Summer Camp 2026: Empowering Youth, Building the Nation #GajrajCorps conducted #SummerCamp2026 under theme “Yuva Sashaktikaran se Saksham Nagrik”, aimed at inspiring & empowering youth to become responsible citizens & active contributors towards vision of #ViksitBharat@2047. Guided by #WholeOfSocietyApproach, camp brought together 122 participants from military families, civil communities & adopted villages for a unique learning experience. The programme provided them exposure to government institutions, citizen-centric services, welfare initiatives, military interactions, life-skills training, adventure activities & environmental stewardship. Visits to nation-building institutions & organisations—included District Administration, Civil Hospitals, Banks, Post Offices, Police Station, Airport, #NameriNationalPark, local industries which offered valuable lessons in sustainability, entrepreneurship, community participation & nation-building. Vice Chiefs and senior military representatives from friendly foreign countries, who participated in #ExercisePRAGATI2026 at #Umroi under the aegis of #EasternCommand, visited the #AssamRegimentalCentre, #Shillong and witnessed the Passing Out Parade of #Agniveers. The visit showcased the Indian Army’s high standards of military training, discipline and ethos, highlighting the transformation of young recruits into professional soldiers.
