"Scotland the Brave" (Alba an Àigh) a Scottish patriotic song, one of three often considered an unofficial Scottish national anthem ("Flower of Scotland" and "Scots Wha Hae"). The tune probably originated in the late 19th Century AD. The earliest known printing of the tune was in the Utah Musical Bouquet, January 1878 AD, and the earliest known version printed in Scotland is in The National Choir, 1891 AD. The lyrics commonly used now were written about 1950 by Scottish journalist Clifford Leonard Clark "Cliff" Hanley for singer Robert Wilson as part of an arrangement by Marion McClurg. Another set of lyrics also often heard were sung by Canadian singer John Charles McDermott; they are closely based on the poem "Let Italy Boast" by James Hyslop, which was first published in 1821 in The Edinburgh Magazine. JUST IN: The man who went viral for having a meltdown after a Republican poll greeter said hi to him, has been exposed as Brendan Anthony Martin according to Marco Polo. Here is where things get interesting. In 2018 while former President Trump was hosting a "Celebration of America" after disinviting the Philadelphia Eagles to the White House, he was heckled by a booing audience member. The heckler? Brendan Anthony Martin as noted by Marco Polo. The heckler was captured by a photographer yelling at Trump (Image next to video below). "Stop hiding behind the armed services and the National Anthem. Let's hear it for the Eagles," Martin reportedly shouted at the time. It gets even worse. In 2018 while former President Trump was hosting a "Celebration of America" after disinviting the Philadelphia Eagles to the White House, he was heckled by a booing audience member. The heckler? Brendan Anthony Martin as noted by Marco Polo. The heckler was captured by a photographer yelling at Trump (Image next to video below). "Stop hiding behind the armed services and the National Anthem. Let's hear it for the Eagles," Martin reportedly shouted at the time. It gets even worse. Martin is a full time technical administrator for the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) foster care system according to his LinkedIn account. This man should be nowhere near kids.

The infrastructure for working with video data at scale barely exists. Grass Video Search is our first step in changing that. You can now find anything in a video based on the contents of its frames, not just transcripts or tags. Over the last several months, the Grass Foundation has quietly assembled one of the largest video datasets in history: over a billion videos from across the public web, and is segmenting them by scene with VLM annotations of keyframes. This dataset is now searchable, so you can find the exact moment a visual, pattern, or concept appears. Curation has always been the bottleneck in video analysis. We built a system that automates it. This is just the beginning. Over 4 billion additional videos are queued for processing, and the index is growing daily. We’re opening access to a limited set of collaborators. If you’re a researcher, journalist, or nonprofit working with video, archives, or large-scale analysis, we’d love to hear from you.
