Mississippi State and its Head Coach Brian O' Connor, he will remind you of the same candor, plain-spoken-but-well-spoken type of coach who has both affection for his players but expectations of what he asks and demands of them. This is a coach whose team survived multiple elimination games at the Sun Belt tournament, played at all hours and even multiple locations last week, winding up in the championship game. And when offered a chance to deflect the lopsided score with the drain his team might have faced having only a short while after gutting out a win over 2-seed Cincinnati 8-6, he said his team wasn't tired, though. They just ran out of pitching. And, his analogy that "they were going to have to kill us, and they did" was a tip of the cap to his opponent, whom he deemed worthy of a long run in Omaha. Anyway, let's let Coach Deggs say that, and so much more, in his own words. Write it down now, they look like a team to watch in the Sun Belt for 2027. LHP Jonathan Santucci (Duke Baseball) could be one of the first college pitchers off the board this July. Although it was cut short, he had a strong Sophomore season with a 4.30 ERA and 50 strikeouts in just 29.1 IP. Was on track to earn a Team USA invitation for the second time in as many years. The 6’2” southpaw attacks from a high-3/4 slot with a clean arm stroke. Easy, repeatable delivery with present arm speed. FB sits in the 92-95 (t96) mph range with tons of carry. At its best, and generates the most swing and miss, when located in the top-half of the zone. Grades out as a 60. Sharp, low-80s SL (51% miss rate in ‘23) is his go-to out pitch with plenty of teeth. Tight, two-plane break. Vertical depth at times against RHH, more sweeping action against LHH. Comfortably a plus pitch. High-80s CH (59% miss rate in ‘23) also profiles as a potential plus offering with late drop and tumbling action. Pitches with a chip on his shoulder and is a big time competitor. Chance to be a first round pick.

RHP Matt Scott (Stanford Baseball) is one of the premier college arms in this year's Draft. After a solid Freshman season that was split between the bullpen and the rotation, Scott this year anchored the Stanford rotation and collected a career-high 103 strikeouts against 36 walks across 80 innings. Earned a Team USA invite for the second straight summer. Scott has an XL, workhorse frame at 6-foot-7 and 247-pounds with plenty of strength and physicality throughout. Quiet, "checkpoint-like" delivery. Small side step towards 1B side, gathers himself and breaks into the rest of his operation. Attacks from a high-three quarter slot. Low effort, does a nice job of staying connected and in-sync for someone of his stature. FB sits in the 93-96 range, but will routinely touch 97/98. Tons of carry through the zone, averaged 22.5" of IVB last year. At its best when located in the top-1/2 of the zone, which is also where it generates most of its whiffs. Just needs to stay out of the middle. Threw it 62% of the time and generated a pretty impressive miss rate of 26%, though I think it can become even more effective if he's able to hone in on his command of it. 55 pitch right now, eventual 60 if some of the low hanging fruit is cleaned up. Supplements his FB with a mid-to-upper-80s gyro SL. I actually think Scott's feel for the SL is on par, if not better, than his feel for the heater. Effective against both right and lefthanded hitters. True, hard gyro look against LHH. Will flash more two-plane tilt against RHH with some sharpness to it. Another 55 pitch that last year had a 40% miss rate. Scott needs to up the usage on his split-change. Threw it just 6% of the time last year and I think it's his best secondary pitch. Legit weapon against LHH. Averaged nearly 12 MPH off his FB and he does an excellent job of killing spin on it; averaged 866 RPMs last season. Essentially falls off a table as it approaches the plate. Serious tumbling life with a bit of arm side fade. 48% miss across a limited sample in '24, I'd give it a 60. Command and control are both average, if not a tick above. Little-to-no reliever risk. Really like the body and stuff. This college senior has an insane transformation🤯⁠ ⁠ Craig Stem breaks down how he did it ⬇️⁠ ⁠ The mechanical breakdown showed a delivery full of compensations that were killing his velocity. Poor first move out of leg lift with almost no drift. Back knee dumping toward third base. Front leg swinging open way too early. Throwing arm getting stuck behind him in a "power T" position. ⁠Landing with his front foot wide open. Upper half having to overcomperate just to get back on line.⁠ ⁠ The fixes started simple during his spring season. Pendulum drill to relax the arm, getting off his quad, more linear direction to home plate. He topped 91 for a new PR in April.⁠ ⁠ May-June: Introduced elbow-driven arm action. Ethan had a hand-driven philosophy that created a long, inefficient path. Cueing elbow flip kept the arm short and captured momentum better.