This time, I really felt that through his solo work, he made a major step forward. That’s why I described it as the “The birth of a solitary (untouchable) genius.” Yeonjun’s style, what he inherently possesses, his concepts and character included, is completely one of a kind. In that sense, he exists as a somewhat solitary figure. When it comes to his solo work this time, everything from how he refined his body, to each individual piece, the visuals, the concepts, and even the music felt genuinely genius. He has pushed it to a level where you can honestly say, “This is something only Yeonjun could do.” That level of dedication and strictness toward himself is also truly admirable. His dancing is just incredibly cool. Among so many renowned artists at the forefront, 2025 felt like a year where Yeonjun sharpened his own color and character to the absolute extreme. I really want people to watch his music videos and music show performances. He’s unbelievably sharp, and there’s this hint of madness he carries that makes it completely addictive to watch. When you see him, you really understand what “genius” means. Including that sense of charisma, he’s incredibly well-polished right now. Yeonjun is in peak form. Looking at everything. The color, this one-of-a-kind style, and the journey and process Yeonjun has built over time. It truly felt like everything finally came fully into bloom. 👤 do you also share a wardrobe? 🐰 actually, except for underwear, we shared everything, even socks 🦊 no! you’ve worn my underwear many times too! ( 🐰 eum? pfthehehehehe… ah what was it again? 🦊 when the five of us lived together, there was so much laundry and we couldn’t separate them. since we couldn’t do “whose underwear? whose underwear?” so we just put them all together in one place 🦊 but soobin is just not good at telling them apart so he’s used my underwear out a lot 🐰 what gave me goosebumps was that during a dance practice, yeonjun hyung suddenly got serious pulled my pants down and went like “this is my underwear!” 🐰 (so i was like) “isn’t this mine?” (and yeonjun hyung was like) “it’s mine!” 🐰 from then on, yeonjun hyung wrote ‘YJ’ on the back of his underwear. so i’d check before i wear them and (if i see ‘YJ’, i’d go) “ah it’s yeonjun hyung’s” 🦊 but he still wore it even when i’ve written it down! 🦊 so i’d check his butt like this and turned (the pants) inside out and i’d be like “why is there a ‘YJ’?” 🐰 since we couldn’t tell them apart, we have assigned one underwear brand to each member so we won’t get confused 🐰 yeonjun hyung wears CK and i wear a different brand. but as i kept wearing it, no matter how i looked at it, CK looked the coolest 🦊 hahahahhahaha 🐰 so as we started living separately, i bought 20 pairs of CK (underwears). i guess i’ve been keeping it in. If we could all come together the way this music comes together, notes and tones in harmony, no bias, celebrating our differences and co-creating in service of the greater good. What if Beethoven was from the Congo? What would that sound and feel like? Would we still respect his music as much? What about including the African 6/8 rhythm and the proto blues inflections of New Orleans Congo square lineage?
