Being Dominant means being the One in Control. Some people love it and some hate it, but either way, there is always someone in control and the areas where you are not the one in control, are where you have given that control to someone else! Being the one in control means being the one people TRUST to lead, to be in charge. And for us to hold that responsibility, we gotta be not only comfortable with that role, but to love it! To want it. Control holds negative connotations, yet if it is exerted by someone with positive intentions, it is very healthy. It means you trust yourself and don't need to rely on others to direct you. NOT being in control means chaos. It means helplessness. It means inability to make decisions. Or to take initiatives. It means you are the one that follows. And if that is what you actually desire you have to be conscious of that choice. Otherwise you fall into that role and then wonder why nothing goes as you want. And if you choose to follow, choose your leader wisely. There always is someone in control, someone in charge, someone that leads. There is always a power dynamic. Truth is, we feel safe with those in control. Especially when they show us that them being in that role is positive for us. But so many people trust others more than they trust themselves! Which means being constantly influenced by everyone else's option and advice... which makes then the ones in control of your life! Decide WHO you want to take control when you want or need it, but also choose when YOU should be The One in charge. Developing that self-trust requires radical self responsibility. Which is what people struggle with. Nobody wants to be responsible for anything. And then we blame everyone for why our lives are not what we want them to be. And if you DO want to dominate, start by controling your own Self, your own thoughts, your own life. You can't expect others to trust YOU if YOU don't. Think about it... those that are in control are the people that have the most influence in the world. So if conscious people who desire to create a positive change take more control/responsibility, it would literally change society as we know it.

โ€œYou're not entitled to get what you want. I love you. You're entitled to earn what you're willing to go work for. And that's true in our families, in our parenting, in our marriage, in our companies, in society. If we want it, go earn it. If that's positivity, have positivity. I think and I am a positive person. I am jacked. I am excited. Obviously, you can feel my energy through technology here, I hope. Frankly, think positive people just need to get a lot stronger. I really do. I mean, I don't want to call them weak because people hear that differently but it kind of is. Look, if you want that positivity to stick, youโ€™ve got to get tougher. Not sacrifice your love and your care and your empathy, but you got to get tough. And then we have to figure out how to love the people who are cynical because I don't think there's a ton of bad people in the world and I don't think there's a ton of bad people on teams. But I do think there are people who've been burned out. I do think there are people who have been through things in their lives. They've been through things in their company. They're experiencing stuff somewhere else. For whatever reason, they just kind of got run down and cynical and negative, or whatever. Or they're just wired a little different than we are. And I don't to hate on those people. I want to win those people. They don't have to be like me. They don't have to have my energy. But I want those people on my team. I want to love those people. And if eventually they choose that they don't believe in the same things that I believe in, I want to make it really clear and obvious that they don't want to be on this team because we're not about that. You know what I'm saying? I want it to be very easy, obvious, that, โ€˜Hey I should not be on this team. Because this team is full of very positive people who have great energy and talk to people, not about them.โ€™ And we solve problems. We don't complain. We don't get defensive. We're real. I recognize I'm imperfect and I'm vulnerable to show you that about me. I want to be on that kind of a team. And if there's somebody who doesnโ€™t believe in that stuff, I want to make it really easy for them to say, โ€˜Look, I don't want to be on this team. I don't wanna live like you guys live. I don't want do what you guys do.โ€™ And then I really hope that that person leaves us and goes and joins our competitor.โ€

"You can either produce excellence or you can avoid criticism. But you cannot do both of those. The reason that you don't have certain excellence that you want is because you are afraid of getting criticized. You are afraid of the judgment that comes with it. You are afraid of standing out. You are afraid of being alone. You are afraid of people looking at you. You are worried about what people think of you. There are 2 categories of things in this world: 1) Things that are up to you 2) Things that are not up to you Which category does your reputation sit in? Your reputation is not up to you. I'm the one who associates your reputation with something, not you. You just do things. What's up to you? How you act. Your decisions. Your actions. That is up to you. Your reputation is not up to you. Here's how I know that: You all have a reputation about me and it's not in my control. I get to say and do whatever I say and do up here. I am in control of saying it. I am in control of doing it. The moment words leave my lips, who has control over what is done with those words? You! You are in control of what you think of me. And there's no way everybody in this room is going to think the exact same thing about me. No way. When it comes to exceptional, what we've got to understand is you can spend your whole life trying to avoid criticism and earn reputation, and it still won't be in your control. We can waste a lot of time missing out on excellence we could have been producing if we were just simply LESS trying to engineer what we wanted other people to think about us."

