Help us now: We managed to provide 430,000 liters for $4,845 instead of $6,300 by getting more free water from our partners at MSF. We are also working on getting subsidized fuel to further lower the trucking costs, and the desalination plant will also help provide more water for less money. Our water distributions decreased from 300,000 liters across the Gaza Strip to around 200,000 liters per day, donate: The lack of funds means we are having to constantly reduce our distributions. Lowering our distributions is not aligned with a decrease in need. On the contrary, the need in Gaza today is huge in terms of food, water, medical support, tents and more. It is not only the Sameer Project that is struggling but most mutual aid groups that we know and work with have witnessed a massive drop in donations over the last week. International organizations & governments have failed Palestinians in Gaza but this community of Palestinians & our allies is who we depend on. We depend on your material support and the fundraiser events you organize. No amount is too little! Due to the strong winds that hit us, my tent was completely destroyed, leaving us now living in the open, with no shelter to protect my children and family from the freezing cold and strong winds. I appeal to you with all my heart now، please help us find a simple shelter that can protect us and give our children the safety they need. Last week an ice lolly cost $3.5 in Gaza and we did multiple days of distributions in camps in the Central area giving 1,000 lollies a day. Today sugar is very hard to find and if found it’s around $100-$120 a kilo. Donate: We had set up an initiative called “Gaza’s children deserve life” to support schools and activities for children. However, the kids in Gaza today don’t have energy because of the famine. They faint from the heat and lack of food so we had to put this initiative on pause. We are praying that we can come back to this soon, to providing joy and fun for the little ones in Gaza. A sense of normalcy for kids in Gaza is our priority due to the horrors they’ve been experiencing over the last 22 months or so.
