This poor stag was hunted for nearly 4 hours today by the Devon & Somerset Staghounds. After being split from his herd, he made a long lonely run over a number of steep ridges, with hunt trailing in his wake! No shot was heard so we hope he managed to hide safety in the bracken

BSV hounds chased a fox into a badger sett on private land today. Sabs had to keep red faced whipper-in Conall McGrath at arms length. In our minds was the fox whose back leg was ripped off by South Dorset Hunt hounds recently as they dragged the poor animal out from hiding.

The Cattistock Hunt kill was caught on our drone this morning. The fox was chased into a dense vegetation with hounds and hunt staff quickly surrounding it. The terrified fox eventually bolted out and was engulfed by hounds, possibly a terrier was entered to do this.
