Javier Mascherano on why Lionel Messi broke down in tears after the final whistle against Spain in the FIFA World Cup final. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Javier Mascherano: โ€œAfter the match, I went straight to Leo. I hugged him and didnโ€™t say anything for a few seconds because I knew there were no words that could take away that pain. When he finally spoke to me, he said something that broke my heart.โ€ โ€œHe told me, โ€˜Jefe, these tears arenโ€™t because we lost the World Cup. Of course losing hurts, but thatโ€™s not whatโ€™s breaking me. Iโ€™m crying because this might be the last time I ever wear the Argentina shirt. Thatโ€™s the pain I canโ€™t accept.โ€™โ€ โ€œWhen he said those words, I couldnโ€™t hold back my own tears. People think footballers only cry because they lose trophies. They donโ€™t understand. Sometimes youโ€™re crying because you know a chapter of your life the most beautiful chapter is coming to an end.โ€ โ€œIโ€™ve known Leo for almost my entire career. Iโ€™ve seen him lift trophies, lose finals, face criticism and silence the world. But Iโ€™ve never seen him look the way he looked that night. It wasnโ€™t the face of a man defeated by Spain. It was the face of a man saying goodbye to the jersey he loves more than anything.โ€ โ€œHe kept looking at the Argentina badge on his chest. He touched it, kissed it and whispered, โ€˜I gave you everything I had.โ€™ There wasnโ€™t a single person in that dressing room who could look at him without crying.โ€ โ€œIf that truly was his last match for Argentina, then the world didnโ€™t witness the end of a football career it witnessed the final page of the greatest international story this sport has ever known. No trophy can measure what Lionel Messi gave to his country. He didnโ€™t leave with just tears in his eyes; he left having given every last piece of his heart to Argentina.

โ€ผ๏ธ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ”ต PRESSER ๐Ÿ”ต๐Ÿšจโ€ผ๏ธ ๐ŸŽ™ Enzo Marescaโ€™s Full Pre-Atalanta Press Conference ๐Ÿ”น Enzo Maresca on Liam Delap injury and Cole Palmer not travelling: โ€œLiam is fortunately not any fracture ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ and Cole, itโ€™s part of the process at the moment. He canโ€™t play two games in three days โณ. Itโ€™s a way to protect him.โ€ ๐Ÿ”ต ๐Ÿ”น Enzo Maresca on Delap timeframe and if Sterling will come back into his thinking: โ€œLiam, as I said, he has not fractured anything. How long he will be out? Not sure, to be honest ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ. In terms of Raheem, he is a Chelsea player. January is comingโ€ฆ anything can happen, we will see.โ€ ๐Ÿ“†๐Ÿ‘€ ๐Ÿ”น Enzo Maresca on if James and Fofana will play tomorrow: โ€œReece and Wes โ€” they are both with us, so they are both available for tomorrowโ€™s game ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ”ต. We will see the first XI tomorrow. We had Liam two months out, Joรฃo plays as a No.9, Pedro Neto too, also Tyrique as a No.9. We try to find solutions. We know Liam needs to play games to be fit and be better and better. Now unfortunately he is again out.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜”โšฝ ๐Ÿ”น Enzo Maresca on Garnacho since he arrived at Chelsea: โ€œHe can give much more, but not only Alejandro; all the players we try to improve. It has been quite easy to work with him. He wants to learn, heโ€™s open-minded and working good on and off the ball. Overall he is doing well with us.โ€ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ”ตโœจ ๐Ÿ”น Enzo Maresca on what he misses from Italy: โ€œThe food ๐Ÿ. When I have spare time, I am a good chef ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€๐Ÿณ. Itโ€™s a passion for me. I love food. I can do different ones.โ€ ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡นโค๏ธ ๐Ÿ”น Enzo Maresca on if he is proud of returning to Italy: โ€œItโ€™s first of all always a pleasure to come back to my country, no doubt ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น. To come back in this moment, to represent one of the biggest clubs in the world like Chelsea, I feel very proud about that.โ€ ๐Ÿ”ต๐Ÿ† ๐Ÿ”น Enzo Maresca on Serie A: โ€œItโ€™s changed a lot from a different point of view. Tactically, many teams now try to โ€” not to copy โ€” but do something similar to what Atalanta have done in the last years with Gasperini. Most teams try to play five at the back. ๐ŸšจFabrizio Romano ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธTo Chelsea, but itโ€™s part of the conversation. Garnacho could go to Aston Villa, and now the Aston Villa-Garnacho deal is done, completed, and itโ€™s a โ€œhere we go.