Upon further study, I believe it could be a severed limb from Yorn (The Hole of Enlightenment). There appears to be a missing portion near the Training Grounds that could match the scale of the Coven's Lair.

Seems my previous guess was too hypothetical and not literal enough. The Coven’s Lair must be from the large stump to the north east of the Stalwart Fortess.

Perhaps this could be from the great stump just north of the Stalwart Fortress mountains. However, what could cut down such a tree? More importantly, what could possibly move a tree of this size such a distance?
