For BSNL, our government has provided three revival packages totalling โ‚น3.22 lakh crore. We have dealt with the burden of oil bonds, addressed the โ€œFragile Fiveโ€ economy, and undertaken bank restructuring and recapitalization. These were not small amounts but those of โ‚น3 lakh crore - โ‚น4 lakh crore, and now even fertiliser subsidies. Wherever there were weaknesses in the economy, they were left unaddressed earlier, and we are now paying for all of it. Yet, we are being questioned about GDP growth and fiscal deficit. The reality is that we are clearing the liabilities left behind. On spectrum allocation, after our government came to power, spectrum in bands such as 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2500 MHz and 3300 MHz has been provided to BSNL at auction-determined prices for 4G and 5G services. On BSNL, I must respectfully say that every criticism made against it is incorrect. If anything, BSNL was pushed into a critical condition earlier. It was in the ICU, and we have revived it and brought it back on track. The Union Cabinet has approved revival packages for BSNL. The capital infusion between 2022 and 2023 stands at โ‚น2.26 lakh crore. This includes spectrum allocation, capital expenditure on infrastructure, AGR dues, and restructuring of the PSU. The Make in India mandate for BSNL is a strength, not a restriction. There is no restriction on BSNL. In fact, under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative, BSNL has placed an order for 1 lakh indigenously developed 4G sites for pan-India deployment. As of 28th February 2026, 97,906 sites have been installed with 4G equipment, out of which 96,103 are already operational. Additionally, the BharatNet Programme is strengthening BSNL further. An amount of โ‚น1.39 lakh crore has been approved to extend optical fibre connectivity to all villages across the country. - Smt Nirmala Sitharaman in Rajya Sabha

Now, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has shamelessly admitted that he will give Rs. 1,000 crore from Telangana to the Sonia-Rahul family. Why is Revanth Reddy so worried about the economic condition of the Gandhi family instead of his own state where the 6 guarantees and 420 promises have not seen the light of the day? The truth is because for the past two years, Telanganaโ€™s RR Tax has become an ATM for the Congress party. After the BRS went on a borrowing spree pushing the state into a deficit, the Congress has now ensured that the Telangana Debt burden reaches Rs. 10 Lakh crores and still have not managed to show anything of worth that has been built in the state. The CM himself confessed publicly in a TV interview that Telangana doesn't have money to invest even Rs. 500 crores every month for Capital expenditure projects. Then how does he have 1,000 crores for the Sonia-Rahul Family? The RR Tax can be seen in several projects that the Congress government is executing in Telangana including in the demolishing of houses of the poor in the name of HYDRAA, taking away the land of tribals in Lagacharla in the name of industry, trying to forcibly seize the land of University of Hyderabad and Maulana Azaad universities, and taking away the land of industries in the name of HILT policy. All they are doing is looting Telangana like gangsters and keeping it for themselves. The Telangana Congress regularly travels to Delhi carrying gunny bags of RR Tax collections to protect their own positions.

Watch This Video to Know Why #AkshayKumar is the biggest flop actor of Bollywood right now.. Akshay Kumar could never become a super star, the reason behind this is releasing 4 films in a year and making all of them flop.. Even today he remakes 9 out of 10 films and does the same 1-2 films with worn out knowledge, when he saw that every one of his films started to flop, he clashed with #Gadar2 and made it overflow in Pankaj Tripathi's film in which he was doing a cameo, after that he named a big Bakwas film as Kesari 2 and kept giving Bogo offers every day, consider that the film is based on Bogo offer only..the biggest one It was surprising when they showed a film like Sky Force to everyone for free and the ticket offer was such that the public was watching it for Rs 20. The budget of a film like Welcome to the Jungle was 300 crores but its budget was reduced to 150 crores. A film like Selfie was taking an opening of 2 crores and a film like Bade Miya Chote Miya earned 50 crores instead of 350 crores. They wasted all the producer's money and now they are not even getting films. A film like Bhoot Bangla had full corporate booking. A film like Housefull 5 flopped even after taking corporate booking. Akshay Kumar could never give a 250 crore Hindi net in his life. An all time blockbuster in his life. He could not give it. He has given only solo blockbuster in his entire career, apart from this, the biggest record in his career is that 18-20 films flopped continuously after which he had to take Canadian citizenship. The film left by Sunny Deol saved his career and that film was also average. Today if we compare Akshay Kumar then it happens with actors like #ArjunKapoor , Tushar Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi...