⁠ ⁠ Craig discovered that Ethan avoided external rotation. RHP Anthony Eyanson (LSU Baseball) is another college arm worth keeping close tabs on this season. After collecting 34 strikeouts across 29 IP as a Freshman, Eyanson last year pitched his way into a full-time starting role and worked a 3.07 ERA with 85 Ks to 24 BB in 82 IP. Last summer on the Cape, Eyanson allowed 2 ER and struck out 6 in as many innings before departing for Team USA. Eyanson has a prototypical pitcher's frame at 6'2" and 195-lbs with some present physicality in his lower-half. He has a simple and under control delivery, and attacks from a three-quarters arm slot. Whippy arm stroke, average arm speed. Eyanson does a nice job of consistently repeating his delivery. Will vary his tempo. Mechanically sound. Eyanson's FB sits in the low-90s, but was up to 97 this summer. Not a real bat-misser right now, but it has riding life in the top-half of the zone and will also flash some run/sink to the arm side at times. Consistently stays off the barrel of opposing hitters with it thanks to his advanced command of the offering. He supplements his FB with two distinct breaking balls. The first of which is a mid-to-upper-70s CB. Eyanson can both land it for strikes and get whiffs out of the zone with it. Will at times flash a big shape with true 12-to-6 action and some teeth. Raises his arm slot slightly when delivering it to get more on top of the baseball. Regularly flashes above-average. For me, Eyanson's best weapon is his low-to-mid-80s SL. 5 Years in Crypto & 4 Years in Content Creation, Here’s How I’ve Grown In 2019, I was just a clueless college kid trying to change the AR/VR industry. I skipped college placements and grinded hackathons to find support for my idea. (Clip from those college days below!) Why AR/VR? After joining engineering college, one thing became clear: India is a rat race, best case scenario: life will force you into a stable growth trajectory, if you want asymmetrical growth, think outside the box. Pursue areas where there is no crowd maybe you’ll fail, or maybe you’ll change an industry. In 2020, we hit the jackpot. With Covid there was No more college to waste our time, we grew our startup, built a prototype, and sharpened our skills by freelancing AR/VR projects. By the end of 2020, we were so skilled that companies across India were flying us out to help with their projects. We were earning ₹2L/month each in our final semester of college. Our startup, Hovar, had 8 employees. Every single one went on to land 20+ LPA jobs after college. Most were just in their 2nd year when we hired them. In 2020, we got paid in Crypto for the first time. That’s when my crypto journey began, passive at first, since the startup kept me busy. In 2021, I had to move to Bangalore for a compulsory college internship. Hovar was paying me ₹2L/month for just 3 hours of work daily, but I saw no future in AR/VR. Apple’s headset was delayed, and interest in the industry was dying. It was time to say goodbye to the comfy ₹2L/month and find a new industry. Coincidentally, the crypto bull market had just begun. I searched YouTube and realized there was hardly any reliable, to the point source of up to date crypto education. That was the gap I needed. I started winding down Hovar and focused on content creation, while still working 9–6 at the office and grinding on personal projects till 2 AM every day. In April 2021, the second wave of COVID hit. I got lucky Youtube took off. Crypto was looking like a legit career. Hovar was gone, but now I had a full time job in Bangalore and a growing youtube channel. By October 2021, I took another leap. I quit my job to focus fully on content with daily lives, this was with less than 45K subs. Another BIG RISK! My only backup was 6 months of emergency fund. After November 2021, the crypto markets crashed. Money dried up, trading became impossible, and I had to take big losses just to save my portfolio. That phase taught me a lot about risk management and how it is easy to make profits in crypto but how hard it is to keep those profits. 2022 was a nightmare. Nobody was watching my videos. Crypto markets were a dumpster fire. I decided to double down, went deep into the space, made a plan to rebuild my portfolio, and invested everything I had. In 2023, the markets started to recover. My portfolio turned green. 2022, Bear markets had taught me lessons that many 2024 batch students are only learning now. I was consistently making profits with a locked in trade setup system (still use it today). My channel crossed 100K subs. It was time for the next step. I never got comfortable neither with Hovar, nor with my job, nor as a content creator. Building distribution had one goal: Build your own product. I began searching for what to build. Tried smaller services for crypto investors, but they couldn’t scale. Indians weren’t keen on crypto beyond niche group chats. Indian exchanges sucked. Billion-dollar giants existed, yet the experience was awful. I thought regulations were the reason but no. They had just grown too fast in 2021, and their tech wasn’t built to scale. That’s why Indian exchanges stutter compared to Bybit or Binance. But was this a problem worth solving? Not really, with heavily funded players and a tight knit ecosystem of people. I floated the idea of building my own exchange. Everyone said it was a terrible idea: bad