West Bengal has sunk to a new low. Today, at Beldanga in Murshidabad, ZEE 24 Ghanta district correspondent Soma Maity was brutally assaulted and molested by a violent Muslim mob. The mob chased the well-known woman journalist for over a kilometre in full public view. Her cameraman was attacked as well. What makes this incident even more horrifying is that it happened right in front of a heavy deployment of police personnel, who stood by as mute spectators and refused to rescue Soma Maity and her team. This is the state of law and order in Bengal under Mamata Banerjee, who also holds the Home portfolio. And how did the Chief Minister respond? Instead of condemning the attack, assuring justice, or even expressing concern for a woman journalist who was nearly lynched, Mamata Banerjee had a bizarre defence: 👉 She said the journalist should have avoided going there. Yes, you read that right. The problem, according to Bengal’s Home Minister, is not the violent mob — it’s the journalist doing her job. When questioned further about Islamist violence in Beldanga and the attack on women journalists, Mamata Banerjee did what she does best: •Blamed the BJP •Blamed the Government of India •Took zero responsibility To make matters worse, she sermonised journalists saying they should “not enter the mob”, and shockingly justified arson and violence as a “spontaneous program on Jumma Vaar”, adding that she has “no right to stop religious programs.” So now, mob violence, arson, and attacks on women are being passed off as religious programs? I am deeply outraged and vehemently condemn the atrocious incident of vandalism at the Jalangi BDO Office in Murshidabad District, carried out by radical elements masquerading as protestors against the Anti-Waqf Law. Let it be known that this was not an act of protest, rather a premeditated act of violence, an assault on Democracy and Governance by Jihadist forces who seek to spread chaos in order to assert their dominance and sow fear amongst other Communities of our Society. Public property was destroyed, Government Officials felt threatened, and an atmosphere of fear and intimidation was created, all under the false guise of dissent. The silence of the Mamata Banerjee Government is deafening. Why is she allowing, instigating and tolerating such lawlessness? Why isn't there any clear statement issued by the State Government condemning this act of terror? Is vote-bank politics more important than the safety of West Bengal’s People and Institutions? I demand that the culprits must be identified, arrested and prosecuted under the strictest sections of law. This would be the primary step to restore order. Hindus were attacked in Birbhum for celebrating Holi! Under Mamata Banerjee’s rule, West Bengal is increasingly resembling Bangladesh. Yesterday, during the grand celebration of Dol Purnima and Holi in Anaipur village, under Kirnahar police station in the Nanur Assembly constituency, a violent attack took place. The attack was led by a local Trinamool Panchayat member, where Muslims targeted Hindus for chanting “Jai Shri Ram” and even questioned, “How dare you raise this slogan?” (as heard in the video). Shockingly, despite the presence of police, the attacks escalated, and instead of preventing the violence, law enforcement reportedly shielded the attackers. Videos from the incident show Hindus claiming they were assaulted while the police stood by. In Anuradha Bhasin v. Union of India, the Supreme Court ruled that indefinite internet restrictions are illegal, and any shutdown must meet the tests of necessity and proportionality. The most SICKENING thing is how Charlie Kirk's entire show and company moved on like nothing ever even happened. Also, come to find out that Charlie Kirk had a CATHOLIC funeral and was buried in a CATHOLIC cemetery. Strange how they hid this information. Almost like it ruins their narrative and agenda that Charlie didn't just "like the architecture of Catholic churches," and shows that maybe Charlie was about to convert to Catholicism like we were told in the first place, but was then covered up. I will tell you that you first need to understand who these people really are and the control and funding behind them. Charlie started to steer away from what they wanted him to do. Charlie started to notice the TRUTH and the LIES and he started to tell the world. The people funding Charlie's company didn't like that and neither did the people under Charlie who were getting paid. Charlie chose the road of TRUTH, while the others chose not to lose the FUNDING of the DONORS and a plan was made that did not include Charlie, but Charlie owned the company. This was a major problem. Charlie was then eliminated and removed and TPUSA continues the direction that THEY wanted to go. Not CHARLIE'S direction or to push the TRUTH... Today, standing before the people of Bankura, I felt once again the power of affection and trust that has always defined Bengal’s relationship with me. Bankura is a living archive of India’s artistic, intellectual and spiritual inheritance. This land cradled the divine journey of Sri Sri Maa Sarada Devi. It shaped the imagination of Jamini Roy, the pen of Ramananda Chattopadhyay, the genius of Ramkinkar Baij. The Bishnupur Gharana, enriched by Jadunath Bhattacharya, carried Bengal’s classical music into a new epoch. The terracotta temples of Bishnupur, the clay artistry of Panchmura, the elegance of Baluchari and Swarnachari sarees, the Dokra metal craft reflect the pulse of a people whose cultural confidence commands admiration far beyond India. Our Maa-Mati-Manush Sarkaar has worked relentlessly to honour this legacy with progress. And yet, there are forces who recoil at the sight of Bengal advancing without fear or favour.
