Pope Leo on Dei Verbum: "Dear brothers and sisters, in our catechesis on the Dogmatic Constitution Dei Verbum, today we considered the profound and vital connection between the Word of God and the Church. Sacred Scripture, which has been entrusted to the Church and is guarded by her, reveals its meaning and manifests its strength in the life and faith of the Church, above all in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. For this reason, the Church continually meditates upon and interprets Scripture because it is the means by which we come to know the incarnate living Word of God who is Jesus Christ. Indeed, praying with Scripture opens the door for an intimate relationship with God who through these sacred writings invites us into conversation with him. As Saint Jerome rightly points out, ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of God. With this in mind, I encourage you to read and contemplate the inspired word of God daily. May the Word of God nourish our hearts and minds and lead us to the fullness of life."

Continuing his catechetical series on Vatican II, Pope Leo XIV reflecting on the Dogmatic Constitution Dei verbum, says: “Sacred Scripture, the inspired word of God, and Sacred Tradition, the living memory of the Church, are intimately bound together and form the one Deposit of Faith. This deposit which contains the entirety of our faith –- doctrine, worship, morality, etc. –- is not static but dynamic for it develops and is more profoundly understood by the Church over the centuries, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Entrusted to the Church, who preserves and interprets it in Jesus’ name, this deposit helps us to navigate the complexities of life to reach our eternal home in heaven. May we become living and faithful witness to God’s word in Scripture and Tradition.”

There’s something unique about the Word of God. Researchers had people read different types of books. History. Engineering. The Quran. The Bible. When they studied what was happening in the brain, only one book consistently changed the synapse connections. The Bible. This is why believers throughout history have said the Word of God is alive. It doesn’t just give information. The Holy Spirit uses it to transform us. I’ve been a Christian for 47 years, and I still open my Bible and find the Spirit of God revealing things that stop me in my tracks. Just recently I was reading Hebrews 2 and could barely move on because of what the Lord was showing me. This is what happens when we approach Scripture with hunger and humility. The Word of God shapes us, renews us, and prepares us for the life He’s called us to live. Follow this link to watch the full episode!

DERIVING PROFIT FROM SCRIPTURE The accuracy of the Bible is not in the archeological flawlessness of its writings nor the personality of the authors, but in its ability to deliver God's intent as far as the revelation of God, Jesus, man, and salvation are concerned. The profiting of Scripture is only derived under the influence of The Spirit of Revelation, which guides your heart to the essence of every story, verse, and expression, captured within Scripture. As open as The Bible is, there are seals. You can only open the book, but only The Spirit of Revelation unlocks the seals, opening you up to mysteries. What profits you is not the verse of the Scripture, it is the light in the Scripture. The focus of your Bible study should center on the love of God, captured in the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ for man (being the object), and the mercy plan of salvation. Why does God allow tragedy? As we continue to mourn the loss of so many lives due to the devastating flood in Texas, this question weighs heavily on our hearts. It’s not an easy question to answer. Here are some insights from Scripture that offer perspective on this issue and highlight why we need to turn to God in times of trouble.

The scripture says, “Is there anything too hard for the Lord?” None of us likes obstacles, but that mountain is there to reveal the glory of God through you. What God started in your life, He will finish. Listen to this new message from Joel! "Mountains Turned to Molehills":

Christianity Beyond Civilization - with James Orr I had a wonderful discussion with James Orr. Dr Orr is Associate Professor of Philosophy of Religion at the Faculty of Divinity at the University of Cambridge. He was also one of the panel members for the Daily Wire Plus Exodus and Gospels seminars, which we discuss in this video. We also talk about our difference approaches and perspectives on Scripture, the current cultural shift and Christianity becoming more mainstream, the risk of instrumentalizing Christianity, Paul Kingsnorth's talk "Against Christian Civilization", and more.

This is the danger of claiming to have Bibles, but never reading them. God does not play games with His Word. Now this man is dead because of his ignorance, such did many others die too in the Old Testament and the New Testament when they DID NOT TREAD LIGHTLY. The word of God is a very powerful book, and if you have influence over people, especially people who are absorbing everything they hear, "little ones" in the faith, you have a responsibility to know the word you profess to claim truths of. Here is the scripture that Joe did not read, and it got him killed. Revelation 22:18-19 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. Joe recklessly running his mouth about Israel not being the chosen place of prophecy, and that was included in the Book of Revelation. Claiming that Palestine was the chosen land of God. A foolish thing to do... because now you're dead.

