Imo he was the best Laker last night in terms of staying in front of Brown and Pritchard. Brown shot 2/9 vs shots defended by Luka, 8/19 vs rest. Boston shot 9 of 17, 37% vs Luka as closest defender. He had one other terrible break down on that Gonzales cut...but the effort on D overall imo was good.

This is you insinuating that our salaries have been paid, it’s just left with allowances which is FALSE. 2. For your information, the last batch you referred to is Rx’22, the batch I’m a part of, the batch owed one full year salary (allowances). 3. Let me state emphatically that no one from the ‘last batch’ you referred to has been paid any form of salaries (allowances). The government does not even have our bank account numbers. The Game Gear came out April 1991 in the US and was announced to be the 'Game Boy killer.' On paper, it was: - Full-color backlist screen (160x144, 4k colors) - Landscape aspect ratio as opposed to 4:3 - Accessories - Ability to play Master System games and had a TV tuner It sold decent at 10M units but this is dwarfed by the over 100M units sold of the Game Boy. Its main fault - battery life. With only 3-5 hours on SIX AA batteries, it was not very portable - you were forced to get an external rechargeable battery pack or plug into the wall. The Game Boy could go about 14 hours on 4 AA batteries - having a dead Game Gear when the Game Boy still had 9 hours left was a major downside. I had one as a kid (still have it) and I was underwhelmed by the games - eventually I realized it was a portable Master System and It lost most of its appeal to me.

Jamal Shead's Houston Cougars had a 125-19 record over 4 years. That's 87%. Between tournaments and regular season play, he played in a grand total of 138 games and lost just 18. That's 120-18..again 87%. He's currently the third string point guard on a team that's 7-20. That's 26%. In games he's actually played they're 7-18. Either way you slice it, Jamal Shead has lost more games in the pros already than he's lost in the past 4 years combined with Houston. That's a tough pill to swallow for a guy who values winning this much. So after leading the Raptors 905 to a win over the Maine Celtics 115-114, Shead sat on the bench as his team gave a lackluster effort against the Chicago Bulls... He checked into the game at the start of the fourth quarter with his team down 11 after sitting for three quarters. He put up 10 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds, made 4/4 of his field goals and led the charge with a ridiculous 31.7 Box Plus Minus in 12 minutes of play, capping off his career best night with a buzzer beating 3 to close the gap to just 1. Jamal is a winner. And while he may not be shooting well or winning many games right now, it's only a matter of time before all of his winning habits translate to the NBA level. The Toronto Raptors have a very special rookie and very special person in Shead. And as Blake Murphy wrote as the headline of his feature article on Shead, all the guy does is win.

A sneak peek from an analysis thread that will be dropping later. Wednesday's second goal - not appreciated for the move and the play. 20 passes, patient, controlled play. A look at the freezes 1: shows our change of shape in the second half - looking much more like Wednesday of the last 18 months. 433 build up, rotation with Svante moving out to false full back with Lowe going high and Kobacki coming in and looking for space between the lines with Lowe. 2: After patient play, Svante picks it up at false left back, Koback holding space between the lines - this is a key change from the first half - 3: rotation between Kobacki and Lowe, with Lowe now holding the space in the box - between the lines. You then see a ladder movement pattern between Baz, Kobacki and Lowe - runs from the ladder with the lay off into space. 4: Picking up Cadz for the finish. He knows the space he is going to attack, as he attacked the same space to disrupt for the first goal. But timing is key, he has to come onto the ball to finish on one touch, so holding that initial position is key. 5: Cadz holds to see the weight of the pass into McNeill, as he can play the cross first time, Cadz starts the move across as the defenders drop, picking up the yard between the lines A great goal from a side who have spent no money, have about 10 fit senior players, have had little pre season, dont regularly get paid, and, apart from 3 of them, none of which were first team starters at the end of last season. I think Henrik was a little guilty of going too defensive and rigid in the first 2.5 games, but these players can play, and the youth, McNeill, Cadz, Kobacki, need to be given the freedom to play rather than being shackled in a rigid system. Lucas was always shooting from the hip. He had Jabba written as a human in the first film.. He didn’t even write NEW HOPE WITH VADER AS LUKES FATHER… LOL He added it during Empire Strikes Back. People act like he had 1-3 & 6-9 written and in vaults … he didn’t. He knew the backstory was Vader burned on Mustafar after losing a duel with Obi Wan. Nothing else was really written aside from some rough outlines. He made SOO MUCH MONNEEYY from lucking out with Hasbro, games and licensing that he really didn’t have an incentive and I think he was afraid of ruining his historical trilogy. He was doing Indiana Jones as well … years later he kept begging Spielberg to do one after Last Crusade but Spielberg kept telling Lucas “NO ALIENS” as a Macguffin since he already did 2 alien movies…years later he said ok.. they aren’t aliens.. they are an ancient civilization LOL Spielberg said what are they gonna look like ??? Lucas said “ALIENS” LOL . Spielberg got so tired of listening to him he just made the movie .. he was never a big idea guy that LUCAS. Turns out. 1-3 didn’t kill the mythology. It was him selling to Kathleen (Shitty note taker and glorified coffee girl) Kennedy that ruined it. Kennedg is the epitome of failing upwards.

