No dad should know the pain of burying a child. Tragically, I've been through this myself, on April 15, 2016, when I held my little boy's hand as he drew his final breaths. And then I collapsed on the floor, crying for a half hour straight... I must say, President Biden's response to my question during a roundtable with Jewish community leaders on the ongoing devastation in Israel touched me on a deep, personal level. The president knows the pain of losing someone close. He's experienced it multiple times, nebech. I feel these are the kinds of words the world needs to hear right now.