I visited the Tara Tarini Temple in Odisha today. Even though it is one of the four Aadi Shaktipeethas, Tara Tarini was a small temple built in brick and mortar till a few years ago. The state govt of Odisha has renovated it as a cost of more than 100 crores. What is heartening is that the temple has been renovated keeping in mind traditional Odia aesthetics, sculpture and the glorious Kalinga style of temple architecture. Kudos to the Naveen Patnaik govt for this! The renovation work took 20 long years and was spearheaded by noted Odia sculptor, Padmavibhushan late Shri Raghunath Mahapatra and a team of expert sculptors and traditional sthapatis from Odisha. The result is spectacular. Today, a typical Kalinga style temple stands atop the Kumari hill, complete with a bhog mandapa, a jagamohana and a tall Kalinga style shikhara with an amalaka on top. The external devakoshthas have exquisitely carved Alasa Kanyas or sursundaris in various vibhramas. The big niches around the garbhgriha feature stunning life-size Murtis of Varahi, Narsimhi and Chamunda, three of the seven Matrikas. The craftsmanship is exceptional. As the work on surrounding mandapas is not yet complete, I got to see sculptors at work in-situ, like how the sculptors must have worked in the glory days of temple building in India! #hindutemple #odishaodyssey #taratarini #shaktipeeth #templetrails #incredibleindia #templearchitecture #dharma

Maria Zakharova about Zelensky: โ“ Question: Zelenskyy in an obscene manner called on Europe and the US to expel Russians from Western countries and claimed that Russian citizens allegedly disrespect the rules of Western states. How does Moscow view such a statement by Zelenskyy, as well as the likelihood of severe restrictions for Russian citizens in the EU and the US? ๐Ÿ’ฌ [Zelenskyy] is a Nazi. What do you expect from a Nazi? He doesn't even consider [Ukraine] as his own country. A man without a tribe or a homeland. To the perennial question, "Whose side are you on?", no meaningful answer was given. But we see concrete actions: he stated there [at the Munich Conference] that he doesn't care about the number of victims his sponsors' experiments will cause. โ—๏ธ This is pure NAZISM. Is this the first time Zelenskyy has made such statements towards Russians and millions of his own country's citizens? In 2021, long before the start of the Special Military Operation, Zelenskyy publicly called Russians and Russian-speaking residents of Ukraine "creatures" who, in his words, "for the future of their children and grandchildren" should "go back to Russia". The fact has already happened - Zelenskyy is perceived as a NAZI in the world. He is a Nazi who relies on Nazi heroes, Nazi slogans, imposes Nazi ideology on his own population, and tries to export all this as an export commodity to such ๐Ÿ‘‰ "political thought fairs".

A single gigawatt of orbital compute requires roughly 200 Starship launches and Elon Musk is not satisfied with gigawatts (Save this). The target is 100 gigawatts of orbital compute per year which means SpaceX is staring down a launch requirement that no organization in human history has ever attempted at anything close to that scale. He acknowledges that scaling to gigawatts per year in orbit is a very hard challenge, but then points to something most people have missed entirely, SpaceX has already demonstrated the foundational capability, because building and launching thousands of Starlink satellites per year is the same industrial problem applied to a different payload. When you understand the orbital compute satellite as a larger version of Starlink V3 with an Nvidia GPU rack at the center instead of a communications payload, the manufacturing and launch scaling challenge stops looking like science fiction and starts looking like a production ramp. The infrastructure to support that ramp is already being built. SpaceX is currently capacitizing for thousands of launches per year, two launch towers and pads in South Texas are operational, the first pad at Cape Canaveral is nearly complete, a second is on the way at Launch Complex 37, and additional locations are already in discussion. As the CFO says it "You need to have those cost curves as you ramp up in volume and time, your costs go down." The vision he describes for what this eventually enables is striking in its specificity. He imagines asking Grok a question on his phone, the inference running on an orbital compute satellite, and the answer coming back down through Starlink direct-to-cell, a complete AI query processed entirely in space, from prompt to response, without touching a single terrestrial data center. That moment, he says, is closer than the industry thinks, with initial capability demonstrations possible as soon as next year. The bottleneck that stands between now and that moment is not the satellite design, the cooling physics, or the silicon, all of which SpaceX has already worked through.

