The communist accomplished their goal of poisoning our universities and eventually our news media. The country should be cheering for the work the Trump administration is doing on many fronts instead of the doom and gloom just so they can elect more Marxist Democrats.

Always enjoy ur posts, but I think all of this has to do more with out flanking China than actually helping the Middle East. After all, we really donโ€™t need any oil from the ME, so why are we conducting this war? Yes, some may say we are protecting Israel, and that might be true. EU and Asia are much more dependent on ME oil and so, if it is about oil, then itโ€™s their war, not ours. But, hereโ€™s the take. It started after Trump got re-elected and one of his main objectives was to rebalance trade with China and bring back critical production back to US. So, he used tariffs. He also banned critical high end semiconductors. This was devastating to China because the race for AI superiority will be key for global power moving forward. Check for US. How did China respond? By threatening to withhold critical rare earth minerals and magnets. Check for China. Trumps response? Cut off Venezuelan oil. Check US. Trumps second response. Cut off Iranian oil. Check mate Trump and US. Notice how Venezuela came first, and out of the blue? Hit the easy target first. Then the more difficult one that may be protracted. Not accident but by design. China without cheap oil and somewhat dependent on US to get oil, whether that is Venezuelan or middle eastern, is just the sameโ€ฆ controlled by the US. Once again, check mate US.

@BretBaier In my opionion, America needs to maje every effort to keep the Iranian people informed. Quite possibly armed as well. Iranians have proven their desire for freedom. I foresee some type of infiltration to achieve that goal. A tough situation. Shoukd have been pre war tactic.

I donโ€™t disagree with you about the mediaโ€™s coverage of the war but I do believe the war was ill-timed, poorly planned, and we were not prepared for โ€œDay 2โ€. Americans should have been leveled with, allies should have been consulted, and now, in my view, regime change must be the objective.

here's a shorter summary : We need to take the long historical view on the Iran war, not the 24-hour media cycle. The media and Democrats flip-flop daily: one day Trump is a warmonger, the next heโ€™s weak. They view everything through politics, not empirical reality. Iran has suffered a devastating defeat. Its military is largely destroyed, hundreds of billions in missiles and drones are gone, and its command structure is in chaos. The regime is fractured and terrified of its own people. Russia has lost influence across the Middle East and Latin America. China is cut off from cheap Iranian oil. Europe proved unreliable โ€” many NATO allies refused basic support. The Strait of Hormuz threat is fading as new oil routes develop. America fought this war on its own terms with superior technology and avoided endless ground occupations. In the long run, Iranโ€™s nuclear ambitions are crippled, its ballistic missile threat is gone, and its population is angry. This could eventually lead to regime change, much like the fall of the Berlin Wall. Despite short-term noise, the strategic outcome heavily favors the United States and its interests.

Too neat a telling. Ronald Reagan initially downplayed the Falklands War. Margaret Thatcher pushed hard, knowing US interests in Argentina were in play. Only then did Washington shift. Interesting update on Iran

ะŸะพั…ะพะถะธะต ะฒะธะดะตะพ

๐Ÿšจ โ€ผ๏ธJohn Mearsheimer ๐Ÿšจ"FIRED "๐ŸšจDonald Trump No signs of quick end to US-Israel war on Iran First of all, this argument that, Iran is a great threat to stability in the Middle East, and a serious threat to the United States is nonsense. The greatest threat to stability in the Middle East is the United States, working closely together, with Israel. Iran has not started a war, in centuries as best I can tell. It's not a highly aggressive country. The country in the Middle East that aggressive is Israel. The country that has, committed genocide in Gaza is not Iran, it's Israel, and we were complicit. We meaning the United States is complicit in genocide. Twice, once last year in June of twenty twenty-five and again on February 28th of this year, the United States and Israel launched unprovoked attacks against Iran. So the idea that Iran is this great destabilizer in the Middle East is a myth that the United States and Israel purvey. The Israelis and the Americans are now doing to deal with this purported Iranian threat, what you see is we've taken measures that have made the situation much worse. In fact, one could argue that we are going to crash the international economy as a result of this war that Israel and the United States started. I would make the argument that we are on the edge of the precipice, in terms of the state of the world economy because of this war. This war shows no, signs of ending anytime soon, and already great damage has been done to the international economy, and more damage will be done the longer the war goes on. So this idea that, number one, Iran is a great threat to the United States is bogus, and number two, the idea that President Trump, and his friends in Israel are making, a safer and more stable Middle East is a ludicrous argument. In fact, what they're doing is they're putting the entire world, on the precipice of a disaster.

