For a short while, strangers became part of one moving moment, carrying their own stories, pagod, at tahimik na laban. We handed out water bottles with QR codes for... the 𝙉𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙞 𝙎𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙢. Sa simpleng pag-abot nito, may kasamang paalala na kahit ordinaryong araw, may puwang pa rin para sa pahinga, sa paghinga, at sa muling pagbalik ng ngiti. This is not just a free ride initiative. Out of the 24 jeepney drivers, I always make sure not to cry hearing their stories, but this one… this was the time that I could not control my emotions and tears anymore… Hearing his story really broke my heart. I still remember when we gave him the rice, he said, “Salamat ma’am, dadalhin ko po ito pauwi sa Martes.” I was confused, why Tuesday? Bakit hindi mamayang gabi pag uwi? And then I found out that he goes home to Laguna once a week to save money, and what really broke my heart is that he sleeps in his jeep at night just to have some rest… and from earning 1k, naging 300 na lang? Hindi ko talaga napigilan sarili ko. Ang sakit lang isipin na ganito yung reality ng iba na kailangan nilang tiisin yung pagod, gutom, at lungkot just to survive and provide for their family. Yung simpleng bagay para sa atin, sobrang laki na para sa kanila. It made me realize how blessed we are and how important it is to continue helping in any way we can. Hindi lang ito about giving, but also about understanding their struggles and being present for them kahit sa maliit na paraan. That moment will stay with me. It reminded me why we do this, why we should never stop, and what kind of community we are.

Ive always wanted to post this whole conversation.. BIANCA' S PARENTS MUST HAVE AVAILED THE LIVESTREAM.. THATS WHY THEY NEVER judged DUSTIN. LIKE his haters did who probably watch it in Primetime, which is super edited or on tiktok vids who surely spliced it even more... to paint a certain narrative. He is just emotional of what happened.. Aminado nman silang lahat na sinadya nilang asarin sya ng paulit ulit. Kaya nya natawag na insensitive si michael kasi alam ng hurt na sya di pa rin tumitigil. ( even josh shared his experience with Michae and kira ) When he said di sya sanay sa ganun babae : putol lang kasi pero at the start of the video.. Dustin : ipaparinig mo na may gusto kang iba. my favorite part? How he explained "makakaapekto yun sa tingin ko syo." Dustin: ganun nman kasi talaga like yung actions natin.. for example sipain ko yan (cup tower) kahit sabihin kong joke lang nman anu magiging tingin mo sa kin? KUPS AKO. ginawa ko sya eh.. And ours begin with something simple, a small group of people who believed in two individuals and hoped that someday, more people would see what they saw. On June 26, 2024, the WilBea OFC Instagram page was created, along with its very first post. Just a few days later, on June 29, 2024, a group chat of people who believed in WilBea was formed. At that time, WilBea edits were few, so few that you could almost count them all on one hand. No one knew what the future would hold. Not even Chevy Baldwin. Then came VivaCon, and somehow, everything changed. Soon after, GSOT captured the hearts of many and became more than just another project, it became a phenomenon that introduced even more people to WilBea. And now, another chapter is about to unfold through Peemak and Love U Lots. Looking back, it's incredible to see how a fandom that once started with only a handful of people has grown into a FANmily filled with thousands of shared memories, friendships, and stories. A’TIN gets villainized over and over again, but I refuse to believe that’s who we are. No fandom is perfect. We have our flaws too. But you’ll never convince me that this community is defined by toxicity because time and time again, I’ve seen more kindness than hate. 🩵 This is the A’TIN community I know 💠 My younger cousin made her own lightstick out of boxes and paper because that’s all she had. I posted it on TikTok, and not long after, a Berry 🍓 reached out to me. She said she wanted to give my cousin her extra lightstick. I remember asking, “Are you sure?” because I didn’t want her to go out of her way for us. She replied, “No problem. I just want to make her happy.” 😭😩 Can you imagine that? She didn’t know us. We weren’t friends. She didn’t owe us anything. Yet she chose kindness anyway. And this is not an isolated story. A’TIN has organized donation drives, supported local businesses, raised funds for communities in need, cared for the environment, and shown up for one another in ways that often go unnoticed. Teh?? May nagkakabitan pa nga ng eyelash extensions. May nagdadala ng pansit para di magutom sa pila ang kapwa nila a’tin. This is the community SB19 built. In this intense heat, this simple gesture may seem small but the smiles, gratitude, and warmth we received in return meant everything. “BIGAY-SAYA, BIGAY-BIYAYA: HANDOG NG TEAM KIRA SA KABATAAN” Guess what? After weeks of planning, excitement, and a whole lot of love, our second fan project is finally a reality — and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Team Kira is back at it again, this time with a heartwarming mission: to bring joy and school supplies to children who need them most. 