North east Lincolnshire council are having a meeting today to discuss putting signs up around a bridge saying 'RAPISTS OPERATE AROUND HERE' CCTV and lighting is considered disproportionately expensive options ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Complete removal of the bridge is also an option We have had TWO RAPES and one VIOLENT ATTACK in the last couple of years on this bridge and all the council want to do is put up signs warning people that the bridge is DANGEROUS Full video in the comments ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป A petition signed by over 200 residents last year called for action to improve public safety at Fuller Street Bridge, such as lighting, improved signage "to allow the public to make informed decisions" about crossing a bridge where sexual assaults have been reported has been recommended with lighting and CCTV considered disproportionately expensive options. A decision on possible extra safety measures at Fuller Street Bridge, Cleethorpes, is due to be taken at a meeting today, Monday (January 26) after council officers reported back on the options to increase safety It followed the reports of alleged rapes to Humberside Police in January 2024 and February 2025 Cllr Ron Shepherd (Conservative - Scartho Ward), has since held two meetings on the matter, in June and September 2025. At the last meeting, he tasked council officers to report back with costings on possible lighting and CCTV measures, and for greater detail on the bridge's structural integrity and data on reported crime in the area These have now been put together. Based on the data showing Fuller Street has "less crime than the immediate surrounding area" and the bridge "significantly less", a council report concludes it would be a disproportionate level of spend to invest in lighting and CCTV for the bridge, or lighting for the North Wall area Complete removal of the bridge is mentioned as a possible option, with its proximity to the lit Suggitt's Lane footbridge referenced. But the report states public opinion must be considered. Instead, new signage is recommended A review of reported crimes between September 2023 and October 2025 found 294 recorded crimes in the local area, including neighbouring streets like Neville Street. Three crimes have been recorded as taking place at the bridge, two sexual offences and one violence against the person Options include: Lighting and CCTV on the bridge: ยฃ7,000 for the lighting, ยฃ21,000 to install the CCTV and about ยฃ3,000 a year to maintain the CCTV. Standard lighting at North Wall, from Fuller Street Bridge to Wonderland, and from the bridge entrance to the port entrance: potentially up to ยฃ325,000, with around ยฃ2,500 annual costs, but installation costs could be reduced dependent on permission to install columns behind the sea wall. Solar lighting along the same North Wall section: ยฃ200,000 installation costs, with annual costs potentially much less, but dependent on lack of vandalism For bridge lighting, Network Rail permission would be needed. For the North Wall lighting options, it is also recommended that a 110 metre footway be created for safe access between the wall and bridge. This cost has not been estimated. The North Wall options require not just the green light from Network Rail, but also landowner's permission and the Environment Agency's sign-off too. Council officers have also looked further into the bridge's structural integrity "The minimal work required to make this site safe is to fix protective panels over the failed areas," the council report states But it recommends replacement of the parapet mesh to avoid possible future problems, and other works The cost of these is not detailed. But linked to this, the council would have to pay for a legal agreement and track possessions to be reached with Network Rail It is stated these costs are decided by Network Rail and can range from ยฃ5,000 to ยฃ250,000. "Thereโ€™s no way to know what it will cost before itโ€™s been created," the report says

Stories of High-Quality Development | Old home renovation: How to put an end to the 'mystery box' problem Nowadays, people have higher expectations for their living spaces, but when it comes to home renovation, many still find it a headache. Are the quotes inflated? Will there be hidden add-on costs? How will the final result turn out? Homeowners are full of concerns. How can renovation shed its "mystery box" problem and become more transparent and professional? The answer lies in clear standards and the smart use of technology. In recent years, I have seen changes in the industry. On the one hand, cost has become transparent. Digital quoting systems break down each step of the process in detail, with brand models, construction techniques and individual costs listed item by item, making the expense breakdown as clear as a supermarket receipt. Third-party fund supervision mechanisms hold payments in stages based on the project's progress. Funds are only paid to the contractor after the homeowner inspects and approves each phase, making the entire process more open. On the other hand, the construction process has become transparent. Monitoring platforms allow homeowners to oversee the work online in real time, with live footage of the construction site always accessible. Smart detection instruments use quantitative standards instead of visual checks, making it easier to spot errors. At the same time, a dedicated project coordinator follows every stage, from design and construction to inspection, keeping a close eye on all details. Many say renovation is like a tough battle, demanding both time and effort. But now, standardized processes keep the process in check, and technology has opened up the mystery box. Renovation is becoming simpler, more transparent and less stressful. (Narrator: Xin Guiwu, Home Renovation Designer)

