Still obsessing over #Saiyaara and might watch it again, but this movie draws a special message evidently & clearly that: if a “Man” has to stay and make things work, he will go to any extent to ensure it, to keep his “Woman”, that’s the only kind of love I understand! Also thanks Mohit Suri for no sad endings, plus that scene when Krish holds Vaani close to him during bike ride is my favourite and the other one is when he drapes her saree before their special moment - a new beginning! Too good! This was like reigniting love and passion back to cinema, which was NEEDED!!! P.S. I clearly enjoy watching these minute details - gestures of love! 🥰 (Talking about “men” in love, not “manchild” or “F-bois” or “boys”, coz real men takes commitment seriously!)

G-Dragon - ALBUM OF THE YEAR Acceptance Speech 📀 🐉: Thank you, I just finished my performance, so I'm a bit out of it. This cute... Ka-Bank? It says that it's an award from Kakao Bank, it's such an honor to receive the Album of The Year award. This year.... even though every year has always been special and precious, to me personally, this year.. I'm gonna remember it as a meaningful year. I did a lot of things for the first time while making this album, and it did take a while for me to make it. I titled the album Übermensch, I just did it because I wanted to look cool, it might be a bit difficult but the actual meaning is 'he who transcends' someone is who always breaking his own limits... but to me personally, it's more like a spell, it's what I told myself, I want to be like that, and I put myself into that mindset while making the album. Thank you to everyone who was by my side while I was working on the album, and my source of inspirations in the future, everyone, ahh.. VIP, FAM, everyone, thank you. I miss BIGBANG members. Thank you to my family, friends.. thanks to my colleagues, and thanks to melon. YUP!

Under the UN’s own Responsibility to Protect, you have a legal and moral duty to act when civilians are being massacred and the state fails to protect them. Yesterday, I had the honor of speaking before thousands of Iranians and Iranian-Americans at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., in front of the Capitol.🇺🇸 I stood there to be the voice of students living in darkness under a total internet blackout. We will not let their voices be silenced. Thanks to the incredible organizers, especially Salar Gholami, for bringing us together and giving us the chance to be a voice for the voiceless 🇮🇷 Here was my speech: First, thank you America for giving us a voice while the regime in Iran has been trying to silence our voices for the past 47 years. I stand before you today as a small member of the Iranian Community I am one of thousands of students from Aryamehr University who should have been building our future in our own homeland, but were pushed out by a system that fears educated, free-thinking minds. I left Iran because an oppressive regime made it impossible to live there with dignity, freedom, and hope. I was one of the lucky ones to get a chance to live in the free world and experience real freedom in the United States. But today, I speak for the students sitting in darkness under a total internet blackout, cut off from the world as the regime tries to silence them. I speak for those who have been jailed, beaten, and threatened. For those who, even with their lives on the line, still choose to stand up. They told us: If you don’t like it, leave. So many of us did. And now, across the world, we have become their nightmare. They shut down the internet to isolate our people. They censor, surveil, and punish to keep the truth hidden. But they cannot silence millions of Iranians beyond their borders. For 47 years, this regime has tried to erase our identity. To suppress our voices. To control our lives, our culture, even our thoughts. But they have failed. They have failed because Iran is not the regime. Iran is its people. Today, during the Special Discussion on India’s strong, successful, and decisive “Operation Sindoor”—a response to the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam—I chose to speak in Bengali, my mother tongue. At the outset, on behalf of the All India Trinamool Congress I extend my deepest respect and gratitude to our brave soldiers in the Army, Air Force, and Navy. I pay a solemn tribute to those who laid down their lives during this operation. Let it be stated clearly: the credit for the success of Operation Sindoor belongs solely to the valiant men and women of our armed forces—not to anyone else. This glory cannot be politicized or shared. In my address, I held the Prime Minister and the Home Minister directly accountable for the tragic Pahalgam massacre. I stated unequivocally: “Four terrorists walked in, opened fire, killed innocent tourists, and left without resistance. Where were the CISF, PSF, and our security apparatus during this audacious attack? This nation has never seen a Prime Minister so inept in matters of national security. And now, instead of owning up to his failure, he is busy glorifying himself.” I also questioned the baffling logic behind the government’s abrupt ceasefire declaration. The people of India stood behind you—united, from Mamata Banerjee to every voice in the Opposition. We believed this time, Pakistan would face a decisive blow, and that Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir would finally be reclaimed. But instead, you stopped midway—as if ending an innings at 85 when a century was well within reach. IS IT ADVISABLE TO MARRY A WOMAN WHO IS MORE CAREER-DRIVEN THAN YOU? Hello, friends. Welcome to another episode of Mr & Mrs Better Half. It is designed to strengthen marriages and relationships that will lead to marriage, with wisdom from God's Word. Sometimes ago, I asked some friends, ‘what do you think causes major friction in a marriage?’ One of the answers was money. On further probing, we got into one of the big money issues: “Finances are often problematic when the wife earns more.” A follow-up question: Since few earn millions on their 1st job, how did these women build their finances to surpass their husbands’? Again, we hit another interesting note- ‘some women are too ambitious! If they would just ‘chill’ things would be okay.’ This statement threw up so many questions. Should a wife deliberately go for a low-paying job to avoid earning more than her husband? Should she also perform poorly to ensure she doesn’t get promoted? If she’s offered a raise, should she refuse? Of course, these things sound silly but these are actual options some couples have considered in their homes to preserve the peace. Sometimes, the man actually starts out earning more but calamity strikes and his business/career goes downhill. So the once ‘balanced’ household turns upside down because the woman now pulls most of the financial weight. The big question you should ask is this. ‘Why should money (something so many seem to be chasing) which should make life easier become the very thing that can cause unhappiness? There are 4 things I would like you to consider today- Changing times, Culture, Acceptance and Attitude. A) Changing Times: Men, the days when women in the workplace were oddities have since gone. With advancements in technology, many of the more physical jobs have been taken over by machines. This means that there’s no reason women should be sidelined on the grounds of being physically weaker than men. This coupled with the realization of a woman’s right to express her intelligence means the world has made much progress where women in the workplace are concerned. Today there is hardly any industry where you will not find women doing remarkable things. As a result, it is not uncommon for husbands & wives to earn similar salaries or have the wives even bringing more. The truth is that most men like the added household income- who wouldn’t? The only thing is that they just want to earn more than their wives. This clearly becomes an issue of self-esteem and ego. Please understand that you can’t derive your sense of self from money. Many men think being a man is all about bringing in money. It takes a lot more than that to be a real man. Different things make a man. They include the ability to provide, lead, protect, nurture and love. Men you have to bring more to the table than just money to be an exemplary head of your household. So stop being hung up on money alone. (B) Let’s go to Culture. In the past women were touted as the homemakers while men barely lifted a finger in their homes. What men didn’t understand is that being a homemaker is a very marketable skill! A good homemaker is likely to be very skilled in people and money management, multi-tasking, negotiation skills, etc. You’d think that keeping a woman in the house would incapacitate her in the business terrain but you’d be wrong! Women develop the soft skills required for top-tier management quite early in life! Coupled with formal education, a woman who truly wants to succeed in business is a force to reckon with. Perhaps we should take a look at how we raise our sons these days. We might just be doing them a disservice! (C) Let’s discuss Acceptance. As a man, I understand one’s ego can take a pounding if your wife earns more. Single men dating ladies that earn more often vow to themselves that they'll turn the financial tables around before they get married or shortly after. Like it or not, this doesn’t always happen. Sometimes a woman’s gift will shoot her to the peak of her profession. What will you do? Will you kill yourself trying to earn more? Will you resent her success or do the mature and supportive thing and accept it? I have come to know a certain truth. As much as it might be your preference, who earns more in your relationship is not your call. I will repeat this. It is not your call to determine who earns more in this life. Everyone has a race to run. God has blessed everyone with a unique gift. You cannot determine the extent of another person’s potential. If you can't cope with a successful lady you actually have a problem with self-esteem which is not her problem; it’s yours. Single guys, when you court a lady, look beyond her hips, lips and fingertips and determine her inner ‘horsepower’. Can you envision whom she is likely to be if all things work out for her good? Will you be intimidated by her success? There are ladies who are incredibly brilliant, driven and