The YOUTH love Dr Kudakwashe Tagwirei, and Dr Tagwirei loves the YOUTH - the Chemistry was LOUD. For 2 hours, Dr Tagwirei was on his feet addressing young people and church leaders gathered for the UFIC Youth Conference. He narrated how Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa laid hands on him and in 2 hours he was out of hospital. Dr Tagwirei used scripture and his life experiences to advice and motivate the youth into exceptionally productive and wealthy citizens of Zimbabwe and the world. Spare time to watch his full address here. Video Credit: ChristTV

Re: the Christian debate around Calvinism on X right now I believe the following are all taught clearly according to Scripture: God saves sinners by grace, not by finding good choosers God chooses a people in Christ before the foundation of the world People are still truly responsible. Unbelief is sin Christ’s death actually accomplishes redemption for His people Scripture also speaks of God’s love for the world and a wide gospel call Hell is real. Not everyone is finally saved, so every Christian system “limits” salvation somehow Scripture never says: “If God is infinitely loving, He must give the same saving outcome to every person He is able to save” Until God moves, we are dead in sin, not neutral bystanders. Election is God’s mercy to rebels, not God blocking eager seekers Romans 9 speaks of vessels of wrath prepared for destruction. The same Bible shows God pleading with sinners, delaying judgment, and taking no pleasure in the death of the wicked So how do we make sense of all of these paradoxes? This is my all-time favorite clip on the topic:

Pope Leo on Dei Verbum: "We begin our new series of catecheses on the Second Vatican Council by considering Dei Verbum, the Dogmatic Constitution on Divine Revelation. As today’s Scripture reading reminds us, Jesus calls us friends because he has revealed to us everything that he has heard from the Father. It is through Revelation, which reaches its fullness in Jesus, the Word made flesh, that we are invited to share in God’s life as his children in Christ. We are reminded that friendship with God is not only a gift, but also an invitation that requires a response, as in any relationship. To cultivate this friendship, we must spend time with God in prayer, both personally and especially through the Liturgy, where the community gathers to listen to the word of God with the guidance of the Church. Together, let us respond wholeheartedly to the Lord’s invitation and discover in his friendship the true mystery of our salvation."

More footage of street preacher Ollie Sabatelli being attacked in Brighton for preaching the word of God. This is symbolic of the reaction to our Christian heritage that the globalists are having on a global scale. It’s time for us to return to our first love Jesus Christ.

EMBRACING THE POWER OF GOD'S WORD The Bible is not meant to be worshipped, but to be understood beyond the fragile pages. The words written within it are powerful because the breath of God rests upon them. When you approach Scripture, you are not simply approaching a novel. In fact, the Bible is not a Christian novel. While Christian novels can be beneficial, books written by other men of God are also valuable because they are inspired as well. However, remember this: any inspiration for writing spiritual material that does not reference this foundational Scripture must be discarded. Any spiritual work, no matter the author or their experience, that does not refer to the teachings and inspiration from this Scripture is heretical. “There are seven passages—SEVEN passages that have been used to say homosexuality is a sin. How many verses are there in the Bible? And for SEVEN PASSAGES to be made such a huge frickin deal…If homosexuality was such a big deal with God and Jesus, Jesus would’ve said a lot more about it.” The Bible is the inerrant, infallible word of God. 2 Timothy tells us ALL Scripture is God-breathed. No passage is expendable. All of it essential, truthful, and of God. Also, homosexuality being sinful isn’t some archaic thing of the Old Testament. Again, the Old Testament is part of God’s inerrant, infallible word as well, but also in Matthew 19, Jesus explicitly reaffirmed marriage as the union of one man and one woman by appealing to God’s design in creation. Think of all the things Jesus said and did that God didn’t see for to include in Scripture. If it’s there, it’s essential and inerrant. This is a core doctrine of Christianity.

The Prophet’s Reward: The Great & Terrible Day Will Bring a Brand New Dawn! Prophecy is not man’s opinion. Man gives opinions based on what he sees, thinks, feels, assumes, or believes he has learned from Scripture. Prophecy is different. True prophecy is a 'WORD' given by God himself, spoken through His servants, and it must be judged by His Word, His Spirit, and what comes to pass. Please listen and learn. Let this serve as a biblical TEACHING on the DIFFERENCE between the 'Word of God' and 'man’s understanding of Scripture' concerning the Great and Terrible Day. God bless.
