This play with 2 K’s on Crawford should have been caught for strike three. It probably cost them a run. Kirk made a cursory effort to catch it. It looks as if it goes off the glove & into the mask. I’m not 100% sure under current rules that it even has to touch the glove 1st as long as it doesn’t get lodged in the catcher’s gear. Umpires weigh in.

.Secretary of War Pete Hegseth “We'll start, as we often do here at the Department of War, with the Bottom Line Up Front—for the world to hear, and for the press to have to actually admit: The United States is DECIMATING the radical Iranian regime’s military in a way that the world has NEVER SEEN BEFORE. Never before has a modern, capable military—which Iran used to have—been so quickly DESTROYED and made COMBAT-INEFFECTIVE. Devastated. We said it would not be a fair fight, and it has NOT BEEN.”

President Trump is going to get thousands of our troops slaughtered and Israel has already lost the war. This will go down in history as the biggest war failure in modern history. Someone will be going to jail when this is over.

“President Trump would like the war to be over soon. He’s clearly signaling he wants the war to be over soon. But the Iranians have a different strategy. Their strategy is to stretch this out as long as possible. Their strategy is to inflict as much pain on the U.S. and the world economy as possible. And that’s why Trump’s strategy of blockading their blockade really doesn’t make any sense when you think about it. They’re going to blockade the Strait, so we’re going to blockade the Strait to counter their blockade of the Strait? It’s a recipe for continued stalemate.”

Yeah, and they're brilliant. Also, no one was "lied to." It was openly acknowledged that these were made for the war effort and that info has never been hidden. Why should it be?

Israel is reportedly asking former UK Prime Minister and war criminal, Tony Blair, to be a "humanitarian coordinator" for the Gaza Strip in an effort by Netanyahu to give his war effort "greater legitimacy." This, as Blinken says that "far too many" Palestinians have been killed (without saying who killed them), and Macron voices support for a ceasefire to save women and children, as the death toll from Israel's bombardment surpasses 11,000 Palestinians killed in five weeks. But while the Western politicians may claim to be concerned about the civilians, their actions show the opposite as they continue to make it possible for Israel to carry on with its ethnic cleansing of the Gaza Strip.

PM of Hungary Viktor Orban: "The problem is the war. If we would integrate Ukraine into the European Union, we would integrate the war. And we would not like to be together in one community with a country who is at war and represents an imminent danger on us. Because if a member of the European Union is at war, it means that the European Union is at war. And we don't like it." (There has been no decision to make Ukraine part of the EU during the war, as far as I know - AG)

Russia's defeat is not the aim of the Slovak Republic's foreign policy and government, PM Fico said. During the O 5 minút 12 program, he said that the war between Ukraine and Russia could have ended three months after it began, but someone uses this war to fight Russia to the very end. Slovak PM added that the country's aim is for the war in Ukraine to end as quickly as possible because "these are Slavs killing one another." "War is not a solution. If the European Union devoted as much energy to peace as it has to supporting the war in Ukraine, that war could have ended long ago," Fico said.

Russia says it wants to freeze Ukrainians into defeat - UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband "A war has returned to Europe with Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. A war which has already seen more than 100,000 Ukrainian civilians and soldiers killed, as well as hundreds of thousands of Russians. A war on our doorstep. The worst conflict in Europe since World War II. And here's the thing: this is not just a war that is killing innocents; it's a war of terror. The Kremlin says it wants to freeze Ukrainians into defeat."

“We need an end to this as soon as possible,” says Dr. Majed Al-Ansari, an adviser to the Qatari prime minister and spokesperson for the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs told CBS News' Imtiaz Tyab. Al-Ansari warned that the conflict with Iran has become a “regional war,” noting that Qatar is "not part of this war" but was "dragged into this war," a situation that has potential global consequences that could disrupt global energy markets, aviation, and the supply of key industrial materials.

‼️Russians aren't Upset that Putin is Waging War in Ukraine — Until Recently, They Were Upset he Wasn't Waging it VIGOROUSLY ENOUG ‼️John Mearsheimer: 📑There's no question that there has been dissatisfaction for Putin for a few years now. You want to remember the war has been going on for more than four years. We're now into the fifth year of the war. And I would say over the past two, maybe three years, there has been dissatisfaction with Putin. But the dissatisfaction has to do with the fact that many people believe, and they will say this to you, that he has not been waging the war vigorously enough, that he has not been tough enough, in attacking Ukraine, both on the battlefield, and with the air war. Now, it's important to emphasize that that situation has been rectified. Since about June, the Russians have greatly ramped up their attacks on Ukraine, and it is unequivocally clear that they're going to increase the intensity of the attacks on Ukraine moving forward. So that dissatisfaction with Putin that once existed because many people felt he was not waging the war with sufficient vigor has gone away.