๐Ÿšจ BREAKING: Karoline Leavitt confirms the conflict in Iran will end as soon as President Trump believes Iran no longer poses a threat to America and American assets in the region "What President Trump means when he says 'unconditional surrender' is when he, as commander in chief of the United States military and the leader of the free world, determines that Iran can no longer pose a threat to the United States of America and to our troops and our personnel in the Middle East." "That is, again, the ultimate goal of Operation Epic Fury, to annihilate their navy, to take out their ballistic missile threat, which we have largely done in the course of just 6 days." "And then, of course, to ensure they can never obtain a nuclear weapon, to significantly weaken their proxies in the region that have killed and maimed hundreds of Americans throughout the years." "We've seen the Houthis and Hezbollah have hardly put up a fight over the past six days." "So we're already well on our way to achieving the objectives of Operation Epic Fury." "And when the president determines that Iran no longer poses that threat, that's when that unconditional surrender will take place." "As for the next leader of Iran, the president has said, of course, it's in the best interest of the United States to have a leader that is no longer chanting death to America, that is no longer conspiring behind our backs and lying to the American people and to our government about proliferating a nuclear weapon!"

Alastair Crookeโ€™s (Alastair Crooke) assessment exposes the irreversible breakdown of the petrodollar system that has sustained the Anglo-American financial oligarchy since 1973. Control of Hormuz now rests with a sovereign Iran, forcing the Gulf states to abandon the speculative casino economy and return to real production. The warโ€™s expansion into Iraq signals the final expulsion of imperial power from Southwest Asia and the absorption of the region into the Eurasian development order. โ€œTrump will at some point have to acknowledge that Hormuz is in the power and the possession of Iran and that they will charge fees for passage through what is not international waters but the territorial waters of Iran. The other water corridors will not be allowed. This will be the resolution. Ultimately the Gulf states, who say they wonโ€™t accept this at the moment, will not have much alternative and will have to accept it. The prospects facing them are quite dark because this is also going to end the petrodollar economy that has brought us all these gleaming skyscraper buildings in the Gulf states. That whole architecture has to go. It will go. It was based on the petrodollar. It was entirely based on the period after 1973 and the huge increase in the price of oilโ€”something weโ€™re seeing a little bit of now. At that point the United States encouraged the Gulf states to deal in oil providing that they traded in dollars and remitted all of their savings back to the United States. That was the fuel for the financialized economy that then broke out in the United States and became even more implanted after the 2008 great financial crisis. This is a completely different economy from a real economy. This is what I call a casino economy. Itโ€™s all about insider trading. Itโ€™s all about the margins. Itโ€™s arbitrage between the morning and afternoon rates, between what is happening in Japan today and what is happening in Japan tomorrow. It produces nothing except huge wealth for the oligarchy. There is no support for that continuing. Overall, in the non-West they wantโ€”and Iran wantsโ€”the Gulf to go back to a real economy, something that provides for the people, that provides things and food and whatever their needs, and has to produce that. Eventually Iran will be a prominent, if not a dominant, power in the Middle East, and the Gulf states will either come to terms with this and change or they will disappear. It will be a different Middle East, and that will have wide repercussions across the region. What is missing from this instinctive analysis in the White House is the other point about what he has brought about and what the White House has brought about. It doesnโ€™t really get through in the Western press much, but the war is spreading. Itโ€™s widening. Itโ€™s not just Yemen. Itโ€™s not just Lebanon. It is not just Syria. It is now Iraq.โ€

#WATCH | On being asked about the West Asia conflict and where the Islamabad MoU stands right now, Senior Journalist, Political Commentator & Author, Fareed Zakaria says, "It's completely dead. It was predictable that it would be dead... Iran has figured out it has a usable nuclear weapon that can be used as leverage, which is control over the Strait of Hormuz...What we are trying to solve now is a problem created by the war itself, and even that has not been solved. In my opinion, the whole thing is a very humiliating defeat for the United States" "It's completely dead. And it was predictable that it would be dead because it is a memorandum of misunderstanding...Iran has figured out it has a usable nuclear weapon, in other words, a weapon that is actually more powerful because it can be used as leverage. That leverage is control over the Strait of Hormuz, and they want to assert that power...To give you an understanding of how poorly this war has gone for the United States, remember President Trump's original goal, which was to destroy the Iranian regime, have the people of Iran launch an uprising, and bring democracy to Iran. That didn't work. The goal number two became the nuclear issue...The desire to get the Iranians to hand over their enriched uranium, swear that they would never use it again, and permanently end the program none of that has happened. The third goal then became control of the Strait of Hormuz, which, of course, was open before the war. What we are trying to solve now is a problem created by the war itself, and even that has not been solved. In my opinion, the whole thing is a very humiliating defeat for the United States" Watch full interview here:

