San Diego is known for beaches, tacos and good weather, but one of the strangest things in the city is sitting right in the middle of Balboa Park. The Spreckels Organ Pavilion is home to the world’s largest outdoor pipe organ. It has more than 4,500 pipes and was built for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition. More than 100 years later, it’s still played outside. That alone is worth seeing, but Balboa Park has a lot more going on. The exposition left behind plazas, arcades, gardens and Spanish-style buildings that still shape the park today. You can spend a few hours walking around without ever feeling like you need to rush from one attraction to the next. There are museums, gardens, courtyards and the House of Pacific Relations, where cottages represent more than 30 different cultural groups. On some weekends, those cottages host music, food and cultural events. Then there’s Point Loma. At Cabrillo National Monument, you can stand above San Diego Bay, visit the Old Point Loma Lighthouse and head down toward the tide pools along the coast. The lighthouse dates to 1855, and when the tide is low, the rocks below open up enough to see crabs, mussels, anemones and other marine life. That’s what makes San Diego interesting. You can spend the morning in Balboa Park, hear a pipe organ playing outside in the afternoon, then finish the day looking out over the Pacific from Point Loma. The beaches are great. From Cádiz to Gibraltar is a journey through time. Disembarking the Queen Victoria to stroll through Cadiz, Western Europe’s oldest city, was a perfect start to my 24 hours in the region. I wandered through narrow, ancient streets towards the vibrant food market teeming with seafood and local cuisine and marvelled at the cathedral towers which offer panoramic views. Next time I will climb to the top but my driver was waiting…. John collected me for the two-hour journey down the Andalusian coast to Gibraltar — a British outpost with a Mediterranean soul. I hadn’t visited for more than 20 years but John has family connections and he spent summer’s there as a child so I was well armed with inside information - including how Gibraltar is claiming land from the sea to build affordable housing. A row of sleek, grey-toned apartment towers was one of the first sights to greet me as we emerged from the tunnel below the airport runway - also a new edition since I last visited. I had been torn between accommodation at the iconic Rock Hotel or the sleek Sunborn Gibraltar, a super yacht hotel. Choosing to stay at the Rock but visit the Sunborn for a cocktail by the pool it was clear I had made the right decision nb: Franco’s defiant decision to construct a sewage plant near the border still impacts the marina when the wind is in the wrong direction! No visit would be complete without a trip on the cable car. Top tip: buy your ticket online to avoid the lengthy queues but remember to print it out. Atop the rock you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views and monkey mischief. A walk down Main Street brought me to the poignant Trafalgar Cemetery where some of Nelson’s men rest after succumbing at the Battle of Trafalgar of 1805. July 4th, 2030. In just four years, almost every part of America will be reachable by an autonomous car. People don't believe me when I say that, but it's already happened for me. In fact, I've probably driven through your community by my robot. Which gets me to a new point. I've been all over this country with my robot, and there are some places that are stunningly beautiful: Wyoming, Montana, Alaska, California, and Utah. Even the East Coast has stunning natural beauty in places like Maine and New Hampshire. It's different than Yosemite National Park, of course, but they have their own national park up there that is really nice. Someday you're going to pay a cheap price for a thrill ride ticket. Yesterday, I did basically San Jose to San Diego in one drive along the coast. This is a way better drive than going to Disneyland and riding the Matterhorn. Disneyland costs something like $150 or more per person; for a family of three or four people, that gets expensive. It’s cheaper to take an autonomous car and buy a box of strawberries. Also coming in 2030, you're probably going to be wearing a pair of glasses. I know you hate the idea; I have to wear glasses and I hate the idea too. But I've seen the prototypes in the labs and they are so stunning that someday a company is going to bring a product to market that makes us all go, "Oh." I still believe that company is Apple. There’s a reason for that: they own exclusive rights to Formula One. A lot of people watch Formula One (I watch it myself, though I'm not rich enough to go many times). Someday you're going to have a 3D track on your kitchen counter and you'll be watching the race in a whole new, mind-blowing way. You're going to show it to all your guests at your Fourth of July party and they’re all going to want one. By 2030, the question isn't whether I have a robot in my house. I already have a couple of robots, like the Matic robot that cleans our floors, and I’ll probably have another one by the end of this year. I'm talking about a humanoid. The real question is: how many humanoids will be in my house at my Fourth of July party in 2030? I could see saving up a little bit to rent a whole bunch of them. Why not? It’s America. Someday soon, you're going to have robots lighting off the fireworks in certain communities. When I lived in Seattle, we had mortars on our front driveway. It's a little dangerous for a human to get close to, so you send the robot. That’s what I learned in Las Vegas when I met the bomb disposal unit; they let me drive a robot around and blow up a bomb. As an American, that highly entertained me because blowing up bombs is just the best. That’s why we all like fireworks, except for my autistic son who can’t stand them. He has shown me a different way, so we go to drone shows now. Regardless, soon you’re going to have humanoid robots lighting the fireworks. In fact, I won’t be shocked if a robot company does that tonight and uses it for marketing tomorrow. Happy birthday America! Hope your day is like a box of strawberries.

