๐Ÿšจ GOVERNOR FRONTRUNNER REFUSES TO SAY HOW MANY PEOPLE HEโ€™S KILLED โ€” AND THE INTERVIEW GETS UNCOMFORTABLE FAST A Colorado governor candidate is going viral after a reporter repeatedly asked him one simple question: โ€œHow many people have you killed?โ€ Instead of answering, he fired back: โ€œDoes it matter?โ€ The exchange only got stranger from there. According to the interview, he claims: โ€ข his abusive stepfather forced him to kill a man when he was 7 years old โ€ข people may have died as a result of his actions while defending himself overseas โ€ข he once helped facilitate an airstrike that allegedly killed 70 ISIS fighters โ€ข โ€œsome people have to get killedโ€ โ€ข and there are times when itโ€™s necessary to โ€œeliminate the enemyโ€ But when pressed for specifics? No number. No direct answer. And when asked how he allegedly helped call in a military strike as a civilian... He simply replied: โ€œNo.โ€ Now the comments are exploding: โ€ข โ€œThis sounds like a movie character, not a politician.โ€ โ€ข โ€œWhy not just answer the question?โ€ โ€ข โ€œEither the stories are true or they arenโ€™t.โ€ โ€ข โ€œThis interview got weird fast.โ€ If a candidate openly talks about killing people but refuses to say how many, does that make you trust them more... or less? ๐Ÿ“น: TikTok/imkyleclark

INSTAGRAM | 250504 SUNGHOONโ€™s former figure skating coach from his time as an athlete attended the BLOOD SAGA IN SEOUL concert and shared a post about #SUNGHOON โ€˜I attended ENHYPENโ€™s concert after being invited by Sunghoonie. I had coached Sunghoonie for five years during his time as a figure skating athlete. Back then, he was very shy and introverted, but in sports he was extremely hardworking, a quiet yet relentless โ€œtoughโ€ worker. When I asked him during his time balancing figure skating and idol trainee life whether it was difficult, he would always say he was so happy he didnโ€™t even feel the hardship. That teenage boy has now grown into a remarkable idol and singer who tours the world. His once-introverted personality seems to have disappeared, as he now captivates audiences and communicates with fans so naturally, making me think about how much effort he must have put in over the years. It surely was not easy given his personality, but rather than feeling proud or simply impressed, I found him admirable, remarkable, and truly worthy of respect. (His strong, determined mindset from his athletic days must have definitely helped him during his trainee period.) One important lesson I felt today is that people can change as much as they want when they are doing what they love, and they can grow in any direction. Just like Sunghoon of ENHYPEN.โ€™ #EN_WORLDTOUR_BLOODSAGA #BLOODSAGA_IN_SEOUL

I read over 1,000 pages on how John D. Rockefeller approach his work. These are my top 5 takeaways... 1. He saw business as war. Rockefeller saw business like a game of chess. From his biography it says: "He studied, as a player at chess, all the possible combinations, which might imperil his supremacy." 2. He planned relentlessly before executing. As a boy he would play chess with the other kids: "When playing checkers or chess, he showed exceptional caution, studying each move at length, working out every possible countermove in his head. โ€˜Iโ€™ll move just as soon as I get it figured out,โ€™ he told opponents who tried to rush him. โ€˜You donโ€™t think Iโ€™m playing to get beaten, do you?โ€™" โ€œThis part was vintage Rockefeller: He slowly and secretly laid the groundwork, then moved with electrifying speed to throw his adversaries off balance.โ€ 3. He worked as though his life depended on it At his first job at Hewitt and Tuttle they would make him collect payments. Sometimes people would refuse to pay him. His biography says: "Sitting outside in his buggy, pale and patient as an undertaker, he would wait until the debtor capitulated. He dunned people as if his life depended on itโ€ 4. He had complete focus Rockefeller said โ€œDo not many of us who fail to achieve big thingsโ€ฆ fail because we lack concentration-the art of concentrating the mind on the thing to be done at the proper time and to the exclusion of all else?โ€ 5. Work was religious for him He believed work strengthened his character, and formed him into a better person. He said: โ€œI believe the power to make money is a gift from God. Having been endowed with the gift I posses, I believe it is my duty to make money and still more money, and to use the money I make for the good of my fellow man according to the dictates of my conscience.โ€ Rockefeller knew he was destined for greatness.

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei's message to everyone using Claude or ChatGPT at home: "I won't lie to you. There are real dangers." Amodei was asked what he would say to an ordinary person using AI at home, someone like the aunt of his interviewer, Jo Ling Kent. He started by naming the mood: "Look, my message is there's a lot of fear right now." From there, he took that fear head-on with three points: the benefits are real, the dangers are real, and you should get a say in what happens next. First, the benefits: "First of all, as always, this is a great technology and it has lots of positive uses. So let's just start with that. You know, we have hundreds of millions of people using our technology every week to do wonderful things." He points to messages that land in his inbox regularly: "Every week I get an email from someone who says this, you know, I was talking to Claude and Claude diagnosed this disease that my doctors had missed. I get emails like this every week. So, let's not forget that." Then came the part he says too much of the industry wouldn't admit: "But in terms of the dangers of the technology, I won't lie to you. There are real dangers." He calls out his own industry directly: "And I think for too long the industry lied to people about the fact that this technology had risk. The idea was that they would present it as positive as [possible]. We've never done that, but too much of the industry did that." For Amodei, the fix starts with honesty and extends to the person at home: "And so it starts with telling the truth. And the truth is there are risks. Risks are real. But also, you have a say in how these risks are addressed." He explains what that looks like in practice: "We're doing the best we can to work with government to create the proper oversight of this technology to give voters and elected officials a say in how this technology is deployed. And we want to work with those folks as much as we can." His goal is for everyday users to get both the benefits and a voice in the decisions: "I want everyone to feel like they're appreciating the incredible benefits of the technology, but also they have a say in their voice and in their vote in determining how this technology is deployed." And Dario Amodei rejects the idea that AI's future belongs to a handful of people: "This isn't a decision for a few people alone. This is a decision for everyone." He's also clear about how much is riding on it: "But it is an important decision. I won't lie that the stakes aren't high."