๐Ÿšจ JUST IN: Karoline Leavitt says Iran is doing a lot of tough-talking but can't back ANY of it up "The Iranians are making a lot of threats with their words, but if you look at their actions with respect to their military, they're not as strong or powerful as they were 9 days ago!" ๐Ÿ”ฅ "That is for sure. We have completely wiped out their navy. Their navy is now deemed combat ineffective. Their retaliatory strikes with ballistic missiles has decreased 90 percent, and as their attacks are decreasing, the power and prowess of the U.S. military is increasing." "We are going to continue to completely obliterate the rogue Iranian regime and ensure that they can never possess a nuclear weapon, that their ballistic missiles can no longer threaten U.S. personnel and our assets in the region." "And the mere fact that Iran is now pointing their capabilities at their Gulf partners in the region, who have tried to remain neutral and at peace with them for many years, they're targeting civilians..." "...It just underscores the point that this operation was necessary, not just to protect the American people and our assets and troops and bases in the region, but also to ensure a truly safe and prosperous Middle East for the rest of the world." "And President Trump is the first president in nearly five decades to actually have the courage to do this, and he should be commended for it."

Long read: Iran is a victim of decades of injustice perpetrated by the US and the UK in an effort to control Irans oil. They couped the democratically elected leader of Iran in 1953 and installed a US puppet until the Iranian revolution in 1979. Over 500,000 Iranians have died in the US-Iraq war against Iran. Even more died because of US sanctions. Iran is not a terrorist state. Iran has been forced to defend itself against regime change efforts and colonial aggression from the US and their satellites in the Middle East. The Iranians should be applauded for aiding the Palestinian people in their struggle against the illegal occupation by Israel and decades of injustice, theft and dehumanization. Iran has a long history of standing up to bullies. The Persians have fought the Romans, the Turks and the Mongols. Survival is deeply encoded in the Iranian DNA. A war with Iran would be a massive miscalculation by Israel and the US. Iran has prepared for this war. It has a formidable army and a significant arsenal of long range ballistic and hypersonic missiles. Russia and China would support Iran in a war against the US and Israel. Ukraine in reverse. With the big difference that the US can never defeat Iran unlike Russia which is currently destroying the Ukrainian army and its NATO equipment in the US proxy war. The Rand corporation should have titled its infamous warmongering research paper more accurately: โ€˜Overextending and Unbalancing America and the EU.โ€™ A war against Iran would result in an acceleration of the inevitable decline of US empire and the destruction of Israel. The risk of Israel utilizing nuclear weapons against Iran is significant. It would not lead to victory but to global condemnation and punishment against the Jewish people. Whoever is in charge of the US Govt right now should establish urgent client control and stop the mass murdering war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu - ื‘ื ื™ืžื™ืŸ ื ืชื ื™ื”ื• before itโ€™s too late. Jews everywhere should demand the resignation of this lunatic for the purpose of self preservation. Watch the video below to understand that the so called โ€˜terroristsโ€™ in Iran are simply the victims of endless bullying and deserve nothing but respect from any fair minded person. Resisting evil bullies who want to steal your natural resources is not terrorism.

Thereโ€™s a narrative circulating that Israel dragged the United States into war with Iran, that this is Israelโ€™s war. That claim is not just wrong, it completely misunderands what the entire conflict is all about. Let me explain. For decades, every American president, Republican and Democrat, has said the exact same thing, The Islamic regime in Iran must never obtain a nuclear weapon. And yet Iran continued enriching uranium while simultaneously building one of the largest ballistic missile arsenals in the region. So you have to ask a simple question, Why would an oil-rich country need both highly enriched uranium and long-range ballistic missile systems capable of delivering warheads across continents? Those two programs together tell you exactly what the regime has been preparing for. During recent negotiations, Iran acknowledged that it had enough enriched uranium for eleven nuclear bombs. At the same time, it refused to dismantle its enrichment program and continued expanding its missile and drone capabilities. In other words, Iran was not backing down. Over the past few years, Iran has embedded itself deeply into Chinaโ€™s strategic architecture. Iran became Chinaโ€™s backdoor to the Middle East. China now buys the vast majority of Iranโ€™s oil exports, effectively keeping the regime alive. In return, Iran has become a strategic foothold for Chinese power projection, positioned at the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz, one of the most important energy checkpoints in the world. What weโ€™re witnessing here is something much larger, an emerging alliance between authoritarian powers and Islamist regimes that share a common goal of weakening the Western world order. Some people call it the Red Green alliance. This is about the West. This is about the United States, Europe, Israel, places that are not perfect but are built on democratic values and basic human rights versus regimes that openly reject those principles. This conflict did not start because of Israel. It started because the Islamic Republic of Iran decided to threaten the US, the Gulf States, Israel, the entire Middle East, and the rest of the free world.