โ€ My understandingโ€”and itโ€™s an important point, so letโ€™s enter into all the details of the storyโ€”is that itโ€™s a loan with an obligation to buy, with the salary covered by Aston Villa. Chelsea sources believe that the obligation to buy is very, very easyโ€”extremely easyโ€”almost a guarantee that Alejandro Garnacho will sign permanently for Aston Villa in 2027. So thatโ€™s an important condition and an important point. There is practically a guaranteed obligation to buy, and Garnacho is expected to be an Aston Villa player by 2027. The contract he signs now with Aston Villa, with the potential guaranteed permanent move in 2027, will be valid for several years. Then, the role of Unai Emery. Garnacho was in Birmingham today, and he met with Unai Emery before giving the final green light to the deal. But my understanding is that, in the last two or three days, Unai did an incredible job. The initial idea of Alejandro Garnacho was not to reject Aston Villa. His idea was to leave England and try a different chapterโ€”maybe Italy or maybe Spain. He was in negotiations with Roma. But then Unai Emery changed the story. Emery spoke to Garnacho, Emery wanted Garnacho, and Emery believes Garnacho can do fantastically well at Aston Villa. This was the driving factor in getting the deal done. So, Alejandro Garnacho to Aston Villa is a โ€œhere we go.โ€ The two clubs have also been in contact about Nicolas Jackson, who is a potential target for Villa. Letโ€™s see whether Chelsea want to give the green light or not. I also want to discuss Chelsea quickly because itโ€™s true, as reported by the English media, that in the last 24 to 48 hours, Alex Scott is a player Chelsea approached. Chelsea tried to understand the situation around Alex Scott, but Bournemouth do not want to sell the player. So, at the moment, the door is still closed, but Chelsea tried for Alex Scott. Chelsea are still looking to do something important in midfield. Chelseaโ€™s next bomb after Morgan Rogers could be a new midfielder. Apart from the centre-back situationโ€”we know about Lacroixโ€”and apart from what they are exploring in other positions, midfield is something we should not underestimate. Chelsea will also be busy in that position. Then, talking about the โ€œhere we goesโ€ of the day, guys, just quicklyโ€ฆ #NG67

The top prosecutor in Los Angeles County announced that singer D4vd has been charged with three felonies for the death of a 14-year-old girl whose body was found in the trunk of his impounded Tesla last year. D4vd, legal name David Anthony Burke, faces a possible death sentence for the first-degree murder charge for the the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez under three special circumstances: lying in wait, committing the crime for financial gain and murdering the witness in an investigation. The 21-year-old Houston native was arrested last Thursday at a home in Hollywood. His lawyers released a statement saying he's innocent. He's to be arraigned today at 1:30 p.m. in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The charges allege he murdered Celeste on April 23, 2025, after she went to his home in the Hollywood Hills. Her family reported her missing a year before, on April 5, 2024. Her remains were found in Burke's car on Sept. 8, 2025. "Before I get into the description of these charges and their seriousness, I want to look at this as a parent. I am a parent of three children, and a parent's nightmare is a situation where your daughter goes out one night and never comes back," Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said at a press conference this mornning (Monday, April 20). "Celeste, a 14 year old at that time, went to Mr. Burke's house in the Hollywood Hills. She was never heard from again. "Hochman said Burke killed Celse "to maintain his very lucrative musical career that Celeste was threatening on that particular night." That's the basis for the financial gain circumstance as well as the circumstance of murdering a witness to an investigation. "In this particular case as the evidence will come out in court, the witness to the investigation was Celeste, and the investigation was into the lewd and lascivious sexual acts committed by Mr. Burke that is the subject of count two of this complaint with Celeste while she was under 14 years old," Hochman said.

