Tonight I was deemed Legendary. Aja Miyake Mugler. I am still gagged. I am still floating. I am still a little high and I have not eaten all day, but my heart is so full right now that I do not even care ❤️‍🔥 First, thank you to my runway divas Aoki Donyale Luna, and Lolita Miyake Mugler. Y’all believed in me, poured into me, analyzed my every step, every angle, every personality quirk, and pushed me to keep going even when I doubted myself. I love you all so much. A huge thank you to Dominique Miyake Mugler for always seeing me. Thank you to my son Zenith for always riding for me. Thank you to my father Arturo for being my voice of reason and keeping me grounded when my mind spirals. And thank you to our founder David, one of the kindest and most selfless souls I have ever met. Every conversation with you brings me deeper into the history and magic of this house. I love my Muglers more than I can ever explain. When I first came to ballroom, I was 12 years old. I discovered this world on the pier and on MySpace. I never imagined that the little kid who used to sneak to Escos would one day actually be Legendary. I never imagined I would end up with an undefeated 30 grand prize streak, ten of the years, teaching classes worldwide, and speaking on ballroom in media and television. My runway was born from watching Londyn Miyake Mugler, Nadine Milan, and Tyra Maison Margiela. Three completely different flavors, but all dangerous and beautiful. I started in performance. Runway was something I picked up just to prove to myself that I could do it. I never expected any of this to happen. I never did it for a title. I did it because I love pushing myself. I did it because I wanted to show the world that I could. Tonight hit me hard because I was not expecting it. I was literally in the kitchen cooking oxtail for the Muglers all day, running on fumes, and I showed up five minutes before Grand March. I was not even thinking about a deem. So when my name was called, my imposter syndrome tried to jump out. For a second, I told myself there was no way. Then I stopped and said, no. I deserve this. I worked for this. I bled for this. I stayed up stitching effects when I could not afford it. I walked balls tired, stressed, broke, emotional, and still gave my all. I let myself have my moment. I keep replaying my biggest memories. Processing the entire female figure lineup back to back at West Coast Awards. Being the only fem queen who did not get chopped at Crimes of the Century and almost taking the whole thing. Being listed for Female Figure Runway at the Garçon Ball and coming in to battle after Jonovia had just sent every single legend on the way, and then beating her. That night was insane. I was the only non legend left standing and I made it all the way to the second to last battle. I will never forget that feeling. Countless last battles for one thousand dollars OTA. Winning Tag Team Legendary Runway with an Understudy as the groom and bride with Aoki. Winning Tag Team again for one $1250. Winning Latex Ball 2023 for $750. My debut night as a Miyake Mugler, winning $2000 at the Lanvin House Ball dressed as the Tin Man. Winning $2,500 in Toronto the next month. Winning and winning and winning because no matter how tired I was, I refused to give up. Tonight felt full circle. It felt like every stitch, every flight, every bruise, every tear, every dollar spent on effects, every failure, every almost, every win, all aligned in one moment. I am so grateful. I am so proud. I am so emotional. And I hope my journey shows anybody watching that if you aim for something and you commit to the work, you will get there. I am LEGENDARY. And I earned it. our concert on Apple Music Live is officially out. i have not toured since my first album. even though i feel like the stage is my second home, i always felt like more of a studio hermit and like i needed to be off the road to become me 🙋🏻‍♀️ when we made C, XOXO, i knew i had to tour this body of work. these songs, these lyrics, these drums, this ENERGY - was MADE to be experienced live. it’s a world of women with bark and bite, of a Miami Spring Breakers fantasy, of BMX bikers, of bravado, of friendship 💘, of an eternal Miami, Dade County summer. 💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘 what premiered last night is the first show we ever did in Lisbon, Portugal and it was the first time I’d been on stage in a couple years. We were all so nervous but we left it all out there. not once did these shows ever feel like work. if anything going onstage felt like going to a party and blowing off steam no matter what was going on. i am so grateful to every single person who made this show happen. every character on stage - from every single one of the XOXOGIRLS who form such a crucial part of this energy, to our BMX boys, to our robot dogs, to everyone behind the scenes who poured their creativity, work ethic, and talent to make the show of my dreams. thank you Apple Music for sharing it with everyone who couldn’t be there this summer for our mini festival run. and like i said, i can’t not tour C, XOXO. so…. see the rest of you soon ;)