regulations, no banking support, zero chance of funding, and most importantly why would an influencer, who could easily make 50–70% profits from exchange referrals, work this hard to build an exchange? It was indeed a huge risk. I would lose referral income (the main way influencers make money), burn through my savings, and go against giants. I passed. Risk seemed too high. But the audience changed my mind. Hundreds of comments daily complained about Indian exchanges withdrawal issues, trading engines failing during high volume, no real education beyond half-baked YouTube videos, and more. These problems were tough but solvable. Now I just needed the right people to build with people who wouldn’t second-guess the mission. In 2024, WazirX got hacked. Everyone realized Indian exchanges were not safe. The government wouldn’t help. A gap was forming. I had moved to Dubai, to meet passionate builder to help me build an exchange or at least show me a path and finally, after 6 months felt confident enough to start Fedhabit. Moved back to Banglore after 6 months, Announced the exchange to public in Jan 2025, now we’ve come a long way. It took a lot of effort: finding scalable tech, hiring people crazy enough to go against Goliaths with me, securing FIU registration, and finding a bank bold enough to take a chance on us. What a ride. With FedHabit Alpha successfully concluded, just a few steps remain before launch. And I’m told that’s when the real struggle begins. Let’s keep grinding. There is no gain without pain.

I started winding down Hovar and focused on content creation, while still working 9–6 at the office and grinding on personal projects till 2 AM every day. In April 2021, the second wave of COVID hit. I got lucky Youtube took off. Crypto was looking like a legit career. Hovar was gone, but now I had a full time job in Bangalore and a growing youtube channel. By October 2021, I took another leap. I quit my job to focus fully on content with daily lives, this was with less than 45K subs. Another BIG RISK! My only backup was 6 months of emergency fund. After November 2021, the crypto markets crashed. Money dried up, trading became impossible, and I had to take big losses just to save my portfolio. That phase taught me a lot about risk management and how it is easy to make profits in crypto but how hard it is to keep those profits. 2022 was a nightmare. Nobody was watching my videos. Crypto markets were a dumpster fire. I decided to double down, went deep into the space, made a plan to rebuild my portfolio, and invested everything I had. In 2023, the markets started to recover. My portfolio turned green. 2022, Bear markets had taught me lessons that many 2024 batch students are only learning now. I was consistently making profits with a locked in trade setup system (still use it today). My channel crossed 100K subs. It was time for the next step. I never got comfortable neither with Hovar, nor with my job, nor as a content creator. Building distribution had one goal: Build your own product. I began searching for what to build. Tried smaller services for crypto investors, but they couldn’t scale. Indians weren’t keen on crypto beyond niche group chats. Indian exchanges sucked. Billion-dollar giants existed, yet the experience was awful. I thought regulations were the reason but no. They had just grown too fast in 2021, and their tech wasn’t built to scale. That’s why Indian exchanges stutter compared to Bybit or Binance. But was this a problem worth solving? Not really, with heavily funded players and a tight knit ecosystem of people. I floated the idea of building my own exchange. Everyone said it was a terrible idea: bad regulations, no banking support, zero chance of funding, and most importantly why would an influencer, who could easily make 50–70% profits from exchange referrals, work this hard to build an exchange? It was indeed a huge risk. I would lose referral income (the main way influencers make money), burn through my savings, and go against giants. I passed. Risk seemed too high. But the audience changed my mind. Hundreds of comments daily complained about Indian exchanges withdrawal issues, trading engines failing during high volume, no real education beyond half-baked YouTube videos, and more. These problems were tough but solvable. Now I just needed the right people to build with people who wouldn’t second-guess the mission. In 2024, WazirX got hacked. Everyone realized Indian exchanges were not safe. The government wouldn’t help. A gap was forming. I had moved to Dubai, to meet passionate builder to help me build an exchange or at least show me a path and finally, after 6 months felt confident enough to start Fedhabit. Moved back to Banglore after 6 months, Announced the exchange to public in Jan 2025, now we’ve come a long way. It took a lot of effort: finding scalable tech, hiring people crazy enough to go against Goliaths with me, securing FIU registration, and finding a bank bold enough to take a chance on us. What a ride. With FedHabit Alpha successfully concluded, just a few steps remain before launch. And I’m told that’s when the real struggle begins. Let’s keep grinding. There is no gain without pain.

