So hard to look back at the defenses Mike Stoops/Grinch coached from 2015-2021 and realized there was a couple teams that could have won National Championships with even just an average defense

Letting tulsa score 38. God if we had any semblance of a defense we would have won multiple titles

This was actually my introduction to Oklahoma football as I was at this game. I am now a Sooner for life!

That scramble and pass to Mandrews against Tulsa, was when I thought to myself okay this Baker Mayfield dude is something like OU has never had before. He is going to be something.

you can see our lack of defense really shining bright! but, man the offense was off the charts! i am glad to see defense again! you cant out score everyone!

I saw him come off the bench at a Texas tech game and was SOOOO glad he transferred to Norman….if he stayed at Tech, he would’ve beaten us for the next 4 years for sure ….even explosive as a freshman !

Got to be at that game. That wild scramble and touchdown toss to Mark Andrews is one of the best plays he ever made