🎒✨ Why school supplies? Well, we were inspired by Kira’s touching story. During her PBB journey, she shared how she was bullied in school and eventually found her confidence and voice through showbiz. Her journey reminds us just how important education and kindness are — and we want every child to know that they matter, they belong, and that learning is a powerful gift. Through this project, we hope they feel encouraged and supported, while also learning how important values are like respect, understanding and pakikipagkapwa-tao. We have already distributed school supplies to three schools: Dinet Elementary School and Calampisao Elementary School, both with 150 students, and Debangan Elementary School with 148 students. After weeks of planning, excitement, and a whole lot of love, our second fan project is finally a reality — and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Team Kira is back at it again, this time with a heartwarming mission: to bring joy and school supplies to children who need them most. 🎒✨ Why school supplies? Well, we were inspired by Kira’s touching story. During her PBB journey, she shared how she was bullied in school and eventually found her confidence and voice through showbiz. Her journey reminds us just how important education and kindness are — and we want every child to know that they matter, they belong, and that learning is a powerful gift. Through this project, we hope they feel encouraged and supported, while also learning how important values are like respect, understanding and pakikipagkapwa-tao. We have already distributed school supplies to three schools: Dinet Elementary School and Calampisao Elementary School, both with 150 students, and Debangan Elementary School with 148 students. Abode is live. A while ago I started exploring social with the mindset of creating something fun. I ended up creating something deeply meaningful for myself. When I started Abode it was out of frustration. How have we moved to a state of social that cares more about how you’re perceived than connection. Growing up from when social was all about connection I often became frustrated that group chats are all that remain for that space. Don’t get me wrong it’s not all bad. A lot of great things have come out of this era of social. I just always wished for more than a chat for my close friends and family. I wanted to create a space that felt as unique as each of my friendship groups. One that wasn’t restricted to a chat thread or functionality, I always felt that chat was this weird state of social where you’re waiting on a response, it didn’t allow for some of the best moments which are often spontaneous. Chats felt like more of a chore to keep up with, than something I wanted to be part of. The result of this was Abode. a hyper personal, create your own social, blank canvas. it allows you to add unique functionality through the form of widgets (which we call magnets). This allows you to have a unique experience depending on how you build your space. More games? More organisation? More social? The beauty of this is it’s up to you. This resulted in what I’ve ended up calling social through presence vs social through action. I’d be playing a real life game with a friend and update our score note in the Abode and other friends jump in and congratulate on the win. No message was needed, no context was given. Social just happened. I’ve seen friends who wouldn’t normally go out of their way to message each other play gruelling games of connect4 with each other because they saw someone was online and playing. It’s this idea of someone else’s presence triggering a natural hangout that’s low pressure. Not someone messaging, asking if you’re around and waiting for a response. It’s a blend between async and real time that just works. Right now it’s very fresh, we have a very limited number of widgets as we experiment with the concept and figure out what works. The idea is to open up our widget engine to allow other people’s creativity to shine and build as part of the abode ecosystem. - group space - live widgets - themes - real time audio chat - messaging - AI powered summaries for easy catch up - Automatic memory building Not all of these features may stay but I wanted to build a space that supported all you’d need and work backwards by using the popularity of features to decide a direction that best suited the majority. Right now there is a land grab happening a few hundred miles above your head: SpaceX alone has already put more than 10,000 Starlink satellites into orbit. Around 5,000 objects went up in 2025, and even more are planned this year. By 2040, there could be 