A SLAVE TO YOU. 2001 was her peak. It is easy and safe to say โ€œGlad it was not meโ€ and โ€œI would have done it differentlyโ€. I see. Fame and Fortune is like dancing with a very large poisons snake and they always win. I have had, in a parallel former life, the chance to work with the very famous on their way up. The first thing I say is: โ€œWhat goes up, will go down. Your career, your money (maybe) and your brain (most definitely) and just about every friendshipโ€. This will happen to every single complex and all too human, human, some just do a good just a good job hiding it. No one is prepared for wealth and fame. Oh we all talk a big game, but no one is prepared. And the wealth and fame are a guarantee that when you fall, you fall hard. Oh you have the money to protect your fall but because of it your mind falls further than one could think is possible. You are so alone. Your parents, your grand parents, your siblings, your kids they all become part of what I call โ€œThe Elvis Syndromeโ€. To everything your constellation of folks around you say โ€œYes Elvis, thatโ€™s a real good ideaโ€, to everything. See they assume, even if they donโ€™t say it, that you must be a โ€œgeniusโ€ because they didnโ€™t do what you did and they donโ€™t have the money and fame. They assign genius to you and lesser to themselves. They dare not speak up. They prefer โ€œYes Elvis, have another fried peanut butter and bacon sandwich. You are not getting fatโ€. Long ago your burning starlight chased away any true friends, because even if they were strong to say truth, you believed your own public persona like everyone around you. You can not listen, you are the genius they have some job someplace. You also have just two options to anyone around you: 1) Your โ€œcrewโ€ 2) People you pay And ironically they merge in to one and the same. All see your public persona and all see you as a means to get paid. Oh you go to โ€œpartiesโ€ with other rich and famous people but they are one of the above ultimately. Hierarchy forms around you and they naturally form a protection barrier. You have tantrums as fame rips you apart and you desperately try to become your public persona. Each layer you build to protect your all too human center moves you into more and more isolation. Shielded from real and needed pressures of life you are in your beautiful and well stocked velvet prison. You are now just a vehicle for moving money efficiently and surrounded by people that live off this largess. At the peak you may have advisors and they may seem to help. But they dare not tell you what they see even if they could see it. And most canโ€™t see it because no one is prepared for it so they donโ€™t have any better insight. This spans the enter ensemble of people that are now your satellites from gurus to lawyers, from plastic surgery doctors and fitness trainers. So what now? What if your dreams to โ€œmake it bigโ€? Abundance does not fix a broken soul. And we all have this. Trauma is a great fuel, it will absolutely get you to orbit and you will shine, but trauma in orbit is the breaks that break you and when gravity wins, and it always does, you have no idea how to navigate going down. Trauma is what I have seen build everyone from Elvis to Steve Jobs. Trauma unresolved took them out. I am not saying your dreams are invalid and should not be your goal, I am saying that you donโ€™t get a pass. No one does. And with fame and fortune it is nearly impossible to address it, because your ego canโ€™t fit in a zip code. As you prepare for you fortune, and if you are reading this, you will have one, prepare your mind. Deal with the dark places that drive you. Make peace with the past, the people that did you wrong and mostly with yourself. But in this bargain you will remove some fuel for your rocket. It is the bargain. But it is the better path. We all will dance with the snake. But hopefully will know it. And you may have fame. Just donโ€™t become a: โ€œSlave to youโ€.