ambitious. You can tell they are loaded from the onset. Such people tend to have a light shine on them and often end up in the public eye doing great things. You shouldn’t marry someone like that and try to cap her … you will kill her spirit, kill the marriage or kill yourself. Remember that your wife also wants to die empty. Your responsibility as a husband is to give her wings to fly. Be a real man, a secure man. Manage your ego and support her. Now if this is difficult for you to stomach, please don’t marry her. In your house, everyone should be a cheerleader urging each one to victory. If you know you've the tendency to be jealous of people’s progress or be competitive, marry wisely. More importantly, deal with this weakness. It’s a bad one & reeks of emotional immaturity. (D) Finally- Attitude. Sometimes the husbands try to be supportive but the attitudes of the wives make it very hard. I have already addressed the men on attitude and the need to build their self-confidence and be supportive of their wives, but now I’ll speak to the wives. To the women: Do you lord the fact that you earn more over your husband? Do you seize the reins and make the big decisions? If you keep cutting down your husband because you earn more money, you pull down your home with your hands. Please don’t get it twisted. The man remains the head of the home. Don’t let money or your position at work get to your head. Pride is unattractive in anyone and that includes you. Cultivate a gentle, quiet and humble spirit. It’s important to note that money or wealth will always amplify who you really are. If you are compassionate and respectful you will continue to be so regardless of the money you make. If you are crass, rude and disloyal, money will make that more apparent and cause problems in the home. Remember that marriage is a partnership. Your success is really “our success”. His support helped you become successful. Even if he has not been supportive still carry your blessing with decorum and don’t disrespect him. Remember the blessing comes from God. A woman that sees God’s perspective when it comes to the marriage institution will not misbehave when blessed. God has chosen to bless your family through you. Be humbled by the blessing and obedient to God’s order. To both man and wife: keep praying for each other’s success. Both of you should do your best, no one taking advantage of the other. Keep aspiring to get better and more productive. Keep pushing the limits and be the best you can be. God will cause joy to fill your home. I hope this has been helpful to you. If she’s offered a raise, should she refuse? Of course, these things sound silly but these are actual options some couples have considered in their homes to preserve the peace. Sometimes, the man actually starts out earning more but calamity strikes and his business/career goes downhill. So the once ‘balanced’ household turns upside down because the woman now pulls most of the financial weight. The big question you should ask is this. ‘Why should money (something so many seem to be chasing) which should make life easier become the very thing that can cause unhappiness? There are 4 things I would like you to consider today- Changing times, Culture, Acceptance and Attitude. A) Changing Times: Men, the days when women in the workplace were oddities have since gone. With advancements in technology, many of the more physical jobs have been taken over by machines. This means that there’s no reason women should be sidelined on the grounds of being physically weaker than men. This coupled with the realization of a woman’s right to express her intelligence means the world has made much progress where women in the workplace are concerned. Today there is hardly any industry where you will not find women doing remarkable things. As a result, it is not uncommon for husbands & wives to earn similar salaries or have the wives even bringing more. The truth is that most men like the added household income- who wouldn’t? The only thing is that they just want to earn more than their wives. This clearly becomes an issue of self-esteem and ego. Please understand that you can’t derive your sense of self from money. Many men think being a man is all about bringing in money. It takes a lot more than that to be a real man. Different things make a man. They include the ability to provide, lead, protect, nurture and love. Men you have to bring more to the table than just money to be an exemplary head of your household. So stop being hung up on money alone. (B) Let’s go to Culture. In the past women were touted as the homemakers while men barely lifted a finger in their homes. What men didn’t understand is that being a homemaker is a very marketable skill! A good homemaker is likely to be very skilled in people and money management, multi-tasking, negotiation skills, etc. You’d think that keeping a woman in the house would incapacitate her in the business terrain but you’d be wrong! Women develop the soft skills required for top-tier management quite early in life! Coupled with formal education, a woman who truly wants to succeed in business is a force to reckon with. Perhaps we should take a look at how we raise our sons these days. We might