Thanks Jim for your work, your friendship and your dedication to MSU baseball. Your call of my grand slam gives me chills every time. You’re the best! I will miss joining you on the air during my visits to Starkville.

Jim is a tremendous human and has been such a resource for MSU. Thanks for all these years of making MSU a better place. I was telling Linda this morning that I remember first meeting Jim in 1980 when he was a salesman at a local radio station calling on us at Southern HI Fi.

Just learning of your retirement is a bit of a shock. Thank you for being the voice of Mississippi State Baseball for so many years. I have always been stirred by the passion with which you told us what was happening in a game.

@jimellismsu Thank You Jim for ALL you have done for Our baseball program. I have so many recordings of you calling the play by plays. No one will ever replace you. I’m very Blessed for the times you were here. Most of all I am thankful for your friendship.