100,000 active satellites circling the planet. Every major nation is trying to claim its share and there are almost NO laws governing any of it. Tyson describes the current state of space as a wild west. So why should you care? The hidden trap: In 1978, a NASA scientist named Donald Kessler ran a calculation that space agencies have feared ever since. He found there is a threshold. Once you pack enough satellites into orbit, a single collision stops being an accident and becomes a chain reaction. How it works: Objects in orbit travel at roughly 17,000 miles per hour, which is FASTER than a rifle bullet. At that speed, even a fleck of paint hits with the force of a bullet. So when two satellites collide, they shatter into thousands of pieces, and every single piece becomes a hypersonic bullet of its own. Each of those pieces can strike another satellite, which explodes into thousands more. One collision becomes ten. Ten become a hundred. A hundred become a thousand. Tyson warns that within just a few orbits, this cascade could wipe out close to 100% of the satellites around Earth. Now think about what those satellites run... I’ve made a short film. Look at the things around you: doors, bins, staircases, furniture, railings, doorhandles, windows. Do you like how they look, or not? Modern design has become boring, but it doesn’t have to be this way. The word “beautiful” is overused. We don’t need “beautiful” lamps, bus stops, and water fountains – we just need lamps, bus stops, and water fountains that are interesting, that actually mean something. Or, at the very least, not boring. Because the aesthetics of architecture and urban design aren’t just a bonus; they totally change how we think, feel, and behave. Boring environments make us more stressed and less productive; they erode our sense of community; they make us sadder, less trusting, and lonelier. A boring world is one where we spend even more time online and where our addictions are even harder to battle. The Problem There is global, widespread dissatisfaction with how the world looks. In this film, and the series it will lead to, we want to investigate that feeling and give it a voice. The point isn’t that we should return to the past or get rid of modernism. It’s about learning from the past in order to improve the present, and about giving the public what they very clearly want, which isn’t the eradication of modernism but the co-existence of modernism AND traditionalism. Just look where tourists go, where they take their photos, and that tells you everything you need to know about what most people find interesting or beautiful. And look at where people go on holiday. It’s always to cities filled with old architecture and design, with churches and mosques and palaces, with charming little alleyways and stone staircases and wrought-iron railings. Of the world’s fifty most visited buildings, only four were made in the 20th century, and they’re all museums or memorials. There’s a reason why posts about this go viral online all the time. Regardless of why the change happened, it is clearly the case that we no longer make things how we used to. People are rightly confused by the fact that old lamp posts (to take the example we focus on in the film) are usually so pretty, while modern ones are usually so boring. Some people say this is just an example of survivorship bias… and they’re mostly correct. But that’s the whole point! Saying old buildings are usually prettier than modern buildings is not to say that architecture used to be better, or that the past was better. It is simply to say that certain kinds of buildings, because they have been preserved, are good examples of what people like most. In which case... shouldn't we try to design at least some buildings in a way that we know people like? A Unifying Cause Everybody, from all sides of the political spectrum and all backgrounds, stands to benefit from a world that is designed more thoughtfully and imaginatively. The world could be such a colourful, meaningful, and thrilling place! So this isn’t about left versus right or conservatism versus progressivism; it’s about making our world a more interesting and meaningful place to live in. This should be a unifying cause, because everybody loses out when our homes and cities are badly designed. I want this film to unite people who think they’re on opposite sides, and to create a consensus that we need to change our approach to how we design our buildings and the objects – benches, bus stops, bins, lamp posts, aircon units – that fill our cities. The Importance of Details We are incredibly rich and have a sprawling choice of shows to stream, phones to buy, or shoes to wear… but everything feels more and more generic all the time. If you want to understand a society, don’t listen to what it says about itself – look at what it creates. You can learn everything about the Victorians – the good and the bad – just by looking at their lamp posts. And what do