I keep reading nasty takes on the donations during Ilia's streams and his reactions about them, and, as you can expect, I wanted to comment on that. ๐Ÿ˜œ Of course, the amount of these donations is not insignificant and, considering the niche sport figure skating is, the money do actually help Ilia. It does not matter whether he would invest those in any skating gear or in his student life or in his home furniture or streamer equipment - as long as he is happy with the investment, it is all good. But his sweet happy reactions are not because of the donations per se. One can clearly hear how his voice overwhelmingly breaks down and his eyes start blickering with emotions. And this right here is not related to money, it's all about a realization Ilia is slowly coming to - that people genuinely love HIM. Not just the skater Ilia Malinin but the sweet 21-year-old Virginia boy, beyond the medals and off rink. And that he has given people so many happy moments that they would like to give him something back. Every single donation - be it $1 or $500 - is mentioned by Ilia and he keeps thanking his fans, always claiming how "blessed" he is. He often says no one needs to donate - just being on the stream is enough, wishes good night to people leaving late at night or happy birthdays, answers questions, interacts as much as possible while enjoying his game. The streams slowly transformed from "Ilia playing video games" to "Ilia sharing his free time with fans while playing video games" - and it's a beautiful interaction which will only grow stronger, I believe. And will give Ilia the confidence that people do love and support him, and will continue doing so. We are the blessed ones, my boy. Thank you for everything! ๐Ÿค

A few days ago, I walked into Gwagwa not as a politician, not as a party leader, but as a broken Nigerian. I went with Dcn. Ken Pela, Hon. Constance, Mallam Ibrahim Abdulkarim and other committed members of the ADC to visit the family of Musa Abubakar, a man whose only crime was courage. A man who stood firm in Gwagwa Ward and refused to allow the mutilation of election results. A man who believed that the vote of the people is sacred. Today, Musa is no more. As I stepped into that compound, I was not prepared for what met us. The cries of his wife. The trembling voice of his father. The uncontrollable grief of his brother. The confused, shattered eyes of the children, children who do not yet understand why their father will never walk through that door again. There are moments in life when words fail. Yes, that day was one of them. His brother could barely stand. His father, a man who should be preparing to rest, is now preparing to bury his son. His wife, widowed not by sickness, not by accident, but by violence. By thuggery. By a system that continues to reward impunity. Musa Abubakar did not carry a weapon. He carried conviction. He did not fight for himself. He fought for democracy. He fought for the integrity of our local council elections. And for that, he was beaten to death by thugs aligned with the APC. This is not politics. This is not rivalry. This is murder. When citizens begin to die for defending election results at the ward level, then we must admit that something is fundamentally broken in our democracy. As I held his fatherโ€™s hands, I could not offer excuses. As I looked at his wife, I could not offer promises that would bring Musa back. As I touched the head of his child, I felt the weight of a nation that has failed its own. But I made a silent vow. Musa Abubakar will not be reduced to a statistic. He will not be forgotten as โ€œcollateral damageโ€ of local council elections. He will not be buried in silence. His blood is a question to all of us. How many more must die for votes to count? How many more families must be shattered before we say enough? This is the tragic consequence of a system where power is pursued without conscience. Where elections are treated as warfare. Where thugs are empowered, and citizens are punished for integrity. To the family of Musa Abubakar: your pain is our pain. Your tears are our tears. Your loss is not yours alone to bear. And to those who think violence can silence the will of the people, hear this clearly: intimidation may wound us, it may grieve us, but it will not break our resolve. If anything, Musaโ€™s sacrifice strengthens our commitment to justice, to electoral integrity, and to a Nigeria where no man dies for defending the truth. May his soul rest in peace. May God comfort his wife, strengthen his father, console his brother, and protect his children. And may justice, real justice, not political statements, prevail. We owe him that. A lot of buzz about Blaire White today, and my initial reaction was what Jesus says: "There will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance." - Luke 15:7 Totally justified to be skeptical in today's day and age where so many people grift off the Christian faith, but I still believe our initial reaction should be like the prodigal son's father, not the prodigal brother who was jealous of the father welcoming the rebellious son back home. We should be joyous whenever someone who was lost is now found, dead but now alive. But as you can see in this clip from his video, Blaire does not believe that he needs to detransition. He believes in the Gnostic heresy that the body and soul are separate, and he believes the core story of Jesus is that "He transcended flesh". He also rejects the necessity of going to church, affirms progressive Christian soteriology that there are different ways to God, and espouses a litany of other falsehoods in his video. Change and sanctification takes time. I've seen the power of Christ change the worst of people, I will always give people the benefit of the doubt in the beginning. Especially because I know how wretched I am and how Christ saved a sinner like me, and still to this day, I stumble and struggle with sin. But the end of the day, we will know them by their fruits. If his conversion is genuine, he will abandon his false gender identity and embrace his God-given design as a man. Letโ€™s pray that he turns from his ways, he gets discipled by genuine believers, and gets plugged into a church that will preach the unadulterated truth.
