From 74 to 80 mph at 5'5" 135lbs, an athlete update from Performance Coach @Tread_NBryan ๐Ÿ˜คโ  โ  Tread Athlete Grant Budurka came to Tread, topping out at 74 mph, and a couple of months later, heโ€™s already gained 6 mph, hitting 80 mph for the first time.โ  โ  Standing at just 5โ€™5โ€, we needed to really leverage everything that he had. We worked on some basic drill work to allow for more leverage in the glove side, as well as being able to work the t-spine into extension.โ  โ  With the 10 toes we were really trying to emphasize the arm action and torso rotation in plane. โ  โ  Figure 8 Rockers also allowed him to start creating that loop of energy and leverage his gloveside more than he was initially doing. โ  โ  Grant has also been putting in crazy work in the weight room, and also never missing a day with his mobility, correctives, etc. The kidโ€™s work ethic is out of this world, making him one of my favorite athletes to work with!โ  โ  Some lifting stats (keep in mind the short timeframe so far):โ  โ  Squat - 155x6 to 225x6โ  Deadlift - 225x3 to 255x6โ  Bodyweight up 10 pounds from 125(!) to 135โ  lbs.โ  โ  Of course, he still has a long, long way to go in the grand scheme of things, but he's off to a great start. Stay tuned for 85+ in the not-so-distant future ๐Ÿ‘€โ  โ  #TreadFam

Kyrie Irving gets asked if he wouldโ€™ve won more Championships if he stayed w/ the Cleveland Cavs with Lebron, playing a 1v1 game vs LeBron, & his lack of maturity that cost them a 2nd Ring ๐Ÿคฏ โ€œI would probably be in LA (Lakers) right nowโ€ ๐Ÿคฏ -Kyrie Kyrie also confirmed LeBronโ€™s nickname โ€œLeGMโ€ referring to Bron putting the team together himself as if he was the General Manager. โ€œThey were saying I was asking for a Trade FROM LEBRONโ€ ๐Ÿ‘€ Kyrieโ€™s frustration on media โ€œspinning narrativesโ€ that made him misunderstood when he asked for a trade from the Cavs: โ€œWhen me & Lebron clicked in 2015, I had one of my best years, I was All-NBA 3rd teamโ€ โ€œIf I was in the same Maturity level as I am now, we definitely wouldโ€™ve won MORE Championshipsโ€ Kyrie referring to the chemistry being off losing to GSW in โ€˜17 Kyrie on learning a lot from Lebron ON & OFF the court. โ€œThis man is a โ€œSavant, a Geniusโ€ highlighting LeBron's deep understanding of the game & his dedication & preparation. โ€œWe definetly wouldโ€™ve gave the Warriors a run for their money, REGARDLESS if they had Kevin Durantโ€ ๐Ÿ”ฅ "The ultimate 'What If' in modern sports. RHP Matt Scott (Stanford Baseball) is one of the premier college arms in this year's Draft. After a solid Freshman season that was split between the bullpen and the rotation, Scott this year anchored the Stanford rotation and collected a career-high 103 strikeouts against 36 walks across 80 innings. Earned a Team USA invite for the second straight summer. Scott has an XL, workhorse frame at 6-foot-7 and 247-pounds with plenty of strength and physicality throughout. Quiet, "checkpoint-like" delivery. Small side step towards 1B side, gathers himself and breaks into the rest of his operation. Attacks from a high-three quarter slot. Low effort, does a nice job of staying connected and in-sync for someone of his stature. FB sits in the 93-96 range, but will routinely touch 97/98. Tons of carry through the zone, averaged 22.5" of IVB last year. At its best when located in the top-1/2 of the zone, which is also where it generates most of its whiffs. Just needs to stay out of the middle. Threw it 62% of the time and generated a pretty impressive miss rate of 26%, though I think it can become even more effective if he's able to hone in on his command of it. 55 pitch right now, eventual 60 if some of the low hanging fruit is cleaned up. Supplements his FB with a mid-to-upper-80s gyro SL. I actually think Scott's feel for the SL is on par, if not better, than his feel for the heater. Effective against both right and lefthanded hitters. True, hard gyro look against LHH. Will flash more two-plane tilt against RHH with some sharpness to it. Another 55 pitch that last year had a 40% miss rate. Scott needs to up the usage on his split-change. Threw it just 6% of the time last year and I think it's his best secondary pitch. Legit weapon against LHH. Averaged nearly 12 MPH off his FB and he does an excellent job of killing spin on it; averaged 866 RPMs last season. Essentially falls off a table as it approaches the plate. Serious tumbling life with a bit of arm side fade. 48% miss across a limited sample in '24, I'd give it a 60. Command and control are both average, if not a tick above. Little-to-no reliever risk. Really like the body and stuff. Projects to be one of the first few college arms off the board this July and is a potential first-rounder.