Israeli-British Historian Prof. Avi Shlaim: โ€˜The Trump-Netanyahu war on Iran is one of the most UNJUSTIFIED, SENSELESS and FOOLISH wars of the 21st century. There was absolutely no reason to go to war. This is an unlawful war. There was no Security Council resolution that mandated a war on Iran. There was no imminent threat from Iran to either Israel or America. So it was a decision taken by these two leaders to launch an attack on Iran. And the dominant personality here is Netanyahu. Heโ€™s the junior partner, but heโ€™s the real architect of this war. He succeeded in dragging America into the war on Iran. And remember that Netanyahu was first elected as prime minister in 1996. For the last 30 years, Netanyahu has been demonising Iran and calling for a military strike against Iranโ€™s nuclear facilities. But no American president until Trump was stupid enough to fall for it. Now, Trump went along with this plan by Netanyahu, and we have seen the consequences. Itโ€™s been a war that has caused immense damage and destruction, inflicted a lot of suffering on civilians, and not just in Iran, but on Lebanon as well. And at the same time, Israel continues the genocide in Gaza and the ethnic cleansing of the West Bank. So what we are seeing is an Israeli success in dragging America into a war which is damaging to America, damaging to Americaโ€™s Gulf allies, hugely damaging to the international economy, and undermines international law.โ€™ -Prof. Avi Shlaim, Emeritus Professor of International Relations at the University of Oxford Watch the full interview in the quoted post below๐Ÿ‘‡

Pepe Escobar (Pepe Escobar) and Zulfikar from Transition Protocol report that the Mecca Pact is moving from paper to concrete military integration. Saudi Arabia has told Trump directly to get out. Iran is ready. The petrodollar itself is now on the table. Pepe Escobar: โ€œThis is a war for oil. This is a war for an oil choke point. This is a war about an independent sovereign nation that moves energy bypassing the US dollar. This is a war to defend the petrodollar. And this is a war against existential threats to the United States โ€” Iran, Russia and China.โ€ Zulfikar: โ€œPakistan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, in furtherance of their Mecca Pact, have actually begun to take concrete steps โ€” significant concrete steps. They have announced joint military exercises involving all three branches of the military, which are the army, the air force and the navy, and these exercises will be conducted very soon in all three countries. So this is the first step of military integration. The exercises are a first step of military integration, which is really significant. If there is going to be an involvement that invokes the military of all three countries, they have to be integrated, and this is the first step in that. So those people who did not take this pact seriously or thought that, well, this is just window dressing, blah blah blah, nothing is going to come out of it โ€” no, no, no. Our reporting says that they are deeply committed to integrating their joint defenses so that if the death cult continues to have these wet dreams of attacking any one of them, they are not going to get very far. So that is an important part of the news. The other important part of the news is that the message to Trump from Saudi Arabia โ€” the second phone call โ€” was very, very significant: This is our problem, we are going to solve it, we are solving it, get the hell out of here. We donโ€™t need you to meddle. Very clearly. So it was mentioned by Saudi Arabia in the direct phone call. Heโ€™s very direct when he talks and when heโ€™s made up his mind. But it was backed up by the Pakistani negotiators to the people with whom they are speaking โ€” and this is either directly with JD Vance sometimes or with his office โ€” that we donโ€™t want you here. The time has come for you to get out. Now, as you and I know, we are dealing with a malignant toddler. That is my definition of Trump. Another piece of news that I want to emphasize: Iran has a swarm capability of 2,000 fast boats equipped with torpedoes. 2,000 of them. This is in addition to their midget navy. This is in addition to their underground subterranean capability of attacking anybody who tries to breach the Strait of Hormuz. And in fact the word that Iโ€™m privy to announce to you from Mohsen Rezaei is that he actually wishes that the United States will make an attempt to breach the Strait of Hormuz because then that will give him the ability to sink a warship or two and he would be fully justified and that will be the final nail in the coffin of the malignant toddlerโ€™s wet dreams or delusional ideas. So the next few days โ€” Iโ€™m not even saying a few weeks, the next few days โ€” are extraordinarily important because if the final outcome of that is that Trump and the American empire come to the right decision to get the hell out of the region, that will be the beginning of the end of the American hegemony in the world, not just in that area. That will mean the first step towards the destruction of the petrodollar. And when the petrodollar is destroyed, the ability of the United States to simply print money and to finance its debt is going to be over. We are witnessing an extraordinary, extraordinary change in global politics, tectonic shifts; the next 5โ€“10 years are going to be very different than the past 75 years.โ€ This is no longer about one country or one strait. It is about the end of the system that has financed the empire for half a century. The next few days will tell.
