Man United head coach Michael Carrick has confirmed his starting midfield for tomorrow’s first Premier League game against Hull City. 🗣️ Michael Carrick: “I will go with a midfield of Andrey, who has done well so far in pre-season, playing well in that number 6 role, then Tielemans and Bruno Fernandes alongside him. They have a good connection together, and obviously Kobbie would have been a good fit too, but he just started training last week, so we will see if he will play in the second half.”

🚨 I'm hearing Michael Carrick wants us to dominate games with possession, and I genuinely can't wait to watch it. But I honestly feel sorry for any Premier League or Champions League team that we decides to sit deep and hit them on the counter. Teams like Man City or Arsenal will be in real trouble. With Rashford, Mbeumo, Benjamin Šeško and Cunha running at you, plus Bruno Fernandes and Tielemans picking those killer long and short passes... good luck stopping that.
