The 21st Brigade of Somalia's Turkish-trained Gorgor Commando Force on Friday completed its advanced military training in Türkiye and is expected to return to Mogadishu in the coming days, according to security sources. The brigade will be replaced by the 22nd Brigade, which recently finished its basic training in Mogadishu and is set to deploy to Türkiye for advanced instruction. The latest rotation marks a shift in the training program, with an entire brigade now being deployed at once instead of the previous practice of sending a single battalion.
