West Bengal has sunk to a new low. Today, at Beldanga in Murshidabad, ZEE 24 Ghanta district correspondent Soma Maity was brutally assaulted and molested by a violent Muslim mob. The mob chased the well-known woman journalist for over a kilometre in full public view. Her cameraman was attacked as well. What makes this incident even more horrifying is that it happened right in front of a heavy deployment of police personnel, who stood by as mute spectators and refused to rescue Soma Maity and her team. This is the state of law and order in Bengal under Mamata Banerjee, who also holds the Home portfolio. And how did the Chief Minister respond? Instead of condemning the attack, assuring justice, or even expressing concern for a woman journalist who was nearly lynched, Mamata Banerjee had a bizarre defence: ๐Ÿ‘‰ She said the journalist should have avoided going there. Yes, you read that right. The problem, according to Bengalโ€™s Home Minister, is not the violent mob โ€” itโ€™s the journalist doing her job. When questioned further about Islamist violence in Beldanga and the attack on women journalists, Mamata Banerjee did what she does best: โ€ขBlamed the BJP โ€ขBlamed the Government of India โ€ขTook zero responsibility To make matters worse, she sermonised journalists saying they should โ€œnot enter the mobโ€, and shockingly justified arson and violence as a โ€œspontaneous program on Jumma Vaarโ€, adding that she has โ€œno right to stop religious programs.โ€ So now, mob violence, arson, and attacks on women are being passed off as religious programs? This is not governance. This is abdication of duty. This is appeasement at the cost of womenโ€™s safety, press freedom, and the rule of law. When the Chief Minister mocks victims, shields mobs, and silences journalists, the message is loud and clear: In Mamata Banerjeeโ€™s Bengal, lawbreakers are protected, and truth-tellers are punished. How much lower will Bengal be allowed to fall?

#WATCH | Kolkata, West Bengal: AITC National General Secretary and TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee says, "The INS warships and Rafale are yet to be deployed. Do that too. The thing that you should be doing against Bangladesh and Pakistan, you are doing it against the people of Bengal and call us Bangladeshi. So those who talk about fear and trust, people are watching who are creating an environment of fear and terror in Bengal, and people will answer for it." "BJP can try every trick from their rule book. They will fall flat on their faces when the results come out. You don't know the people of Bengal... I will be in the Amtala's control room." "I am not a political astrologer. I have said Trinamool's tally will increase. I stick to my claim what I said one year back. What I said one year ago was that Trinamool's vote percentage will increase and with a bigger majority than 2021. Trinamool is going to form the government for the fourth time, and I will meet you on the 4th." "If voters are being lathi-charged, then how will there be a fear-free election? If you have stopped 30 lakh people from voting, then who is spreading the atmosphere of terror and fear? These people say one thing and do another. They promised Rs 15 lakh and Amit Shah's party built a party office worth Rs 1500 crore. So if you are talking about fear, then they are the ones spreading fear and Didi and Trinamool are giving assurance that you should vote. Use your rights and give Bengal such a majority that in the coming days, these people will be forced to think 100 times before doing injustice to the Bengalis and Bengal."

I am deeply outraged and vehemently condemn the atrocious incident of vandalism at the Jalangi BDO Office in Murshidabad District, carried out by radical elements masquerading as protestors against the Anti-Waqf Law. Let it be known that this was not an act of protest, rather a premeditated act of violence, an assault on Democracy and Governance by Jihadist forces who seek to spread chaos in order to assert their dominance and sow fear amongst other Communities of our Society. Public property was destroyed, Government Officials felt threatened, and an atmosphere of fear and intimidation was created, all under the false guise of dissent. The silence of the Mamata Banerjee Government is deafening. Why is she allowing, instigating and tolerating such lawlessness? Why isn't there any clear statement issued by the State Government condemning this act of terror? Is vote-bank politics more important than the safety of West Bengalโ€™s People and Institutions? I demand that the culprits must be identified, arrested and prosecuted under the strictest sections of law. This would be the primary step to restore order. If the State Govt is incapable of doing it, then kindly seek the assistance of the Central Government. The most SICKENING thing is how Charlie Kirk's entire show and company moved on like nothing ever even happened. Also, come to find out that Charlie Kirk had a CATHOLIC funeral and was buried in a CATHOLIC cemetery. Strange how they hid this information. Almost like it ruins their narrative and agenda that Charlie didn't just "like the architecture of Catholic churches," and shows that maybe Charlie was about to convert to Catholicism like we were told in the first place, but was then covered up. I will tell you that you first need to understand who these people really are and the control and funding behind them. Charlie started to steer away from what they wanted him to do. Charlie started to notice the TRUTH and the LIES and he started to tell the world. The people funding Charlie's company didn't like that and neither did the people under Charlie who were getting paid. Charlie chose the road of TRUTH, while the others chose not to lose the FUNDING of the DONORS and a plan was made that did not include Charlie, but Charlie owned the company. This was a major problem. Charlie was then eliminated and removed and TPUSA continues the direction that THEY wanted to go. Not CHARLIE'S direction or to push the TRUTH... The direction that the MONEY tells them to go and the agenda and narratives they are told to push. It's time to wake up from your slumber and understand that Charlie was assassinated for telling the truth and calling out the lies and corruption. They couldn't afford to be exposed, so they killed him. It's clear as day. cc: Candace Owens