just be doing them a disservice! (C) Let’s discuss Acceptance. As a man, I understand one’s ego can take a pounding if your wife earns more. Single men dating ladies that earn more often vow to themselves that they'll turn the financial tables around before they get married or shortly after. Like it or not, this doesn’t always happen. Sometimes a woman’s gift will shoot her to the peak of her profession. What will you do? Will you kill yourself trying to earn more? Will you resent her success or do the mature and supportive thing and accept it? I have come to know a certain truth. As much as it might be your preference, who earns more in your relationship is not your call. I will repeat this. It is not your call to determine who earns more in this life. Everyone has a race to run. God has blessed everyone with a unique gift. You cannot determine the extent of another person’s potential. If you can't cope with a successful lady you actually have a problem with self-esteem which is not her problem; it’s yours. Single guys, when you court a lady, look beyond her hips, lips and fingertips and determine her inner ‘horsepower’. Can you envision whom she is likely to be if all things work out for her good? Will you be intimidated by her success? There are ladies who are incredibly brilliant, driven and ambitious. You can tell they are loaded from the onset. Such people tend to have a light shine on them and often end up in the public eye doing great things. You shouldn’t marry someone like that and try to cap her … you will kill her spirit, kill the marriage or kill yourself. Remember that your wife also wants to die empty. Your responsibility as a husband is to give her wings to fly. Be a real man, a secure man. Manage your ego and support her. Now if this is difficult for you to stomach, please don’t marry her. In your house, everyone should be a cheerleader urging each one to victory. If you know you've the tendency to be jealous of people’s progress or be competitive, marry wisely. More importantly, deal with this weakness. It’s a bad one & reeks of emotional immaturity. (D) Finally- Attitude. Sometimes the husbands try to be supportive but the attitudes of the wives make it very hard. I have already addressed the men on attitude and the need to build their self-confidence and be supportive of their wives, but now I’ll speak to the wives. To the women: Do you lord the fact that you earn more over your husband? Do you seize the reins and make the big decisions? If you keep cutting down your husband because you earn more money, you pull down your home with your hands. Please don’t get it twisted. The man remains the head of the home. Don’t let money or your position at work get to your head. Pride is unattractive in anyone and that includes you. Cultivate a gentle, quiet and humble spirit. It’s important to note that money or wealth will always amplify who you really are. If you are compassionate and respectful you will continue to be so regardless of the money you make. If you are crass, rude and disloyal, money will make that more apparent and cause problems in the home. Remember that marriage is a partnership. Your success is really “our success”. His support helped you become successful. Even if he has not been supportive still carry your blessing with decorum and don’t disrespect him. Remember the blessing comes from God. A woman that sees God’s perspective when it comes to the marriage institution will not misbehave when blessed. God has chosen to bless your family through you. Be humbled by the blessing and obedient to God’s order. To both man and wife: keep praying for each other’s success. Both of you should do your best, no one taking advantage of the other. Keep aspiring to get better and more productive. Keep pushing the limits and be the best you can be. God will cause joy to fill your home. I hope this has been helpful to you. Another day, another band that arrogantly flogs the guts out of its audience. This time it’s the Hoodoo Gurus. The “Gurus” are men born in the 50’s that lived the very best of Australia in their prime. Men that still collect royalties for the work they did decades ago, when they played to the best pub rock scene in world history. Not only is it poor form to slander your customer base, and it is, but they just demonstrated how out of touch they really are. Worse than that, they don’t seem to care. They might as well be on the moon. The pub rock scene has been hollowed out by lock out laws, displaced by gambling machines, and the cost of just about everything, the final boot – the lockdowns – completely crushed our nightlife. Young aspiring musicians today would have a hard time finding a corner pub with a stage in it. There is no room for anything but tables in the dining room, what with the constant pressure to serve tables with overpriced beer – jammed to the head with excises. And pokies take up every available power point, flat-out generating poverty and state taxes. Young people today don’t have the spare cash or credit to go out, let alone buy a home in any of the capital cities or major regional towns that the band has toured. There aren’t even anymore young local factory out of workers – because the factories