@Asmongold To all the idiots in the comment here's some really interesting point. 1) You don't need to play the game to see how terrible is SoD and give your thought about it. 2) He does still play that game.

@Asmongold "Back in the day, you would get fully geared, and then you would do GDKP!" Incorrect for multiple reasons. GDKP practically didn't exist "back in the day" on a large scale. More important, people used to continue playing with bis because it's fun. Now they simply don't enjoy WoW.

@Asmongold yeah and go look at era servers where gold buying and gdkps run rampant and tell me who can afford 15k for a fucking staff of jordan no gdkps is part of the reason I bother with season of discovery at all

@Asmongold Gdkps only promote gold buying further. Yes the root problem of gold buying is bots but if you take away the main reason why people buy gold aka pay to win then I don’t see how this negatively affects the game. Gdkps plagued all of classic

Cata and WotLK continues to thrive and never went below a 60% character threshold because of GDKP. Like it or not, the most active players in classic are those partaking in gdkp. It’s a reason to raid on alts, it’s a reason to do things in the game (means of an end to earn gold to gear alts).

GDKP is the best loot system. The issue with GDKP outside of wow tokens is that most if not all players participating are buying gold against TOS. The WoW token creates another issue where blizzard is actively scamming players by charging double the price for the same amount of gold as a seller would but at the same time they are doing very little to ban players who buy gold which is incentivizing players to buy the gold elsewhere. Anyway GDKP is great. Being paid to play is great.

@Asmongold Travel is slow, money is slow, regen is slow, few people rocking many alts, leveling slow…but supposed to be fast? Went back to retail after 3 weeks.