2024 was absolutely the best year of my life. I expect 2025 to be full of continued exponential growth. 2024 Recap: I will start with the bad: I didn’t have very many bad things happen to me in 2024 but I did have the worst single week of my life in October. In one 7 day period I lost my grandmother that has lived 5 minutes away from me for my entire life, my lifelong best friends Dad, who was like a second father to me growing up, killed himself, and I roundtripped my biggest trade (at the time) to date($350k) which was 2/3 of my port at the time. My grandmother passed from pancreatic cancer. She was 82 and lived a beautiful life. I knew it was coming for about a month and I got to hangout with her for her last good weekend. We took her down to our land and we got to sit and talk with her for hours on the front porch. It was beautiful and incredibly sad. It was simply her time to go and although it was/is sad, I know that she is celebrating upstairs and watching over me with a smile. She told my little brothers lifelong best friend who plays college baseball she would help him hit his a home run and he hit his first of college the afternoon she passed. She went out knowing I had run up 6 figures and that she didn’t need to worry about me. She’s the only person that knew/knows besides my little brother. The morning I found out she passed I turned my phone off and just lifted all day. Over the next few days my +$350k upnl trade diminished to an L because I checked out and went on tilt. My brother and I went home the following weekend to grieve with family. I had been in town for a few hours when my Mom got a text about my best friends Dad. Nobody knew he was in as dark of a place as he was and it caught us completely by surprise. I’m thankful I was in town bc I was able to be there for a guy I truly consider family during his darkest time. He spent the night w me the night it happened and we stayed up til 6am just talking. My Grandmother passing was sad but reasonable, this was not and it simply did not make sense. It was selfish and uncalled for and he had a ton of ppl that truly loved him that would have helped him out in a heartbeat. My grandma passing was more sad to me personally bc she was blood and a huge part of my life still, but I had many more questions for God about my best friends Dad. Through all of this I kept my faith and realized that sometimes I don’t get to know why things happen. The Good: There were a million great things about this year but I will only touch on the big ones. I started trading Memes 15 months ago with $180 after being a mediocre options trader. I round tripped ~$200-$300k last cycle and had nothing left. I turned this $180 into ab $100k via holding Wif for 4+ months being fully convicted that it would be the doge of Solana. I not only hit my first 6 figs at one time ever, but I’ve since hit my first 7 figs. I’ve been trying for that $1m number since I was 17 and I always said I’d have it by my 23rd birthday. I didn’t make it happen, was ab 4 months late, but I hit $2m within 24h of touching 1 and did it while I’m still 23. I’ve since been bouncing btw the two but I have a feeling that is going to change soon. I am 1 semester away from graduating from a top ~50 school w a major in Econ and a double minor in Entrepreneurship and business admin and a decent GPA. I’m taking the LSAT soon and if I want to will probably become a lawyer. My second semester freshman year I made a .7 and nuked my gpa simply bc I stopped going to class altogether and didn’t withdraw. I have been clawing my way back ever since. I broke up w my gf of 4+ years over 2 years ago and had been praying for a girl for me for 2+ years. I had gone on some dates but hadn’t met anyone I adored/ considered a potential wife until about 4 months ago. She is now my girlfriend and she is absolutely incredible. Easily the most wonderful girl I have ever met. Over the past year I’ve also gotten much closer with my little brother.
