Do Not Trust the Opinions of Those Youth Who Isolate Themselves from the Established Salafī Centres Al-ʿAllāmah Ḥasan ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Banná admonishes those who isolate themselves from the Salafī duʿat and elders. [Q]: Likewise Shaykh, when these students return from either Makkah, Riyāḍ or al-Madīnah, they return claiming salafiyyah but they isolate themselves from the established Salafīs (i.e. elders). For example, they isolate themselves from the likes of Abū Khadījah and Abū Ḥakīm, [and] in Canada they isolate themselves from the Salafīs at Masjid al-Furqān (TROID). [A]: Do you mean they speak ill of them? [Q]: Yes. [A]: The people of innovation speak ill about Ahl al-Sunnah. Abū Khadījah is from ʿAhl al-Sunnah, Abū Ḥakīm Bilāl is from Ahl al-Sunnah, and Ḥasan al-Ṣumālī is from Ahl al-Sunnah. They are from the callers of Ahl al-Sunnah — this is something which is well-known. If they err, we will tell them to retract their error, and they will retract. So why do you speak ill of them? Do you want to cause fitnah for them? Do you want to deter the people from them? The people of Sunnah are few in number, how can you speak ill about the people of Sunnah? Those who speak against the people of Sunnah are not from them. Rather, they concur with the people of innovation. So my dear brothers, do not speak ill of these Duʿāt, the likes of Abū Khadījah and other than him, because they are from the callers of Ahl al-Sunnah. If they err, we will tell them to retract. Do not try to discredit them and ruin their reputation because this is something that hurts the People of Sunnah. A 22-year-old man was arrested at West Norwood Masjid in London on Saturday after allegedly assaulting and threatening to stab members of the mosque, including the imam. Members of the mosque released a statement: “This morning, after Fajr salah, an individual threatened to stab the Imam and other musallees at West Norwood Masjid. During the incident, two brothers were assaulted and taken to hospital by ambulance.” The man was arrested under the Mental Health Act according to the Met Police and it appears he is a Muslim. The incident is not being treated as terror related.

The South Lakes Islamic Centre, otherwise known as the Lake District mosque in Cumbria, is making a final appeal to complete the construction of the masjid. The building is now standing and close to completion, but work still needs to be done before the mosque can be fully open and operational. Tomorrow in Bharuch ⚡ A big Protest 🪧 The Jain community is going to protest 🪧 peacefully in Bharuch Gujarat 🛕 to claim the jain temple that was built before the invasion of Mughals in India. Demand for archaeological survey 🙂🙏🏻 CMO Gujarat Archaeological Survey of India Leaders of the Jain community have alleged that numerous alterations and new constructions over the years have changed the site’s original archaeological character. They have expressed a desire to inspect the mosque’s basement to determine the facts but claim that the mosque trust and members of the Muslim community have not permitted them entry. The Jain community has therefore demanded a scientific and impartial archaeological survey of the site. On the other hand, the Jama Masjid Trust and members of the Muslim community have rejected the claims arising from the videos and photographs. They maintain that the material circulating on social media is misleading and does not establish the existence of a Hindu or Jain temple at the site. The trust has also submitted a memorandum to the district collector, alleging that false information is being spread on social media to hurt religious sentiments. According to the (Muslim) trust, the Jama Masjid is a centuries-old historic mosque, and claims questioning its origins are baseless.

The idea of independent Islamic nation-states contradicts the Islamic idea as it is found in the Quran and Muhammad's Sunnah. A Muslim, wherever he is in the world, is part of the Islamic Ummah. A Ummah that should be ruled by a caliph through Sharia law. Islam is a global political-religious worldview of a world without borders. The existing Islamic nation-states are actually an act of heresy. A disbeliever who converts to Islam must completely break away from his former identity, become part of the Islamic Ummah, and serve its purposes personally. Every Muslim, wherever he is, is personally obligated to act so that the Islamic Ummah will be established—that is to say, to collapse every nation-state that exists in the world so that the Islamic Ummah will replace it. The fact that the idea of Ummah is included in the central motif of the Quran is evidence of the vital significance of this concept. In Islamic terminology, the term "Ummah" refers to the religious community, also known as the Islamic holy community. This is the primary interpretation of the phrase found in the Quran. Quran 5.51: "O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliyâ’ (friends, protectors, helpers), they are but Auliyâ’ of each other. In this clip, Shaykh Sulaymān al-Ruḥaylī clarifies an important point for those who are not performing Ḥajj on the Day of ʿArafah: Some people go to the mosques and remain there until sunset, busy in Duʿāʾ. However, to specifically intend staying in the mosque from Ẓuhr until Maghrib is not something prescribed, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not do that. What is legislated and recommended is to increase in Duʿāʾ throughout the day of ʿArafah, wherever a person may be. The focus should be on abundant supplication, not on fixing a specific form of staying in the masjid.

The Anjuman informed that the Eid sermon (خطبة عید) will be delivered by Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq at 9:00 AM. People are requested to reach Eidgah early to benefit from the sermon and participate in the collective prayers. The Auqaf expressed hope that the authorities will not create any interference or obstacles and will facilitate the smooth conduct of Eid prayers at Eidgah, respecting the religious sentiments and rights of the people. It strongly urged that no attempt should be made to disallow the prayers, as witnessed on Shab-e-Qadr and Jumat-ul-Vida, which caused widespread resentment and hurt among the people. It is expected that such actions will not be repeated on this sacred occasion. In preparation, Anjuman Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq visited Eidgah Srinagar to personally review the arrangements and ground conditions. After inspecting the site, he expressed satisfaction that, with the prevailing dry weather, the Eid congregation can be held smoothly. The Anjuman has also urged the J&K Waqf Board to ensure all necessary arrangements for the occasion and appealed to the people to participate in large numbers, maintaining discipline and decorum.
