It is with both excitement and sadness that we share that our head coach for the last nine seasons, John Hangey, is taking on a new role this year as the Deputy Athletic Director. While we are sad to lose him at the helm of our program, we are incredibly proud of him and excited to see all that he will accomplish in his new position. We know he will do wonderful things as the leader of our athletic department. Please join us in congratulating him and wishing him the best of luck as he brings the success, passion, and mentality of our program to all of the sports teams across Rider! #RiderStrong l #GoBroncs

WATCH | For a man with no background in politics, and with degrees from the universities of Cambridge and Oxford to back his middle-class upbringing, there is no debate over Singh’s place in history: as someone who played a pivotal part in steering India away from the shackles of a socialist era that endured for over four decades and then went on to pilot the phase in India’s history when the domestic economy clocked its fastest economic growth, when the country was billed as the new Asian miracle, and when over 300 million people were pulled out of extreme poverty. ✍🏼 George Mathew & Aanchal Magazine Read more about the original liberaliser, who signed off saying ‘history will be kinder to me’ 👇🏼 🔗 #ManmohanSingh

Bitcoin Study Sessions: Softwar: A Novel Theory on Power Projection and the National Strategic Significance of Bitcoin Chapter 3 - Power Projection Tactics in Nature Join Grant and me as we walk through the third chapter of Jason Lowery's case for bitcoin as a power projection technology - one that the administration of Donald J. Trump & JD Vance should immediately push to adopt by the US as a strategic defense imperative. A recently introduced bill by Senator Cynthia Lummis would do just that, selling gold certificates to buy 1 million bitcoin over the next five years. Today's conversation tries to answer... What do a single cell organism and car roof have in common? Is the violence and destruction of evolution horrific and grotesque...or beautiful and poetic? Are sociopaths the fairest of us all? Should Cormac McCarthy be in the discussion for "Who is Satoshi?" ...and more. Feedback & questions encouraged & appreciated. We will monitor these posts and engage to raise the level of discourse surrounding this topic. Our next discussion will cover Chapter 4 and the convicting "Power Projection Tactics in Human Society". Enjoy!

.tylercowen believes AI will change religion just as profoundly as past technologies like the printing press. "People more and more look to the AIs for wisdom, therapy, counseling, warmth, and dialogue. This will extend into the sphere of religion." "Why ask your priest or rabbi when the AI knows more about the Bible or the history of the Catholic Church? I think a lot of people will do religion solo through their AIs. Over time, more oracles will evolve. It'll be an kind of implicit polytheism." "Religion changes every time there's a new technology. We saw that with the printing press. This is the next stage in that evolution." From his appearance on the show in January.
