Three years ago, I pitched a business to this Particular organization, and they told me they were not seeing the potential I was seeing. Just about an hour ago, I pitched the same business to the same particular organization, and the chairperson said, “Spirit, let’s get to work immediately on this; this is a big one.” What changed three years ago vs. today? ♟️Audience. My Point: There is an audience for everything. It requires wisdom to understand wisdom. The music is nothing if the audience is deaf. So why give up when you can just convince yourself that you are yet to be heard or seen by the right people? What was treated as useless three years ago is the same thing the same organization is saying: “This will put us on the map in the whole of Africa.” I made it possible. You too can. Happy July🥃.

Just wanted to provide an update. Earlier today, Emilia finished her last chemo cycle and got to ring the bell. She is officially in remission. Her last two MRIs have come back clean. And we’ll now have to do an MRI every six months for the next five years. I’ve never been more proud of anything or anyone in my entire life. Emilia has been extremely strong and resilient, continuing to amaze us day after day. Thank you to everyone who has shown support throughout the last six months. My family and I truly appreciate it. We’re looking forward to moving on to a new chapter.

Family’s everything. I remember only a few years ago how gassed I was that my grandad used to get me this Nando’s 2-3 x a week when we went on a walk, i didn’t myself have the change to eat out like that so was a massive treat for me. I used to tell him I was going to make it big , he didn’t really understand the social media world. Fast forward a few years they back and forth from uk > dubai whenever they want , copped them an apartment here and it’s me getting them the Meals out… only right 💯⭕️❤️

Back where it all started 🧡 16 years ago as a freshman at FLORIDA, I walked into the @ESPNGainesville studios and asked if there were any jobs on the radio. Steve Russell (in the first pic) was kind enough to give me a shot. Today I got to sit next to him again to do what we did so many times while I was in college: talk ball. Years full of hard work, failure, a little success, smiles, tears and lots of lessons learned have gone by but one thing remains the same: I’m extremely grateful for the people who formed the foundation of my career and the place (FLORIDAJSchool) where it happened. What a joy it was to spend time with the future of our business today. You are all stars and I’m proud to call you fellow gators. Your eagerness, dedication and curiosity is a reminder of how lucky we are to talk about sports for a living. It was an honor to spend some time on the campus that built me.

What an exciting day at Wallops Island. The Antonov AN-124 came in from the south this morning, touching down at NASA Wallops Flight Facility at around 10:10 AM. No photo does that aircraft justice — it has to be seen in person to truly appreciate the scale. It taxied to the end of the runway and was unloaded incredibly fast. By the time we packed up and went to grab lunch down the road, it was already back in the air. Total ground time: roughly two and a half hours. Rocket Lab moved fast today. Right after lunch we swung by the AIC — Rocket Lab's Assembly and Integration Complex — and sure enough, they were already loading the PAF (Payload Attach Fitting / Payload Adapter) into the gray building at the Neutron complex. The other containers offloaded from the AN-124 remain a mystery — we never did see where those went. Watching to see if Rocket Lab issues any media briefings soon. Also put together a short video from about 250 still photos taken during the landing this morning — excuse a little jitter, but it captures just how quickly things moved today. What is Chat Control? a regulation that lets online platforms scan private messages for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Framed as child protection. critics call it mass surveillance infrastructure because a system built to scan for one type of content can scan for anything. the timeline: → March 2026: EU Parliament voted to let Chat Control expire. 307-306. one vote. → April 3: the law expired. legal basis for scanning gone. → July 2: EU Council repackaged the same proposal and brought it back → July 7: Parliament fast-tracked it using a rarely-used emergency procedure 331 to 304 → July 9 (today): passed. extended to April 2028. the procedural trick: by using the second-reading procedure, the Council forced Parliament into an impossible position — to block it, they'd need 361 votes, an absolute majority of all MEPs, not just those present. timed for the last session before summer recess. the EU's own Legal Service had already said the proposal violates the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. didn't matter. what it actually scans: Instagram DMs, Discord, Snapchat, Xbox messaging, Gmail, iCloud Mail. I remembered something Milo said a couple years ago and then a year ago. So I went and found the videos. Milo oh Milo you always tell. A couple years ago he said that the big names (Candace and others) were propped up by big donors and their viewers and likes weren’t real.
