Not sure of their exact title but these are the security who patrol the streets of the West End. Yesterday, 4 police officers were surrounded by a mob after making an arrest at a demo. These guys stepped in to form a cordon to protect them until assistance arrived. Brilliant.

This young couple brought home takeout hamburgers for dinner. Their son took one look at his burger and had a full-on meltdown. He wasn’t happy with how it looked and insisted it wasn’t what he wanted or how burgers are supposed to look. We’ve all seen these videos where kids flip the switch and start crying and throwing a tantrum. Towards the end of the video, the mom knows he wasn’t going to eat the burger and so offers a chicken nugget instead. Are the parents handling this correctly? Is there a real difference in the way different generations handled these kinds of flip-outs? Are today’s parents getting it right, or are they doing their kids a disservice by not teaching them to regulate their emotions?

Family of Young Man Shot and Killed by Extortionists Wants Justice The family of the young man who was gunned down with his friend wants justice. Litha Govuza and his friend, who cannot be named because he fears for his life, were shot while waiting for their orders in a foreign national's tuckshop on February 19. Unfortunately, Govuza was declared dead when he arrived at the hospital, while his friend survived after being shot twice in both legs. Govuza sustained five gunshot wounds and died on his way to the hospital. According to Apostle Tata Nxesi, the leader of Kingdom of God Ministries International in Driftsands, Mfuleni, Cape Town, where Govuza was a keyboard player, they want justice to prevail after Govuza was shot and killed in front of two young children. "On the Saturday (21 February 2026) evening, after we were preparing for the Sunday service with Litha, the survivor, and others, they decided to drop some people off at their homes. Later, they were meant to go join their study group and study Maths. While they were on their way to their study group, they decided to stop at the local shop and buy food and energy drinks. "While they were still waiting for their orders, the criminals emerged from nowhere and started shooting at them for no reason. We are very traumatized about what happened to Litha, who was a God-fearing young man. A young man who wanted to perfect his Maths and go and study at university next year. Now it is all a dream which he will never realize because they took his life away. Litha was shot in the head five times, and his friend was shot twice in both legs," he said. On Friday, a video emerged of a gunman from a Toyota Avanza, mumbling to himself and saying, "You think I'm playing?" He then shouted at one of the men to get his attention, but when he attempted to shoot him in the back, the gun jammed. One of the accomplices urged the gunman to shoot and stop talking. Both victims were shot in front of two young children who were inside the store. According to sources, the two boys were shot in a case of alleged mistaken identity. "There are groups who extort money from these foreign nationals. These boys who are in the video shooting at those two boys had come earlier to extort money, but the shop owner told them that there was a group that came earlier and took the money. The boys left and came back armed and found Litha and his friend at the shop. They then thought it was the other group that had collected money earlier," two well-placed sources said.

He wanted to make a film about the unseen character in David Lean's "Brief Encounter" (1945) who loans the apartment for the rendezvous of the main characters. He always thought there was a funny and touching character there to explore. He wanted to work with Jack Lemmon again after "Some Like it Hot" and thought he would be perfect for this role. According to Jack Lemmon, he was offered the role by Wilder, when they were on the way to a private screening of "Some Like it Hot" in a car. when leeknow wanted to adopt a cat, he started looking for a cat that's sick so he went to the nearby hospital. there were about 3-4 cats but soonie kept staring right at him so he took soonie home in a box. after he brought soonie home, he kept thinking about the other cats to bring them home too so he called the hospital but unfortunately, they had crossed the rainbow bridge.

Until the bitter end, he tried to have his cake and eat it too. But ultimately, he was operating in two worlds that were never going to align. I don’t even know who watches mainstream networks like Nine anymore. Legacy media is on the way out, and at the end of the day, someone with Karl’s talent and connections has a better shot than most at making it on their own. I don’t think he’s a martyr for any noble cause though; he was a foot soldier for mainstream elitism for a long time. Good luck to him either way.