A Message to the World I have something deeply important to share with you. I hope youโ€™ll listen, and I hope you share this with others. The world has changed drastically and with every day we are rapidly moving into an unknown world that we have never experienced. We have entered an era where technology is no longer just a casual tool, it has become a force that shapes our thoughts, our actions, and our very sense of reality. Our dependence on it has grown, and with that dependence comes a silent, unseen battle for control. The very country in which you live, thousands, hundreds of thousands and millions died to protect, they stood in front of bullets and bombs to give you the life that you enjoy. They didnโ€™t know you, but they believed in your way of life and the life they wanted for the people in your nation. Do not be kind to the people that try to take that away from you. Be anything but kind. In The past, governments fought wars with weapons, invading nations, shedding blood to claim power and control. Then came the wars of influence where no bullets were needed, only the installation of puppet regimes that served foreign interests while pretending to serve their people. Now, we face a new kind of war. A war of the mind. Disinformation and manipulation have become the weapons of choice. No longer do oppressors need to march armies across borders to control the people of nations that they cannot reach to invade. Instead, they infiltrate through screens, social media, and news outlets, slowly shaping public opinion, radicalizing individuals, and bending reality itself. It reaches you through your screens, your devices, and the media you consume. It is funded by those who do not wish to liberate, but to manipulate. Those who do not see democracy as a right, but as an obstacle and something to be weakened, controlled, and ultimately, destroyed so they can have their way with your world and use you to their benefit. It speaks to and affects you, it speaks to your children and warps their minds as they grow at their most crucial time, discuss the world with them and find out about how they feel about the world around them, it affects your family members, your friends and the people you work with. The goal is simple: to make you believe in leaders who do not serve you but serve the interests of those who wish to control and divide. To make you vote for those sympathetic to the causes of dictators and tyrants. They spread information designed to turn allies into enemies, to turn neighbors against each other, to fracture nations from within. They radicalise individuals, not with weapons, but with words and stories that twist reality, distorting truth, and feeding the chaos that ensues. We have an obligation, not just as citizens of our countries, but as human beings, to ensure that the world does not fall victim to those who seek to control and destroy it through these technologies. Right now, I will not speak about the sides in which I stand, or the governments I support and the ones which I do not. But I will say, the things that I believe in, I spend time, or should I say, I invest time into myself and to knowledge to ensure the things i believe are true. You must be aware. You must question everything. The most important battle is no longer fought on the fields, it is fought in your mind, in your choices, in the voices you choose to trust. Always seek second opinions, do not trust the sources you rely on every day, dig deeper. And when judging the ones you follow, look at the things they do, not what they say. When you see that something is not right in the world, do not turn away. We have a duty to fight with awareness and truth. Those who gave their lives for the freedoms we enjoy today fought believing they stood on the right side of history. They sacrificed for a vision of a world where truth could thrive. And they left that to you to protect now they are gone. The fight for truth begins with you. Stay aware. Me and you... We might not agree, but if we all try to seek real truth, then as humans we will eventually and naturally find ourselves on the same side. We have to find our way back to humanity. We have to fight against the right enemies. I will leave it to you to find out who they are. Find your own truths. But make sure that they are true. I will leave this with you.