I've been asked to review and provide thoughts on the question of a potential targeting call in the Hardin-Simmons Cowboy Football / UMHB Football🏈 #d3fb game Saturday. I have synced up two videos -- one from UMHB's broadcast and one posted by In The (D3FB) Huddle contributor Riley Conlee (Riley Conlee) (if he could provide credit to the videographer of it, I'd appreciate it). There is a full-speed view and a 20% speed view of the central action included in the video. To evaluate targeting, we have to review both aspects of the rule to see what, if anything, qualifies. I want to provide the entire set of rules (9-1-3 & 9-1-4): "Targeting and Making Forcible Contact With the Crown of the Helmet ARTICLE 3. No player shall target and make forcible contact against an opponent with the crown of their helmet. The crown of the helmet is the top segment of the helmet; namely, the circular area defined by a 6-inch radius from the apex (top) of the helmet. This foul requires that there be at least one indicator of targeting (See Note 1 below). When in question, it is a foul. (Rule 9-6) (A.R. 9-1-3-I) Targeting and Making Forcible Contact to Head or Neck Area of a Defenseless Player ARTICLE 4. No player shall target and make forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent (See Note 2 below) with the helmet, forearm, hand, fist, elbow or shoulder. This foul requires that there be at least one indicator of targeting (See Note 1 below). When in question, it is a foul (Rules 2-27-14 and 9-6). (A.R. 9-1-4-I-VI) Note 1: “Targeting” means that a player takes aim at an opponent for purposes of attacking with forcible contact that goes beyond making a legal tackle or a legal block or playing the ball. Some indicators of targeting include but are not limited to: - Launch. A player leaving their feet to attack an opponent by an upward and forward thrust of the body to make forcible contact in the head or neck area. - A crouch followed by an upward and forward thrust to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area, even though one or both feet are still on the ground. - Leading with helmet, shoulder, forearm, fist, hand or elbow to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area. - Lowering the head before attacking by initiating forcible contact with the crown of the helmet. Note 2: Defenseless player (Rule 2-27-14). When in question, a player is defenseless. Examples of defenseless players include but are not limited to: - A player in the act of or just after throwing a pass. This includes an offensive player in a passing posture with focus downfield. - A receiver attempting to catch a forward pass or in position to receive a backward pass, or one who has completed a catch and has not had time to protect themselves or has not clearly become a ball carrier. - A kicker in the act of or just after kicking a ball, or during the kick or the return. - A kick returner attempting to catch or recover a kick, or one who has completed a catch or recovery and has not had time to protect themselves or has not clearly become a ball carrier. - A player on the ground. - A player obviously out of the play. - A player who receives a blind-side block. - A ball carrier already in the grasp of an opponent and whose forward progress has been stopped. - A quarterback any time after a change of possession - A ball carrier who has obviously given themselves up and is sliding feet- first. - A player attempting to recover a loose ball." We need to start at Note 2 to see if Kyle Brown qualified here as a "defenseless player." If not, then 9-1-4 would not apply to him here. Kyle was not a receiver or a passer per se here -- he was clearly a runner downfield and was not in the grasp of any player. As a result, he was not "defenseless" by definition. That means that the only way targeting can be called here is if the provisions of Rule 9-1-3 were violated. Rule 9-1-3 is VERY specific about the initial requirement before we can go to the question of a required indicator: "No player shall target and make forcible contact against an opponent with the crown of their helmet." The crown of the helmet is "the top segment of the helmet, specifically the circular area with a 6-inch radius from the apex (top) of the helmet." In the videos, we see a couple of telling signs. First, Kyle appeared to actually lower HIS helmet as the contact became imminent, which is something coaches advise against for a variety of reasons, including self-preservation. But what is telling is that the UMHB defender attempted to peel off as he saw the angle of the contact he was heading toward with Brown. Specifically, he appeared to end up perpendicular to Brown, perhaps catching Brown's facemask enough to cause the helmet to fly. Yet, that contact was NOT with the defender's crown. As a result, since Brown was not defenseless by rule and because the crown of the helmet was not used for forcible contact to the head/neck area, the picking up of the flag by the officials was appropriate. That said, I spoke with an official who reviewed the videos without commentary and who landed in the same spot as I did concerning the above. They stated that if immediate replay review was available, crews will generally throw the flag and go to review (here, it likely would have been overturned by review, preserving the defender's eligibility). Since the ASC is not providing the on-field replay review yet, the officials' decision would have impacted the game by ejecting a player for the last 6 minutes of the first half until a Halftime review would have been available. For those wondering about how replay is impacting the game, I think this is a good reminder of the nuances it can impact.

