People are gonna get pissed off at me for this... these are my #StrangerThings seasons rated: Season 1: 10/10 Season 2: 9/10 Season 3: 9/10 Season 4: 8/10 - (only because this set up alot of problems for S5) The season itself is amazing, and would be a strong 9 if they wrote S5 properly. Season 5: 2/10 Yes... I do think Season 5 was a complete car-crash. As someone who’s been watching since 2016, the drop-off is honestly insane. The fact that the Duffers seemingly couldn’t see how different Eleven’s character arc in Season 1 is compared to ten years later in Season 5 is wild. And don’t even get me started on the lack of Demogorgons. Also, did anyone actually believe for a second that Steve was going to die when he “fell” off the tower? There was no real sense of risk or reward in Season 5 at all. For the most part, the acting felt strangely unemotional, which is understandable after watching the documentary, given that they were filming scenes out of order and without knowing how the series would end. Watching the people involved in all of it through in the documentary, there was an overwhelming sense of confusion.

True Freshman RB Jeffery Jones broke the D2 freshman single game rushing yards record of 380 yards, which was set Tiffin’s Garrion Corbin on 11/6/02. 🏈Last night, Jones ran for 385 on just 22 carries (20 less carries than Corbin’s 44) and scored 4 TDs, setting the new freshman single game rushing yards record. While SD Mines dropped a 52-50 heartbreaker in a 4 OT shootout against Michigan Tech, Mines’ Redshirt Senior QB Jake Martinelli absolutely balled out! Martinelli completed 39 of 61 passes for 443 yards and 5 TDs and gained another 62 yards on the ground. While Martinelli threw 1 INT, I’ve watched it over and over, and quite simply, the officials got the call wrong. Mines’ Redshirt Junior WR Mason Galbreath was a major contributor to Martinelli’s tremendous game as he pulled in 10 catches for 160 yards and 1 TD. Mines’ Junior WR Colton Grover contributed another 40 receiving yards on 3 catches, 2 of which were for TDs. The defense was led by Senior LB Hunter Newsom, who recorded 7 tackles (5 Solo & 2 Ast), with 3 tackles for a loss. Despite the loss, SD Mines’ offense was impressive! The defense, for a second straight week played great in the 1st half as they held Michigan Tech to just 7 points going into halftime.