SPECTACULAR START FOR THE WORLD PREMIER OF OUR PLAY! ❤️🎭 Nothing can be a bigger high than the world premiere of a play… and to witness Jaane Pehchaane Anjaane come alive in front of a full house, breathing, laughing, feeling with us… was nothing short of magical.✨✨ Last night was not just an opening… it was an emotion.🥹🥹 The audience was extraordinary. Their energy, their silence, their laughter, their applause—it all felt like a beautiful conversation between the stage and the seats. Moments like these remind you why you chose theatre in the first place… why it still remains the purest form of storytelling.❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 I am deeply grateful to Gajendra Ahire the writer/director of the play. 👏👏 To my fellow actors, who gave their hardwork and brilliance all on stage. 🫡 To our technicians, whose invisible magic made everything seamless… And to every single person who believed in this journey. 🏆🏆 Biggest shoutout to the musical genius of dearest Anu Malik for composing the music for the first time for a play! 😍👏 Kausar Munir your lyrics are heartbreaking and hear lifting!🎶 Singers like Shaan, Sukhwinder ji and Anandi are the soul of the play! ❤️ Thanks to our #InternationalPromoter Rajender Singh Pahl who flew in from Houston just for the opening night!! Man… outside of memorizing The Eminem Show (clean version), the FIRST tape that ever got me into music was J. Cole’s The Come Up. From that moment on I was locked in. I went to every show I could — my first being when he opened for Estelle at UCR and I drove from the Bay just to be front row. I still remember coming home, downloading Friday Night Lights, closing my eyes and listening front to back trying to absorb it. His music wasn’t just music to me. It was a cheat code to life. It taught me how to think, how to move, how to chase a dream. Every drive was Cole. Every girl I dated got sick of it and after every breakup I’d get the same text: “A Cole song came on today, thought of you.” Funny enough, every YouTube video I ever posted ended with the instrumental to Return of Simba. That song meant everything to me. I’ll admit there were times I crossed into full STAN territory. In 2018, after everything fell apart in my life, I convinced myself and the world that I had to walk out and introduce Cole at one of his shows. Why? God knows. I bought tickets to 5 shows across the country, met security, had the strangest spiritual conversations with people who somehow knew him. I got close. Years later I told Ibrahim H. who happened to be at the hookah lounge I was at the whole story, secretly hoping he’d say “Cole needs to hear this.” He didn’t. He said, “Sounds like God was with you. Keep fighting.” That was enough. The last show I ever thought I’d attend was the day after I left my first rehab stint. In rehab all we had were MP3 players and I had his entire discography on mine. That night felt like closure. I silently thanked him for everything his music did for my life and let the chapter close. Since then I’ve been a quiet supporter. Every drop at midnight. Every release an instant buy. But this last Dreamville Fest pulled me back in and for the first time ever I didn’t record, didn’t pull my phone out, didn’t perform for the moment. I just experienced it. And it was the greatest show I’ve ever been to. So yeah, the hype for The Fall Off is real. This Friday I’ll do what I’ve always done by cleaning the house, setying the lights, sitying down, and really listening. I don’t know where I’d be, or if I’d even be here, without this man’s music. I used to want to gatekeep him. Now I just feel gratitude watching how big he’s become. Thank you, J. Cole Always appreciated. Truly yours, your biggest fan, this is Stan.. haha just playing.

Before high carbohydrate fueling, I finished every race totally wrecked. Even in my best races, I’d cross the finish line desperate to stop. As an athlete, I had no idea how anyone could go farther than 50k. With high carb, I had a new realization: what I thought was an endurance limitation was just a fueling limitation. 100 milers feel easier than some trail 30ks I used to do. But knowing the science of high carb and actually slurping down tons of gels in a race setting are two different things. Episode 10 is all about a practice race at the Cheyenne Mountain 50k where the main goal was to get over 125 grams of carbs per hour (500+ calories) in an urgent, high-performance setting (I got to 135 grams per hour, which was a prelude to 150 grams per hour at my 50 miler 2 weeks later). It’s a super fun video by amazing director Cody Bare and presented by The Feed 🧡 Watch here and subscribe: What does high carb look like for everyone? It doesn’t have to be complicated! When you are pushing harder, start with a 40 gram of carb gel every 30 min plus electrolyte drink for hydration, dialed into your sweat needs. I think that anyone can learn to take a 40 gram gel every 30 min, and that alone will do more for endurance performance than almost every training intervention (except easy running and strides, of course 😂). You deserve high carb. In hard events, it improves adaptation AND health outcomes. Don’t listen to anyone preaching to you about health risks or fat adaptation like it’s 2010. The science has moved past that. Fuel the work you are doing. I just wish I could go back to 2010 and show my younger self this video of the end of a 50k. Oh how different the next 13 years could have been! That’s why I come to you with this message now: Give yourself the gift of higher carb, and higher carb will give you the gift of exploring new horizons. Carbs are for everyone 🧡💚💜