๐ŸšจNew: Sir Alex Ferguson on the Messi, Pele, Maradona and Ronaldo GOAT debate: โ€ข Interviewer: Sir Alex, the debate never ends โ€” Messi, Pelรฉ, Maradona, Ronaldo. Who is the greatest of all time for you? ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธFerguson: โ€œIโ€™ve been asked this question more times than I can count over the years, and for a long time I refused to give a straight answer because the debate was still open. It isnโ€™t open anymore. Messiโ€™s World Cup in 2022 was the final piece. Before that tournament he already had everything else, the Champions Leagues, the league titles in different countries, the Ballons dโ€™Or, the individual brilliance that no one could match. The only thing missing was the World Cup. He went and got it. When a player completes the full set like that, the conversation changes. He has now completed football. Every major trophy, every individual award, every level of the game. That closes the debate for me. Because of that completion, Messi sits clearly above Pele, Maradona and Ronaldo. Iโ€™m not saying the other three werenโ€™t great. Of course they were. But the ledger is now complete for Messi in a way it never was for the others, and that has to count. Now, people will jump on the fact that Cristiano was my player. He was. He is still my boy in many ways. I have huge affection and respect for him, the hunger, the work rate, the way he rebuilt himself season after season. That part is emotional for me. But the ranking itself is no longer emotional. Itโ€™s factual. You separate the personal from the professional when the evidence is this clear. Letโ€™s be honest about what Cristiano is. He is the more adaptable, all-round player. Different leagues, different systems, different styles of play. He could score with either foot, with his head, from distance, from six yards. He could lead a dressing room, he could carry a team on pure willpower, and he stayed at the highest level for an absurd length of time. No serious person denies any of that. Physical dominance, leadership, versatility โ€” he has those qualities in abundance. But adaptable is not the same as greatest. In pure footballing terms โ€” the genius of the first touch, the vision, the consistency at the absolute peak for over a decade, and now the complete trophy case โ€” Messi is on another level. Ronaldo is not close in that specific sense. One is an extraordinary athlete and competitor who maximised every ounce of his talent. The other is simply a better footballer. Thatโ€™s the distinction. Pele and Maradona were gods of their eras, no question. But the modern game is harder, deeper, and more athletic. The athletic demands, the tactical organisation, the quality of opposition week after week, itโ€™s a different beast. Messi dominated a far stronger era for longer than either of them managed. That has to be recognised. Iโ€™m not sentimental about this. Sentiment is for fans and for the media. When you strip it back to what actually happened on the pitch and in the trophy cabinet, the answer is clear. Cristiano is an extraordinary athlete and competitor. Messi is just a better footballer. You can love Ronaldo more. You can respect him more. You can prefer his story, his personality, his work ethic. All of that is fair. What you cannot do is put him above Messi anymore. The ledger is closed.โ€ Cristiano is an all-time great. Messi is the greatest. Thatโ€™s just how it is now.โ€

Liam Delap and Estevao Willian are probably available for Aston Villa, and Romeo is still out, Dario Essugo is still out, Levi is still out.โ€ โš ๏ธ ๐Ÿ”น Enzo Maresca on Liam Delap: โ€œWe said since his injury, we didnโ€™t know exactly for how long but he is progressing well.โ€ ๐Ÿ“ˆ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ ๐Ÿ”น Enzo Maresca on Man City links: โ€œIt doesnโ€™t affect me at all ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I speak to you today with a heart weighed down by grief, yet burning with a call to love, compassion, and truth. Before us is a brother, one of us who stood helpless on a dark day when evil showed its cruel face. He begged, not for riches, not for power, but for mercyโ€ฆ mercy for his family. Imagine it, dear saints. Imagine standing there, powerless, as your loved ones cry out. Imagine hearing the voices of your wife, your children, your relatives screaming, pleading, calling on God, while you can do nothing but weep and pray. Imagine watching the people you love most beg for their lives, only to watch those voices fadeโ€ฆ one after anotherโ€ฆ until silence falls. A silence so loud it pierces the soul. This brother watched his family breathe their last breath before his eyes after the Fulani herdsmen attack. He survived, not because he was stronger, but because God still had a testimony to tell through him. His heart now carries wounds no medicine can fully heal. The Bible says: โ€œThe righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.โ€ (Psalm 34:17โ€“18) Beloved, this is not just a story, it is a living pain among us. This brother is the Good Samaritanโ€™s wounded man lying by the roadside of our generation. Jesus asked a question that still echoes today: Who will stop? Who will care? โ€œWhen one part of the body suffers, every part suffers with it.โ€ (1 Corinthians 12:26) If one Christian bleeds, we all bleed. If one family is destroyed, the Church must not be silent. The blood of the innocent cries out, just as Abelโ€™s blood cried from the ground. โ€œThe voice of your brotherโ€™s blood cries out to Me from the ground.โ€ (Genesis 4:10) This brotherโ€™s life is now a living cry, crying for comfort, crying for justice, crying for love. Jesus Himself warned us that the world would be cruel, but He also commanded us to be His hands and feet. โ€œBlessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.