There is a full-speed view and a 20% speed view of the central action included in the video. To evaluate targeting, we have to review both aspects of the rule to see what, if anything, qualifies. I want to provide the entire set of rules (9-1-3 & 9-1-4): "Targeting and Making Forcible Contact With the Crown of the Helmet ARTICLE 3. No player shall target and make forcible contact against an opponent with the crown of their helmet. The crown of the helmet is the top segment of the helmet; namely, the circular area defined by a 6-inch radius from the apex (top) of the helmet. This foul requires that there be at least one indicator of targeting (See Note 1 below). When in question, it is a foul. (Rule 9-6) (A.R. 9-1-3-I) Targeting and Making Forcible Contact to Head or Neck Area of a Defenseless Player ARTICLE 4. No player shall target and make forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent (See Note 2 below) with the helmet, forearm, hand, fist, elbow or shoulder. This foul requires that there be at least one indicator of targeting (See Note 1 below). When in question, it is a foul (Rules 2-27-14 and 9-6). (A.R. 9-1-4-I-VI) Note 1: “Targeting” means that a player takes aim at an opponent for purposes of attacking with forcible contact that goes beyond making a legal tackle or a legal block or playing the ball. Some indicators of targeting include but are not limited to: - Launch. A player leaving their feet to attack an opponent by an upward and forward thrust of the body to make forcible contact in the head or neck area. - A crouch followed by an upward and forward thrust to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area, even though one or both feet are still on the ground. - Leading with helmet, shoulder, forearm, fist, hand or elbow to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area. - Lowering the head before attacking by initiating forcible contact with the crown of the helmet. Note 2: Defenseless player (Rule 2-27-14). When in question, a player is defenseless. Examples of defenseless players include but are not limited to: - A player in the act of or just after throwing a pass. This includes an offensive player in a passing posture with focus downfield. - A receiver attempting to catch a forward pass or in position to receive a backward pass, or one who has completed a catch and has not had time to protect themselves or has not clearly become a ball carrier. - A kicker in the act of or just after kicking a ball, or during the kick or the return. - A kick returner attempting to catch or recover a kick, or one who has completed a catch or recovery and has not had time to protect themselves or has not clearly become a ball carrier. - A player on the ground. - A player obviously out of the play. - A player who receives a blind-side block. - A ball carrier already in the grasp of an opponent and whose forward progress has been stopped. - A quarterback any time after a change of possession - A ball carrier who has obviously given themselves up and is sliding feet- first. - A player attempting to recover a loose ball." We need to start at Note 2 to see if Kyle Brown qualified here as a "defenseless player." If not, then 9-1-4 would not apply to him here. Kyle was not a receiver or a passer per se here -- he was clearly a runner downfield and was not in the grasp of any player. As a result, he was not "defenseless" by definition. That means that the only way targeting can be called here is if the provisions of Rule 9-1-3 were violated. Rule 9-1-3 is VERY specific about the initial requirement before we can go to the question of a required indicator: "No player shall target and make forcible contact against an opponent with the crown of their helmet." The crown of the helmet is "the top segment of the helmet, specifically the circular area with a 6-inch radius from the apex (top) of the helmet." In the videos, we see a couple of telling signs. First, Kyle appeared to actually lower HIS helmet as the contact became imminent, which is something coaches advise against for a variety of reasons, including self-preservation. But what is telling is that the UMHB defender attempted to peel off as he saw the angle of the contact he was heading toward with Brown. Specifically, he appeared to end up perpendicular to Brown, perhaps catching Brown's facemask enough to cause the helmet to fly. Yet, that contact was NOT with the defender's crown. As a result, since Brown was not defenseless by rule and because the crown of the helmet was not used for forcible contact to the head/neck area, the picking up of the flag by the officials was appropriate. That said, I spoke with an official who reviewed the videos without commentary and who landed in the same spot as I did concerning the above. They stated that if immediate replay review was available, crews will generally throw the flag and go to review (here, it likely would have been overturned by review, preserving the defender's eligibility). Since the ASC is not providing the on-field replay review yet, the officials' decision would have impacted the game by ejecting a player for the last 6 minutes of the first half until a Halftime review would have been available. For those wondering about how replay is impacting the game, I think this is a good reminder of the nuances it can impact.