๐Ÿ›‘ Burkina Faso ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ซ - Captain with school boys and girls! The young Captain was having a conversation with the pupils, and here is what he saying, โ€œI was telling you a while ago, in school they were telling us that we couldnโ€™t do it here. They lied to us. We grow wheat here, and it works well, and we will develop it. Some people have started, this year, I was able to see people who did it, as part of the presidential initiative, and I was told that in the past, some were able to do it and they produced it well. Currently, we are sowing wheat in some farmlands as part do the presidential initiative. What you eat must be produced here. So, this is why I say that we will teach you many things, and we will review the curricula they teach you. For those who drink coffee, they told us that your coffee, chocolate, it is only in the countries with abundant rainfalls, that here is only savanna, desert, it does not rain, we cannot farm. Again, they lied to us. Itโ€™s not true! Coffee grows well here, cocoa grows well too. There are people here who have the farms here, even in Ouagadougou here, there are people who have cocoa trees in their yards. This means that, chocolate that children envy those from well to do familes can be manufactured here in Burkina and all the children can eat chocolate in Burkina. We found out it is possible. As for milk, why do we have to import it? We can do it. I just want to tell you that there are many things that they never told us the truth about. You guys are lucky, we are now teaching you, and we promise you that we will do all we can so that you can eat your fill. As we say, you will eat well in the morning before you go to school, you will go to school for free, you will eat lunch, you will have fun, and in the afternoon, when you return home, you will have fun in the neighborhood, then in the evening, you will learn and review your homework and sleep. This is the dream we have. As long as the children in Burkina are not in these conditions, our fight will not stop. Ok? (Claps). So, we know these are your aspirations and it is right and legal. Any parent is fighting for this. Even those who do not have children fight in the hope of having children and to take care of them, so that they can live in better conditions, and be better than them. This is the fight of everyone, this is the fight of every generation. We are lucky God gave us everything. Do you know that everywhere in Burkina we can farm? Everywhere! In the Sahel where they tell you it is the desert, it is only sand, we can farm. As for us, we have been lied to so much, it is the brainwashing of the colonizer. He did that so that we may not think ๐Ÿ’ญ. But we finally found out that everything was a lie ( damn lie, emphasis is mine). If God left many lakes in that desert, He knows why. We can farm everything in Burkina, we can do everything, the land is fertile. And there are so many natural things in Burkina that we never planted but they were here, isnโ€™t it ? Have you ever learned how to plant a shea tree in Burkina? You were born and found them already here right? It is there in the wild in nature. You know it is a gift from God. There are many things in the shea fruit. You have the shea butter, that is oil; do you know that there is chocolate in it? There are seven derivatives in the shea fruit. You also have the Parkia biglobosa (also known as the African locust bean) which is a natural fruit. We have many things, it is not only the minerals in the soil. Even with the soil, we were told that itโ€™s ferralitic soil, that it is not fertile, everything is a lie. You see that today there is so much gold in Burkina. But it is just poorly managed. Our mission is to well manage these resources, and to take good care of you, so that you can be in your basic rights, to lead a good life, to go to school, and that we may protect you. And also that you may fulfill your duties, because your duties are very important, arenโ€™t they?โ€ฆ

i am staying in this family despite everything, despite the noise, and despite the times it felt heavy to love and harder to hope. i have seen this fandom break many times, and not once did it become a reason for me to leave or step away. i have seen us at our lowest, and i understand, because every emotion felt here is valid. pain, disappointment, and exhaustion do not make anyone weak. they make us human. my decision to stay was never about being naive or blindly holding on. it was a choice rooted in what i choose to believe. i believed in will and bianca from the very beginning, and that belief remains unchanged. i will continue to support them in every way i can, in ways that are honest, respectful, and true. the fight has been long, and it is not over yet. to those who stayed, who continue to hope, and who keep fighting in their own ways, thank you. your presence matters more than you know. to those who chose to take a break, please do so without guilt. your mental health matters, always. know that this family will always have a place for you when you are ready to come back. and to those who decided to leave, thank you for once choosing this family. i wish you nothing but growth and peace in your personal journeys. as for me, i stay, not because it is easy, but because this family, what i choose to believe in, and this love are worth choosing again and again. A warning to Americans about living under Sharia Law from a woman who used to live in Iran - โ€œIn Iran, you can get arrested for walking a dog and then they can take your dog away because according to Islam, dogs are najis, which means unclean - In Iran, you will get arrested. Not can, will if you're a female solo singer, it is against the law - I Iran, not that you have to wear hijab, but if your hijab is not to the liking of the regime forces, they can push you forcefully into a van and take you to jail. And then things that happen in those jails, let's just say that they're not ethical - In Iran, you are not allowed to change your religion or choose your religion. If you do so, you will be executed - In Iran, they would line