Our cities were reduced to rubble, & we endured suffering beyond imagination under Siyad Barre's brutal regime. But we refused to be broken. From destruction, we rebuilt a nation & reclaimed our freedom—proof of our unbreakable will #Somaliland

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon, may Allah SWT reunite us all with our loved ones 💔 As the International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide is tomorrow, I hope this serves as a reminder to Landers and where our focus should be.

I feel deep sorrow for our people. They have been dying needlessly for so many years, all because of our politicians, both past and present😖.