Today, standing before the people of Bankura, I felt once again the power of affection and trust that has always defined Bengalโ€™s relationship with me. Bankura is a living archive of Indiaโ€™s artistic, intellectual and spiritual inheritance. This land cradled the divine journey of Sri Sri Maa Sarada Devi. It shaped the imagination of Jamini Roy, the pen of Ramananda Chattopadhyay, the genius of Ramkinkar Baij. The Bishnupur Gharana, enriched by Jadunath Bhattacharya, carried Bengalโ€™s classical music into a new epoch. The terracotta temples of Bishnupur, the clay artistry of Panchmura, the elegance of Baluchari and Swarnachari sarees, the Dokra metal craft reflect the pulse of a people whose cultural confidence commands admiration far beyond India. Our Maa-Mati-Manush Sarkaar has worked relentlessly to honour this legacy with progress. And yet, there are forces who recoil at the sight of Bengal advancing without fear or favour. They assert that disruption and infiltration exist nowhere but here. Then I ask them how did tragedy strike Pahalgam? How did sorrow descend upon Delhi? Who answers for the families of 57 citizens lost to the rushed and hurried Special Intensive Revision exercise? Who carries the moral weight of their grief? Today, Bengalis live and work across the length and breadth of this country. Yet it is deeply disturbing that in several double-engine states, our people are being harassed and targeted merely for speaking Bengali, and are shamefully branded as โ€œBangladeshis.โ€ When these Bangla-birodhi forces show such open disrespect for our language and subject Bengalis to humiliation simply for who they are, one can only imagine the threat they pose to our mother tongue, our identity, and our rich cultural heritage if they ever attempt to impose their politics on Bengal. Those who claim to wish well for Bengal must first show that they respect its voice, its workers, its language, its icons, its people. Bengal does not tremble before propaganda. Bengal stands firm, speaks clearly, acts decisively. Let it be known if even one legitimate voter is removed unjustly, the response will rise from the conscience of the people in Bengal, and echo with equal moral force in Delhi. Democracy cannot be edited at the convenience of any party. Rights cannot be cancelled by pressure. Citizens cannot be made to stand alone in the face of injustice. We have established 'May I Help You' camps across the state so that no person feels abandoned, unheard or powerless. I did not go to Bankura today to solicit votes. I went to uphold rights. I went to protect constitutional guarantees. I went because safeguarding the voice of the people is my only politics. I stand firmly with the people. Bengal has defeated injustice before, Bengal will defeat it again. Not through hatred, but through the unbreakable force of democratic unity. Joy Bangla!

63,66,952. That is the staggering number of voters deleted under BJP and Election Commission of Indiaโ€™s SILENT INVISIBLE RIGGING. Add to that 60,06,675 cases still pending adjudication, and todayโ€™s publication of the final electoral roll delivers the final, brutal blow in a long-orchestrated conspiracy to disenfranchise Bengalโ€™s voters. What began on October 27, 2025, was never about โ€œclean rolls.โ€ It was a cruel, heartless, premeditated plot to snatch Bengalโ€™s democratic voice. Over 150 precious lives have been lost. 1.36 crore citizens were branded with โ€œlogical discrepanciesโ€ and forced into degrading trials like common criminals. Due process was shredded. Goalposts shifted overnight. Micro-observers parachuted in to enforce deletions. Restrictions on Form 7 lifted to flood the system with bogus objections. Voters deleted from the backend without notice. Living, breathing people marked โ€œdeadโ€ and erased. This was BJPโ€™s deletion quota fulfilled with ruthless precision. But Bengal has stood tall. Smt. Mamata Banerjee challenged this conspiracy tooth and nail, on the streets and in the courts. We did not take a knee. The Bangla-Birodhi Zamindars of Delhi thought they could erase our voice. The people have seen the blood on their hands. And in 2026, Bengal will deliver a total, crushing, unforgiving verdict by rejecting every architect of this DEMOCRATIC MURDER.