One of the BIG reasons why middle class remains Middle Class Middle-class people remain middle-class due to their own actions. They get one chance to become rich on their wedding day. Even the poorest families spend โ‚น20-25 lakh on a wedding for show, instead of giving that money to the couple for financial knowledge or a small business. Society is trapped in this cycle, ensuring you doesn't escape poverty. They prefer a one-day spectacle a procession, fireworks, sitting like a king on a horse and spend all the money, only to go back to hanging from buses and autos for work the next day. They waste money to impress relatives who aren't even satisfied with the food, complaining about salt, not realizing the couple is already spending beyond their means. The actual wedding ceremony (mandap, pheras) costs only about โ‚น50,000, while the rest of the โ‚น20-25 lakh is spent on unnecessary rituals like haldi, roka, reception, pre-wedding shoots, etc., making it seem like a week-long fashion event. They spend a fortune on photographers, videographers, drones, etc., for photos and videos that will just sit on a memory card and never be used, while a friend could take a better photo for a story. They fear being judged for a cheap wedding, but people judge them anyway for remaining poor due to these wasteful habits. Girls dream of expensive weddings and pre-wedding shoots, even wanting to visit foreign mountains for their honeymoon when they haven't even seen mountains in their own country. Their only justification for all this expense is, "A wedding happens only once." But that's also how long it takes to become poor. If they saved money, they could become rich by starting a business. It's understandable if someone with โ‚น1 crore spends โ‚น20 lakh, but those with only โ‚น5-10 lakh are spending โ‚น20-30 lakh. Then they complain about inflation and the government, when they are the ones ruining themselves for society.

It's sad how the Manicaland Provincial leadership succumbed to their greed inducing them to act against the party's constitution which states that the said position was reserved for a woman who should also be from the same Administrative District. I do not blame Tungwarara but the Manicaland leadership which has exposed its insatiable hunger for money. When did a man become a woman for them to make such a greedy blunder? The whole episode, which is a clear strategic blunder deriving from poor political astuteness, reveals the limitations of depending on money as a political weapon. One has to build a proper support base and entrench themselves within the structures through sincere philanthropy as has happened with Tagwirei who has years of work supporting the party behind him. His track record as a benefactor for the party has been testified about, such as by Hon Shamhu in the video, such that his entrance into party structures was a natural progression. No wonder even those who fought against his co-option into the Central Committee failed. After this Tungwarara should realize that as President Mnangagwa has said, ZANU PF cannot be put into one's pocket. There is a need for one to actually work and not seek shortcuts into power. As a political consultant I have assisted many successful individuals for years and I can tell you today that one has to identify their area of expertise where their potential can be realised. This monied and misguided belief that one has to get a party position is shallow. Like him or not Chivayo has identified his area and doesn't seek a political position. Connections and king-making influence is enough for him and that is a strategy. Equally, Scott Sakupwanya has targeted the Legislative route, successfully. Tagwirei has ignored that and instead sought for a position in the party structure. For one sincerely building support in the party donations can be done from behind the scenes and even through the Chairperson like Oppah Muchinguri or the President. That suffices unless there is a misguided and impulsive desire for power which compels one to continuously hog the limelight dishing gifts as a shortcut to power. However, that can misfire spectacularly if done without enough political wisdom.

Few years back, before Covid, during one of my visits to Kashmir I decided to explore Tangdhar. Found no hotels or home-stays there so sent a message to someone I knew here who had once posted that he was from Kupwara asking him if there is an appropriate place of stay there. As luck would have it, he said, โ€œI live in Tangdhar and currently posted as forest officer in Chandigam. You come and I will arrange stay in Dak Bungalowโ€. I packed my bags and reached Srinagar. He had arranged for a taxi for me. The route throughout was exceptionally stunning, quite untouched and heavenly. I reached Tangdhar around 7pm. They took me to their home and not to the Dak Bungalow. I thought probably for dinner as a courtesy but he said his wife was adamant that I stay with them as I am travelling all alone and Dak Bungalow might not be safe. I was very flattered and happy as they had an exquisite traditional Kashmiri home in the middle of nowhere with a stream flowing behind the house against the backdrop of stunning mountain range! Anyways, after I spent time there visiting Leepa Valley, Teethwal etc, I came back home. We stayed in touch after that. Three years ago they called me and said they wanted their son to study at our University as I am there and they will be happy that there is someone to keep an eye on him. I asked them to visit campus and they finally got their son admitted to BBA. Three years went by in the bat of an eyelid. I saw him study, get into fights, fall in love and fall from stairs too ๐Ÿ˜€. Today he graduated and is leaving the University. This boy in video is that Kashmiri kid who I met in Tangdhar when he was in school. He now speaks Punjabi, dresses like a Punjabi (for the day) and ofcourse dances like one too. Life has many surprises but some are very sweet. This is one of that! ๐Ÿ˜Šโ™ฅ๏ธ #Life #Musings #Tangdhar #Kashmir
