🚨𝐌𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬🚨 On January 19, 2026, at approximately 5:45 p.m., deputies with #teamHCSO, with assistance from our Aviation Unit, arrested Jaureecio Thornton, 26, in connection with multiple felony warrants. Thornton was seen inside a Tesla at a charging station at a Wawa on East Hillsborough... Avenue. Deputies searched the vehicle, where they located a handgun with multiple rounds of ammunition, marijuana, oxycodone, and multiple credit/debit cards belonging to other individuals. Thornton, a three-time convicted felon is facing numerous charges including, Unlawful Possession of Personal Identification of Another (5 or More), Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Armed Possession of Controlled Substance, and multiple felony warrants. More than $1,200 in cash was also seized.show more

A dangerous, five-time convicted felon is off the streets thanks to the quick actions of our deputies. On August 13, 2026, #teamHCSO located a suspect wanted for domestic violence offenses, including threatening a victim and directly pointing a firearm at her, near the 1500 block of West Brandon Boulevard. Deputies tried to stop his vehicle, but he fled at high speed. Our Aviation Unit tracked Tyrome Huff Jr., 21, while ground units deployed stop sticks. The vehicle went into a ditch, and Huff fled on foot before being arrested. A firearm was recovered. Huff is a five-time convicted felon. He is charged with: two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Domestic Battery by Strangulation, two counts of Violation of a Domestic Violence Injunction, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Fleeing to Elude High Speed, and Felon in Possession of Ammunition.

On March 10, 2026, TAC officers conducted a traffic stop at Orange Blossom Trail and Gore Street. Officers developed probable cause to search the suspect and the vehicle. During a search of the suspect, officers found a loaded firearm in the waistband of Jabarco Botellapatino Coleman (DOB: 11/09/1976). Officers also recovered crack cocaine and weed from the vehicle. Coleman, a convicted felon, was placed under arrest and charged with the following: Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon Possession of Firearm in Commission of a Felony Sale/Delivery of Cocaine Possession of Oxycodone (Percocet) Possession of Cannabis < 20 grams Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

3 Arrested – Stolen Vehicle DCSO Deputies were patrolling Highlands Ranch when they reviewed an alert from an Automatic License Plate Reader for a stolen vehicle. Deputies began searching the area for the car and located it parked in a strip mall’s lot. Deputies formulated a plan and blocked the vehicle in the parking spot. Deputies took the driver and rear passenger into custody without incident, then located the 3rd passenger walking the strip mall's parking lot and took her into custody without incident. During the search of the vehicle and subjects in custody, narcotics were found, including paraphernalia. Deputies learned Patascher threatened another driver and displayed a handgun during the encounter. As the investigation unfolded, deputies determined that Patascher had allegedly switched his license plate after the incident to avoid being identified. On July 31, 2026, Patascher was arrested by the Pasco County Sheriff's Office in connection with this investigation. He is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Driving While License Revoked (Habitual Offender).

His sentencing proceedings are about to begin, and under South African law he could face a substantial prison sentence — potentially up to 15 years. Whatever one’s politics, this case is a serious test of the rule of law.
