#WATCH | Siliguri, West Bengal: On submitting a complaint for registration of a Zero FIR against Saurav Das, Abhijeet Dipke, and CJP organisers under sections of the POCSO Act, Advocate Rinki Chatterjee Singh says, "The FIR was filed over an incident at Jantar Mantar on July 20, where the CJP was protesting against the NEET paper leak. During the protest, a lathi-charge took place, and abusive language was used against the country and Prime Minister Modi. Later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted a live video on Instagram, saying he forgave the youth for the remarks and that no legal action would be taken, considering their future. A case should be registered against the organisers under Sections 13, 14, and 15 of the POCSO Act and Section 153 of the BNS for involving children in the protest... Who is funding the protest, and where is the money coming from? It is exactly the work of the 'deep state'. There are certain brokers and anti-nationals involved—people within our own country who do not wish it well. They have all joined forces in an attempt to topple the Modi government..." (04.08)