I already have a couple of robots, like the Matic robot that cleans our floors, and I’ll probably have another one by the end of this year. I'm talking about a humanoid. The real question is: how many humanoids will be in my house at my Fourth of July party in 2030? I could see saving up a little bit to rent a whole bunch of them. Why not? It’s America. Someday soon, you're going to have robots lighting off the fireworks in certain communities. When I lived in Seattle, we had mortars on our front driveway. It's a little dangerous for a human to get close to, so you send the robot. That’s what I learned in Las Vegas when I met the bomb disposal unit; they let me drive a robot around and blow up a bomb. As an American, that highly entertained me because blowing up bombs is just the best. That’s why we all like fireworks, except for my autistic son who can’t stand them. He has shown me a different way, so we go to drone shows now. Regardless, soon you’re going to have humanoid robots lighting the fireworks. I've been seeing a lot of talk about how CM 15 is "The worst CM to date" and really just general negativity around the state of this CM. I wanted to give my perspective as someone who has felt this is most fun CM in recent memory, using what people would generally consider one of the worst strategies. I know this won't apply to everyone and RNG factors in a lot, but I still think it's good to have the discussion. I started this CM originally with my usual plan on a Medium track around Late OG Nice Nature and double dom debuffers. The plan was to C4 velo bomb with unique and shadow break, using Dober, Red-Shift and Nimble to accel. I used my usual setup Front/Pace/Late, to give Natie the best opportunity to hit Nimble and overtake. While doing practice rooms, I found 2 things. 1) Natie was unable to get into position a lot of the time due to high front lobby composition. 2) When putting my Debuffers at end instead, Natie would have no one to overtake. Now don't get me wrong, she won sometimes but it was clear that every variation I was trying would not be able to catch up with a front or XOguri. So that left me with a problem. How do I close that 3-4 length gap? After talking with some of my knowledgeable friends, there was one mechanic I had mostly written off due to the environment. Dueling. I've always been an avid enjoyer and user of Dueling but really underestimated its power here. The clip on this post shows just how insane Dueling can be on this CM. It's more powerful than double dom for backliners. Now how you force duel to work in your favor? The best answer, a second ace. I know for a lot of solo ace players this is a non-starter, but I feel for this CM as a backliner, Dueling is the best weapon we have to win. And having a second ace drastically increases your chances to duel with each other, giving you the power you need to catch up. The second piece to the puzzle was going back to my CM7 roots and stacking final straight velocity. Normally you have to stack a lot of mid game to keep up with the pack to stay in position, but I felt that saccing a small bit of it for more late game velocity had more value. There's also probably my favorite skill this CM, It's On. This skill along with good pace up from high Wit really handled a lot of my issues. Keeping a front debuffer that would fall back in the mid game gave me almost a full guaranteed proc of It's On every race. These changes to my team saw so much success in practice lobbies, it was pretty insane to see. I was able to win almost every variation of lobby composition that is common this CM. The only one that would always be the toughest is a full front lobby. Most of my races here would be losses as both Natie and Muteki would not be able to get into a good position to hit Dober/Red-Shift. I will say I have been extremely lucky in my lobby rolls this CM to have very few of them. I've also had a few wins even in those high front lobbies despite the odds being against me. Being able to solve this puzzle to best of my ability was very fun and to see the results has been awesome. My main takeaway would be is, if you have another Oshi outside of your main one that you've always wanted to race but didn't because you were doing solo oshi, give duo oshi a shot. You might find something new that you really enjoy. It's really awesome to watch both of my favorite umas win races😊

This morning, I was returning from a condolence visit here in Lagos. A townsman had sadly lost his wife to the cold hands of death. After spending a good part of the day there, I decided to drive straight to my office instead of going back home first as I had originally planned. Lagos life no dey wait for anybody—if you blink twice, hold-up will use your destiny to do rehearsal. Barely ten minutes into the journey, I was flagged down by the Nigerian police. In true Naija fashion, they used the vehicle in front of mine as human shield to stop me—as if we were filming an action movie. I was about to properly park, but the officer immediately started demanding my driver’s license right there in the middle of the expressway. I politely asked him to allow me park first so I wouldn’t cause obstruction, but oga said no. Before I could say “Officer, calm down,” traffic had already started building up like JAMB website during registration season. After plenty back and forth, he finally allowed me to park halfway along the Isheri-Idimu Expressway. I handed him my driver’s license. He checked it and returned it. Next, he asked for my vehicle license. I gave it to him. Then he requested for roadworthiness. I handed that over too. Suddenly, his mood changed like NEPA light during rainy season. He flared up and started shouting that I did not give him all the documents at once. I was confused. I simply gave him exactly what he asked for, one after the other. But apparently, in his own constitution, I was supposed to have read his mind and submitted my entire family tree. He began yelling that I was wasting his time. I asked him calmly, “Officer, how exactly am I wasting your time?” The next statement shocked me: “I will change it for you o! In fact, come and open your boot!” At that point, tempers were rising on both sides. I told him, perhaps with more confidence than wisdom, to go and open it himself. But quickly remembering that what Nigerian Police officers cannot do does not exist, I decided to come down and open it myself before my village people would be accused. He searched my boot like he was looking for the missing budget of the federation. He scattered everything. Then he entered the car, opened compartments, checked under seats—searching for what was not lost. Meanwhile, while he was performing his ministry, I was quietly recording him with my phone. When he finally realized I was videoing him, ah! Ladies and gentlemen, the atmosphere changed immediately. Heaven did not fall, but hell applied for overtime. He insulted me.He called me names.He raised his voice. But trust me, it was aura for aura, egusi for egusi, pepper for pepper, back to sender with express delivery. At the end of the day, the devil searched but found nothing on the son of man. No hidden “something for the boys.” Just an innocent man trying to survive Lagos and reach his office in peace. Eventually, I entered my car and drove off, leaving behind the drama, the dust, and one very disappointed officer whose fishing expedition returned no catch.
