'Manthan4Yuva' ignites the energy of Maharashtra’s youth! Glad to be present at the concluding ceremony of ‘Manthan4Yuva’ in Nagpur today. Seeing our youngsters come together with such energy, ideas and aspirations made the occasion truly special. The initiative has given young voices a meaningful platform and brought together inspiring personalities who have led by example. A remarkable celebration of Maharashtra’s culture and youth power unfolded today with 4100 Dhol-Tasha performers and 585 flag-bearers coming together to create a new world record. The achievement has been recognised by the 'Asia Book of Records', 'India Book of Records' and 'World Records Book of India'. Beyond the record, the performance reflected the vibrant spirit of Maharashtra and the confidence, talent and enthusiasm of its young generation. The concluding ceremony also provided an opportunity to recognise young achievers and role models. Doing our bit for a healthier, stronger India 🇮🇳 As an athlete, I’ve always been mindful of what I eat and over the years, I’ve come to realise that small changes in our daily habits can make a big difference. That’s why I’m proud to join hands with the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India, for a special awareness campaign under the National Mission on Edible Oils (NMEO). The message is simple but powerful: Let’s try to reduce our edible oil consumption by just 10%. Not just for ourselves but for our families, and for the country. India currently consumes over 20 kg of edible oil per person every year. That’s much higher than what’s considered healthy and it’s also one of the reasons we spend nearly ₹80,000 crore on oil imports annually. This campaign is a reminder that good health starts at home. And that even a small change like being mindful of the oil we use can lead to a big impact. As a father, I think about the habits we’re passing on to the next generation. If we can make healthier choices today, we’re setting them up for a stronger tomorrow. Grateful for the chance to do my part. Let’s come together to build a healthier, more self-reliant Bharat. The City Boy Movement, despite not being a registered political party, is rapidly emerging as one of the most extensive grassroots political mobilization networks, with a nationwide structure arguably broader than that of some established political platforms, including the NDC. On Sunday evening, ahead of our “Expose the Corrupt” rally in Kween District Lower Belt, I was accompanied by over six Members of Parliament, the LC5 Chairperson, the Resident District Commissioner (RDC), the District Internal Security Officer (DISO), and many other civil servants from the Ministry of Local Government. Together, we visited the State House Skilling Centre in the Sebei Subregion, where I had the opportunity to interact with and address young people undergoing various vocational and practical skills training. I commend these young people for embracing skills acquisition as a pathway to self-reliance, employment and wealth creation. I sincerely thank His Excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for his visionary leadership and for establishing this important Skilling Centre in the Sebei Subregion. This is a clear demonstration of his commitment to empowering Uganda’s young people with practical skills that can transform their lives and communities. A skilled young person is an empowered young person. A skilled population is the foundation of a productive and prosperous Uganda. As we continue our Expose the Corrupt campaign, we shall also continue to ensure that government programmes reach the intended beneficiaries and that every shilling meant for citizens delivers value.