us up as children force hijab on us and force us to chant Death to America. I wouldn't call that school. I would call that a cult that is trying to brainwash children into a terrorist mindset. - In Iran, there are stations with regime forces and they can stop your car and see if the person next to you is a girlfriend, a boyfriend, or you're married to. If you're married to them, you can get arrested in 5 years. Imagine that a Big Mac went from $6 to $600. That's exactly what happened in Iran. Well, roughly. I think it's even more than that. And everything. I'm telling you, it's not even the worst thing that's happening in Iran. Every time people request a regime change and they start to protest, the regime shuts off the internet and starts shooting people with military grade weapons, children. Regime forces in the past two to three weeks have killed more than 50,000 people. So yeah, if you have opinions about how Iranians should feel, perhaps you should go to Iran, live with the regime and maybe raise a child or two, and then we can speak about it.โ€

Rick Rubin: "Make what you love, not what you think people will like" "If you want to live in a creative way, which will benefit everything in your life, be a better person in your family, do a better job starting a new business, it's all the same. I don't really know anything about music. It's more a way of looking at the world and wanting it to be the best it could possibly be. And doing whatever it takes to be the best it could possibly be." Rubin shares how his career happened: "From the beginning, I never thought any of the things I'm doing were possible or realistic. I just did things out of the love of them, thinking I would have real jobs. That my passion would be my hobby, and I'd have a job to support my hobby. And it just magically turned out different than that without me knowing it was possible." On why some things connect and others don't: "The stars line up at certain times for certain things to happen. Sometimes you can make something great, and it doesn't connect for whatever reason. Sometimes you make two things you think are the two best things you've ever made. One of them connects with the world. One of them doesn't. And it might not have anything to do with what's in the art. It might be that it came out the same day as something else. Or there was a bigger story at the time. There's so much to it that we don't understand." He continues: "All we can do is make something good and put it out and hope for the best. That's all there is. We never know why things work. Even if you make a piece of art and it works, you may not know why." On talent versus work ethic: "There are a lot of talented people who never make it because they don't have the work ethic. It's not just talent, talent's a piece. And you could argue for some people, the work ethic trumps the talent." Rubin explains what real collaboration is: "Having worked with a lot of bands, I see there's often this friction where people are trying to get their idea in. That's not a collaboration. A real collaboration is when everyone who's there is working together towards whatever is the best thing for the whole. Whether it's your idea or someone else's idea, it doesn't matter. If you're invested in the collaboration, you want the best idea to win. You don't want your idea to win." On what makes art great: "What makes it great is the personal. With all of its imperfections. With all of its quirkiness. That's what makes it great. How you see the world that's different from how everyone else sees the world. That's why you're an artist. That's your purpose in sharing your work with the world." He warns against being derivative: "There are these derivative voices where they're finding what they think other people want to hear, and they start saying it because they've heard other people say similar things that are now successful. Even if they have some short-term success doing that, it's not revolutionary. It doesn't change the world. It doesn't last. The people who you first see and you might not like that you come to like because you don't understand them at first, those are the ones that change the world. Those are the ones you dedicate your fandom to for life." Rubin shares his philosophy on taste: "You can't second-guess your own taste for what someone else is going to like. We're not smart enough to know what someone else is going to like. To make something thinking, 'Well, I don't really like it, but I think this group of people will like it,' it's a bad way to play the game of music or art. You have to do what's personal to you. Take it as far as you can go. Really push the boundaries. And people will resonate with it if they're supposed to resonate with it." He describes creativity as catching waves: "We're really talking about magic. The universe conspiring on our behalf if we let it. Being in this flow of catching these waves that anyone can catch. If you're trying to catch it, you're open to it, you see it coming, you take off on every chance you get. And sometimes the ride happens. It's remarkable how it happens. It doesn't come from preconception. It's not an idea. It's through the doing." Rubin explains how ideas exist in the universe: "Have you ever had that experience where you have an idea for something, you don't do it, and then six months later you see someone else has done it? It's not because they took your idea. It's that it's time for that, and you can act on it or not. The best artists are the ones who have the best antenna for this material that's available. It's coming through. The best comedians see the best jokes. They see them coming. We all live in the same world; the way you see it, you have the best joke because you see it best." He closes with how to stay open: "If we listen to what's going on around us, you can overhear a conversation in a coffee shop, and it is the setup for an idea you're working on. You hear a phrase you don't commonly use. My experience is: when you are open and looking for these clues in the world, they're happening all the time. And they're happening often right when you need them."