the ordinary details of the modern world say about us? That we are technologically advanced, very efficient… and care more about making money, about making things as quickly and cheaply as possible, than making our world an enjoyable place to actually live in. It’s important to learn about why and how things have changed, but that’s for another time. The first step is establishing that the public aren’t happy with modern architecture and design, and that something needs to be done. But what we need isn’t a total revival of so-called ‘traditionalism’; the truth is that traditionalism and modernism can (and should) co-exist. The trouble right now is that we only have one, and that people are tired of it. The Power of Noticing But this film (and the series it will, all being well, lead to) is about more than the specific argument it presents. Above all it’s about a way of seeing the world around us, a way of noticing and thinking. “How you do anything is how you do everything.” That is probably true, and it also applies to whole societies, not just individuals; a single doorbell implies everything else about the whole socio-economic and political system that gave rise to its creation. And, beyond being merely “useful”, the ability to notice details makes the world a richer place to live in, and life a richer thing to lead. This is what the film is about, more than anything: the power and joy of noticing. A Bigger Project This short film is just the beginning. We want to make a full series about the history of art and architecture, both for their own sake and also to see what we can learn about life in the twenty-first century and how to improve it. People are rightly confused by the fact that old lamp posts (to take the example we focus on in the film) are usually so pretty, while modern ones are usually so boring. Some people say this is just an example of survivorship bias… and they’re mostly correct. But that’s the whole point! Saying old buildings are usually prettier than modern buildings is not to say that architecture used to be better, or that the past was better. It is simply to say that certain kinds of buildings, because they have been preserved, are good examples of what people like most. In which case... shouldn't we try to design at least some buildings in a way that we know people like? A Unifying Cause Everybody, from all sides of the political spectrum and all backgrounds, stands to benefit from a world that is designed more thoughtfully and imaginatively. The world could be such a colourful, meaningful, and thrilling place! So this isn’t about left versus right or conservatism versus progressivism; it’s about making our world a more interesting and meaningful place to live in. This should be a unifying cause, because everybody loses out when our homes and cities are badly designed. I want this film to unite people who think they’re on opposite sides, and to create a consensus that we need to change our approach to how we design our buildings and the objects – benches, bus stops, bins, lamp posts, aircon units – that fill our cities. The Importance of Details We are incredibly rich and have a sprawling choice of shows to stream, phones to buy, or shoes to wear… but everything feels more and more generic all the time. If you want to understand a society, don’t listen to what it says about itself – look at what it creates. You can learn everything about the Victorians – the good and the bad – just by looking at their lamp posts. And what do the ordinary details of the modern world say about us? That we are technologically advanced, very efficient… and care more about making money, about making things as quickly and cheaply as possible, than making our world an enjoyable place to actually live in. It’s important to learn about why and how things have changed, but that’s for another time. The first step is establishing that the public aren’t happy with modern architecture and design, and that something needs to be done. But what we need isn’t a total revival of so-called ‘traditionalism’; the truth is that traditionalism and modernism can (and should) co-exist. The trouble right now is that we only have one, and that people are tired of it. The Power of Noticing But this film (and the series it will, all being well, lead to) is about more than the specific argument it presents. Above all it’s about a way of seeing the world around us, a way of noticing and thinking. “How you do anything is how you do everything.” That is probably true, and it also applies to whole societies, not just individuals; a single doorbell implies everything else about the whole socio-economic and political system that gave rise to its creation. And, beyond being merely “useful”, the ability to notice details makes the world a richer place to live in, and life a richer thing to lead. This is what the film is about, more than anything: the power and joy of noticing. A Bigger Project This short film is just the beginning.