We, as a family, discuss and try to build something that works for all of us. What is his curriculum? Everything that interests him is his curriculum. Who teaches him? To be honest till last year we didn’t need anyone. Basic stuff in life, every real life experience was teaching him. But now as he has grown, he has specific and detailed interests- so if any one of us knows, then we otherwise we find someone who is passionate about his interest areas. If no one is teaching him, there is no curriculum and he doesn’t have a ‘fixed’ schedule - then how does he learn? What is the role of a parent in his life? Well, that’s a valid question. Our role is to facilitate his journey. Bring reflection to him so that he thinks for himself. Bring exposure so that he chooses. Have conflict with him as we can’t be aligned with him in every way and still keep loving him… ❤️😊 Yes, for me- this path is not easy at all as it brings lot of my fears on the surface and I constantly have to work harder on myself. But believe me, this is the best decision we could have taken as a family. Believe me, every discomfort is worth it !!!!! Vanners, one of the oldest silk mills in England, having started in 1740, was repossessed by administrators for the second time in two years. Management told me it's largely because of the decline in high-end neckwear sales around the world. 7. One of Britain's best leather goods manufacturers, RBJ Simpson—otherwise known as Simpson London—closed. 8. Caerlee Mills, which made some of the best Scottish cashmere knitwear in the world, many under the name Ballantyne, turn off its machines after 225 years of operation. The video below shows the factory being demolished. 9. Several bespoke tailors and bagmakers pass away or retire. In many cases, they did not have apprentices, so there was no one who was able to take their place. Their businesses just closed. 10. One of the best American tailors (a cutter, technically) called me in 2021 after he lost one of his coatmakers to COVID. He wanted to know if I had any recommendations to coatmakers in the US or around the world, as he doesn't know anyone left in the US who can sew a bespoke suit jacket or sport coat together anymore. The only people I could recommend to him were in Southern Italy.

🇸🇪 The Swedish People Did Not Vote For This Important to point out is that had only Swedish people voted (or Europeans more generally in Sweden), we would have gotten a Right-leaning government again. Due to inaction by the Right-leaning coalition parties (aside the Sweden Democrats and some individuals in the other parties) and, what can probably be described as political activism inside the Migration Agency, around 220 000 citizenships were handed out. This swung the election. The reality of the Ethnic Vote is now revealed with perfect clarity. My hope is now that Right-leaning parties across Europe cast aside dorky delusions such as “competing in the market place of ideas.” Mass-immigration from the Third World means more voters for the Left. Very simply stuff. Sweden will not collapse as a result of this. Sweden is still one of the best places in the world to live in (especially if you are Swedish and love the people and the land itself). That said the Left-wing victory will result in that the trajectory shifts from positive to negative. Instead of things getting slightly better for each year, things will become slightly worse for each year. Never enough to upset the boiling frog, just a slow and steady decline into becoming a Third World country. I encourage everyone to use Sweden as a warning example. Use it as an example to show why Right-leaning parties must be more assertive when it comes to: 1. Clearing out Left-wing activists from institutions of power. 2.
