An Indian rat snake was rescued from inside a washing machine at a ground-floor home in Azad Nagar, Andheri (West), after residents spotted the reptile and alerted naturalist and wildlife photographer Prabhu Swami on January 3, 2026. Responding around 8 pm, Swami found the non-venomous snake coiled inside the appliance. The rescue was carried out safely without injuries, and the snake was later released into a suitable habitat following standard wildlife rescue protocols. CINDY SEES A SNAKE Last night, Cindy was on the back porch giving Mom’s caregiver an update. Here’s the moment she realizes there was a copperhead snake right beside her! Those moves! 🤣 The funniest part? As she’s trying to save Izzy from getting bitten, she yells, “Izzy you’re an idiot!” It’s not like Izzy heard it because she’s deaf thus the slap on the rear. The irony is Cindy loves Izzy more than just about anything. Eight years ago, Cindy rescued her. Earlier this year, she spent weeks by her side, day and night, nursing her through a life-threatening illness. So when Izzy started getting curious about the snake, Cindy’s first thought was, “After everything we’ve been through with her, this is how she’s going to go out?!” Thankfully, everyone is fine. I was able to safely capture the copperhead using one of Mom’s long-reach grabbers, and my longtime friend Russell Cavender, better known as “The Snake Chaser”, relocated it to a rural wooded area about five miles from our home. Yes, Russell told us to be on the lookout for more. Yeah. What a night! 😂🐍

A woman IPS officer in plain clothes quietly entered the pub at late night and recorded the violations firsthand. Kukatpally DCP R. RitiRaj walked alone into Kings & Queens Pub in KPHB Colony late on Saturday night in plain clothes after receiving information about illegal activities inside the premises. The police officer is said to have personally observed the situation from inside the pub, monitoring activities and recording what was happening firsthand. Air1 Assists TPS in Locating Suspects in Shooting Investigation The DRPS Air1 helicopter assisted Toronto Police Service in the arrest of two suspects in a shooting investigation. On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at around 4:00 p.m., officers from Central West Division responded to the area of Thickson Road North and Taunton Road East after receiving information from Toronto Police Service that two suspects involved in a shooting in Toronto earlier that afternoon were in the area. Air1 conducted an aerial search of the area and located the suspect vehicle in a driveway of a residence in Whitby. Shortly after, the vehicle left the residence and Air1 followed the vehicle into Oshawa, providing updates to TPS and DRPS officers on the ground. At one point, the suspect got into another vehicle, which Air1 began to follow. At approximately 5:15 p.m., units were able to box in the vehicle the suspects fled on foot. Air1 followed one suspect, and he was taken into custody. At approximately 6:00 p.m. Air1 located the second suspect in a nearby playground and he was taken into custody. They all tried to evade us, but unlucky for them, we carried out an effective tactical response and caught them all quickly after. One rider was caught and arrested on Renshaw Street, which you can see in this video, and a second rider, and his passenger were arrested near Rodney Street. A knife was found at the scene and one of the males was in possession of £5,000. A subsequent search of a property linked to one of the suspects led to the discovery of an additional £3,000 in cash as well as cannabis. A NIGHT of bingo turned into a full house of fury after a mass brawl broke out between punters. Shocking footage shows the moment a fight broke out at Club 3000 in Leeds, West Yorks with women grabbing each other by the hair and a man appearing to punch a female in the face. A witness told how tempers boiled over when a man was ejected from the venue. As he left, the crowd reportedly clapped - prompting his female companion to lash out at another woman. The dramatic footage shows women trading blows between tables, as other players desperately attempt to intervene. A man in a blue top can then appears to throw a right jab at a woman, before one onlooker screams: 'What the f***'. A group of woman can be seen grappling with one another, as other bingo-goers desperately attempt to separate them. One witness described the scene as "WWE in a bingo hall". They said: "It was absolute chaos. It was like WWE in a bingo hall. 'The whole place was in total uproar. Women were swinging handbags and pulling each others hair. "Men were running across the tables to break things up but then getting caught in the middle. 'I’ve never seen anything like it in all my years of coming here.' The session, on Sunday night, was temporarily paused while staff restored order. Bingo fans later returned to complete their games. West Yorkshire Police said it was investigating a potential public order crime. A spokesperson said: “We were called at 9.11pm to a business premises on Balm Road to reports of an ongoing fight. A public order offence is being investigated. There were no reported injuries and enquiries are ongoing.”

A NIGHT of bingo turned into a full house of fury after a mass brawl broke out between punters. Shocking footage shows the moment a fight broke out at Club 3000 in Leeds, West Yorks with women grabbing each other by the hair and a man appearing to punch a female in the face. A witness told how tempers boiled over when a man was ejected from the venue. As he left, the crowd reportedly clapped - prompting his female companion to lash out at another woman. The dramatic footage shows women trading blows between tables, as other players desperately attempt to intervene. A man in a blue top can then appears to throw a right jab at a woman, before one onlooker screams: 'What the f***'. A group of woman can be seen grappling with one another, as other bingo-goers desperately attempt to separate them. One witness described the scene as "WWE in a bingo hall". They said: "It was absolute chaos. It was like WWE in a bingo hall. 'The whole place was in total uproar. Women were swinging handbags and pulling each others hair. "Men were running across the tables to break things up but then getting caught in the middle. 'I’ve never seen anything like it in all my years of coming here.' The session, on Sunday night, was temporarily paused while staff restored order. Bingo fans later returned to complete their games. West Yorkshire Police said it was investigating a potential public order crime. A spokesperson said: “We were called at 9.11pm to a business premises on Balm Road to reports of an ongoing fight. A public order offence is being investigated. There were no reported injuries and enquiries are ongoing.”