โ€ (Matthew 5:4) How will that comfort come, dear brethren? It comes when the Church rises. It comes when we pray, when we give, when we stand with those who can no longer stand on their own. True Christianity is not only spoken from the pulpit; it is lived in compassion. โ€œPure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress.โ€ (James 1:27) This brother is now surrounded by memories of screams, fear, and loss. Trauma has become his daily companion. Yet the Word of God gives us hope: โ€œWeeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.โ€ (Psalm 30:5) Beloved, let us be the morning God sends into his night. Let us not harden our hearts when we hear such cries. โ€œCarry each otherโ€™s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.โ€ (Galatians 6:2) Today, I plead with you, not as a man, but as a brother in Christ. Open your hearts. Pray for him. Stand with him. Support him. Let the love of Christ flow through us, so that even in the ashes of tragedy, hope can still rise. May the God of all comfort strengthen this brother. May the Lord heal his broken heart, restore what was stolen by violence, and remind him that though his family is gone, he is not alone. โ€œThe Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.โ€ (Exodus 14:14) May God awaken His Church to love in action, in Jesusโ€™ mighty name. Amen. ๐Ÿ™

โ€ โ€ผ๏ธ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ”ตPRESSER๐Ÿ”ต๐Ÿšจโ€ผ๏ธ ๐ŸŽ™Enzo Maresca's Full Pre-Sunderland Press Conference - Part 1/2: ๐Ÿ”นEnzo Maresca: "We don't have any new injuries. Liam [Delap] took part of the session with the team yesterday for the first time, but won't be available. [Maybe] for the next one. He can be available for the Wolves cup tie." ๐Ÿ”นEnzo Maresca on Bringing youngsters through: "I said after the game [vs Ajax] that it was a special night for the club, for the fans, with so many young players. They are talented players. The main thing for me is to help them day by day get better and better. If you are able to improve players, you can improve the team. Again, try to help them understand the way we want them to play and also we have coaching staff with all of them after the session. We dedicate time to them to try and improve. They are young and they need to improve. For sure, if you want to improve the team, you need to improve the players." ๐Ÿ”น Enzo Maresca on the temptation to play Estevao all the time: "Balance for me is quite easy. We have 24 or 25 players, good players, but only 11 can start. Since I joined the club, I have shown that we change players. When they don't play, they are not happy but they also know they can't play every game." ๐Ÿ”นEnzo Maresca on telling a youngster he is not featuring: "It's with Estevao, but it's almost with all of them - it doesn't matter about the age. If you say to Tosin, the oldest one, that he's not going to play, he's not happy. It's not about the age but they need to understand they can't play every game." ๐Ÿ”นEnzo Maresca on Sunderland challenge: "They showed since the season started that they are a very good team. They play together, they work together. They have the same points as us so they are showing how good they are doing. It's a Premier League game, and there is no easy game." ๐Ÿ”นEnzo Maresca on Regis Le Bris: "I spent one season with Leicester in the Championship and I love the Championship. I watched Sunderland since last season when the manager arrived. They play good football, they are physically strong, so I like the way they are doing things." #CFC | #Chelsea | #CHESUN | #Interviews ๐Ÿ“ฒ CFC_ChelseaFC via Telegram

โ€ผ๏ธ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ”ตPRESSER๐Ÿ”ต๐Ÿšจโ€ผ๏ธ ๐ŸŽ™ Liam Roseniorโ€™s Full Pre-Arsenal Press Conference โ€“ Part 1/2 ๐Ÿ”น Liam Rosenior on Saturdayโ€™s win: โ€œI went to sleep ๐Ÿ˜ด. Itโ€™s the best sleep I had in about a week. Itโ€™s a week Iโ€™ll never forget. Good win, good way to start and now we have a really big game in a couple of days.โ€ ๐Ÿ”ฅโšฝ ๐Ÿ”น Liam Rosenior on the last time he was at Stamford Bridge: โ€œI played in a charity event ๐Ÿค. I wasnโ€™t very good ๐Ÿ˜…. I played with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink โ€” it was a good mix of people.โ€ ๐ŸŸ๏ธ ๐Ÿ”น Liam Rosenior on the Carabao Cup semi-final and if itโ€™s the biggest of his career: โ€œPeople will look at it that way but I donโ€™t see it like that. I live in the now โณ, itโ€™s the most important game because itโ€™s the next one. I mean that. Iโ€™m happy with the process in which we work as a staff and the players are taking it on. Thatโ€™s how I see it.โ€ ๐Ÿ”ต๐Ÿ“ˆ ๐Ÿ”น Liam Rosenior on Arteta: โ€œEveryone starts somewhere. Mikel is someone who has done an incredible job ๐Ÿ‘. He has had time to build the way he wants his team to look and he has done a very, very good job there. Iโ€™m really looking forward to the game. Everyone has a different background, everyone has a different way of getting somewhere. Itโ€™s a difficult industry to be in.โ€ โšฝ๐Ÿง  ๐Ÿ”น Liam Rosenior on Arteta being given time at Arsenal: โ€œIโ€™d love to be here for six years and longer ๐Ÿ™. But Iโ€™m aware for that to happen, I need to win. Every club has a different project. The idea in any project is trying to win. I have ideas on what I want the team to look like in one, two, three years, but I have enough tools to win now.โ€ ๐ŸŽฏ๐Ÿ’ช ๐Ÿ”น Liam Rosenior on Arsenal clash: โ€œWeโ€™ve been working tactically on Arsenal since I came into the club ๐Ÿ“‹. We know how important the game is. I was very happy with the attitude against Charlton โ€” in terms of our energy, intensity and winning duels โš”๏ธ. Weโ€™ve analysed every aspect, including set plays.โ€ ๐ŸŽฏ๐Ÿ“Š #CFC | #Chelsea | #CarabaoCup | #Interviews ๐Ÿ“ฒ CFC_ChelseaFC via Telegram ๐Ÿ“น Chelsea football Cub via YouTube