are mostly gone too. Gone with them the meaningful and important work, productivity and resilience that made Australia the place it was when these guys were in their thirties, forties and fifties. Now it is just a population ponzi, fuelling an education ponzi, driving a housing bubble, and rental queues that run from Liverpool to Bowral. There might have been a few people with extreme views out on Australia Day, marching for change, but the vast and overwhelming majority were just Aussies from all walks of life that have just had enough. People who don’t buy by Albanese’s spin, Ley’s lameness, Chalmers’ distractions and Bowen’s blabbering. They feel as though we have been sold their “betters” and that it has been a choice not an accident. They don’t think it is a new thing, and they know that the red team and the blue team, sometimes in partnership with the green team and the teals, have rubbed out their opportunity to live the sorts of lives those that came before them have had. That or they are rightly worried about their kids and grandkids. Because it’s tough out there and it is just getting tougher. Middle Australia doesn’t often get out and protest, but calling them names when they do, asking them not to enjoy Australian music – the sort of music that has been the backtrack of their lives – is just cruel. We have been watching as both of the major parties rapidly lose votes to the One Nation Party, and instead of sympathy, trying to understand why, bands like the Hoodoo Gurus and Men at Work would rather rubbish them, and light another cigar with yet another royalty cheque. The Brisbane rally didn’t burn any flags or denigrate anyone it was inclusive not divisive; it seemed to be to be just a bunch of people celebrating Australia. I don’t know if it’s the failing of the fabled victimhood, or the remake of Valances Kiss Kiss (XX) … But there is a change in the wind, for better or worse, and the establishment better start listening or they will be broomed out completely. Most of us don’t care either way, as long as things start getting better, and soon. I just want Australia back.

Not only is it poor form to slander your customer base, and it is, but they just demonstrated how out of touch they really are. Worse than that, they don’t seem to care. They might as well be on the moon. The pub rock scene has been hollowed out by lock out laws, displaced by gambling machines, and the cost of just about everything, the final boot – the lockdowns – completely crushed our nightlife. Young aspiring musicians today would have a hard time finding a corner pub with a stage in it. There is no room for anything but tables in the dining room, what with the constant pressure to serve tables with overpriced beer – jammed to the head with excises. And pokies take up every available power point, flat-out generating poverty and state taxes. Young people today don’t have the spare cash or credit to go out, let alone buy a home in any of the capital cities or major regional towns that the band has toured. There aren’t even anymore young local factory out of workers – because the factories are mostly gone too. Gone with them the meaningful and important work, productivity and resilience that made Australia the place it was when these guys were in their thirties, forties and fifties. Now it is just a population ponzi, fuelling an education ponzi, driving a housing bubble, and rental queues that run from Liverpool to Bowral. There might have been a few people with extreme views out on Australia Day, marching for change, but the vast and overwhelming majority were just Aussies from all walks of life that have just had enough. People who don’t buy by Albanese’s spin, Ley’s lameness, Chalmers’ distractions and Bowen’s blabbering. They feel as though we have been sold their “betters” and that it has been a choice not an accident. They don’t think it is a new thing, and they know that the red team and the blue team, sometimes in partnership with the green team and the teals, have rubbed out their opportunity to live the sorts of lives those that came before them have had. That or they are rightly worried about their kids and grandkids. Because it’s tough out there and it is just getting tougher. Middle Australia doesn’t often get out and protest, but calling them names when they do, asking them not to enjoy Australian music – the sort of music that has been the backtrack of their lives – is just cruel. We have been watching as both of the major parties rapidly lose votes to the One Nation Party, and instead of sympathy, trying to understand why, bands like the Hoodoo Gurus and Men at Work would rather rubbish them, and light another cigar with yet another royalty cheque. The Brisbane rally didn’t burn any flags or denigrate anyone it was inclusive not divisive; it seemed to be to be just a bunch of people celebrating Australia. I don’t know if it’s the failing of the fabled victimhood, or the remake of Valances Kiss Kiss (XX) … But there is a change in the wind, for better or worse, and the establishment better start listening or they will be broomed out completely. Most of us don’t care either way, as long as things start getting better, and soon. I just want Australia back.
