Yesterday in Ijebu-Ode, we were honoured to receive President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, alongside other dignitaries, as we gathered for the 8th Day Fidau Prayer in honour of our revered monarch, Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona, GCON. The late Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland. It was a solemn moment of reflection and gratitude for a legacy that will continue to guide us. May Kabiyesi’s noble soul rest in perfect peace. 🕊️

In Japan, President Tinubu will attend the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) in the City of Yokohama from August 20 to 22. At the end of the TICAD9, President Tinubu will leave for Brasilia, the capital of the Federative Republic of Brazil, on a two-day state visit from Sunday, August 24, to Monday, August 25.
