The last few weeks have beenโ€ฆ interesting. I wanted to take a moment to thank you for being part of this movement. Iโ€™ve poured my heart and soul into this music journey, and it means a lot to have your support. I never expected music to become my main thing, especially not music that pokes at the pressure points of society. I was supposed to stick to the academic path. Do the โ€œresponsibleโ€ thing. But life had other plans. And recently, letโ€™s just say Iโ€™ve had certain โ€œofficialโ€ eyes on me. Not fans. Not industry. The kind of attention you donโ€™t ask for, the kind where someone sends you a letter and suddenly youโ€™re re-reading your own lyrics wondering how we got here. Iโ€™m not naming names, but if you knowโ€ฆ you know. That whole situation lit a fire under me. If youโ€™ve listened, shared, messaged, defended me, or stayed curious, thank you. Youโ€™re the reason I keep going when it gets messy behind the scenes. This year made one thing very clear: The moment someone tries to โ€œremind you of your place,โ€ you realise how fast youโ€™re meant to outgrow it. And seek something better thatโ€™s waiting for you. Something landed in my inbox that made me pause, rage and start writing Good Citizen. It was clinical, cold, and extremely revealing about how fragile โ€œfreedomโ€ is when you say the truth out loud or say something that challenges the system. Then I watched whatโ€™s happening overseas with digital ID rolling out, thousands of people being arrested over posts and comments. Now early stages are creeping into Australia too. It all connected. Grateful for the outpouring the past few days. I canโ€™t tell you how motivating it is to have people care so much about Arc. The encouragement, the criticism, the confusion. Took it all in <3 As a thank you, Iโ€™d like to speak more plainly about whatโ€™s happening and why โ€“ we owe it to you: 1. Every person who joined or invested in our company did so to build products beloved by hundreds of millions of people. โ€œWe want to be to the browser what the iPhone was to the cellphoneโ€ has been our rallying cry since Day One. We knew chance of success was low but the ambition made us leap out of bed every morning. 2. Arc is beloved, popular, and growing (4x daily actives YoY). But itโ€™s now clear that what most people love about the product *is also* what will prevent it from reaching hundreds of millions of people in our target demographic (people who spend hours in their browsers each day for their livelihood). Arc is a niche browser, even if we did not intend for it to be so. 3. Luckily, we architected this company โ€“ from company name to investors and technical architecture โ€“ to support multiple products since Day One. See Arc Search. Our favorite brands have multiple product lines in the same category too (Apple, Nike, Disney). Hence our realization: why keep trying to make Arc something it is not? Nobody who loved Arc wanted Arc Max. Arc members just want it to be more stable, secure, and performant. โ€œLetโ€™s just do that!โ€ 4. With Arc as our beloved but niche browser #1, we asked ourselves a simple question: if we founded the company TODAY (in 2024), with everything that we know, what would the browser of the future look like for hundreds of millions of people? Letโ€™s go build *that* product, alongside Arc. A second browser that is easier to use, more focused, and more powerful. All in order to live up to our founding mission (#1 above). 5. Yet none of this wouldโ€™ve happened if it werenโ€™t for the timing (market timing is most underrated startup ingredient). Mark my words: the Web is going to dramatically change in 2025 โ€“ much more than we all appreciate. Crazy new AI & computer-use models are incoming. I promise you that new browsers will be the story of 2025 (The Browser Company aside). Why? The browser layer is the obvious epicenter of AI & Agents because of its unique context, cookies, & apps. 6. To build a breakthrough consumer product (#1) โ€“ like truly breakthrough โ€“ you need a catalyzing innovation or technology. AI will be that for the next era of browsers, whether we win or someone else does. So why us (other than Arc is niche)? Our belief is that not only do you need the browser layer to win, but โ€œthe hard partโ€ is nailing the interface, the interactions, the storytelling. Thatโ€™s our bread & butter. Thatโ€™s the expertise of our team. Now you can see how these puzzle pieces fit togetherโ€ฆ We built something people love (in Arc) and we intend to stick by it. But we also wonโ€™t lose sight of why our team poured so much blood, sweat and tears over the past 4 years into this company: the mission to build a new interface to the internet used by hundreds of millions of people every day. It truly feels like the moment we were waiting for is here and we wonโ€™t miss it. Everything weโ€™ve done up until this point was for this type of window, even if we couldnโ€™t have predicted it would play out exactly this way. Weโ€™re hopeful that more of you will understand why weโ€™re building this second product soon. I feel confident you will once we can show you more of what weโ€™re dreaming up, and once more of the things weโ€™ve heard and seen in the industry reveal themselves soon. We knew chance of success was low but the ambition made us leap out of bed every morning. 2. Arc is beloved, popular, and growing (4x daily actives YoY). But itโ€™s now clear that what most people love about the product *is also* what will prevent it from reaching hundreds of millions of people in our target demographic (people who spend hours in their browsers each day for their livelihood). Arc is a niche browser, even if we did not intend for it to be so. 3. Luckily, we architected this company โ€“ from company name to investors and technical architecture โ€“ to support multiple products since Day One. See Arc Search. Our favorite brands have multiple product lines in the same category too (Apple, Nike, Disney). Hence our realization: why keep trying to make Arc something it is not? Nobody who loved Arc wanted Arc Max. Arc members just want it to be more stable, secure, and performant. โ€œLetโ€™s just do that!โ€ 4. With Arc as our beloved but niche browser #1, we asked ourselves a simple question: if we founded the company TODAY (in 2024), with everything that we know, what would the browser of the future look like for hundreds of millions of people? The more you see Nigeria, the less any of it makes sense. There was a time when honesty & honor meant something, that country is long gone, but we can dream again. Nigerians are incarcerated. But the good thing about miracles is that they do happen. One day, Nigerians will finally get the focused leadership they deserve. People love a good story, & everyone is looking for heroes, someone to believe in. I got too much experience with pain. The last election was a battle, & I was deeply attached. I am proud that I was part of it. It changed me though. Nigeria can make you feel so big, yet so small. Your country has changed, & generally for the worse. But I will continue to fight for all the good stuff. I donโ€™t think the Agbados are humans, no one made a medical examination. They are like hyenas in the wild, hyenas have this characteristic foolishness that slap. "The first method for estimating the intelligence of a ruler is to look at the men he has around him." Now our courage is around back, we have to get it back. The other camp act like A students, but a lot can happen in 2027. Between the A & E students, the most dangerous are the B. Near to greatness, but not enough great to reach it. Destined to be number two. But A students become comfortable, they relax. Pride is their first sin. That election is still fresh on our mind. There was this loud triumphal tone to it. A sort of trumpety-relentlessness & surging-uplifting energy, you could almost feel the echo. Weโ€™ve played the heroes for so long, sometimes we forget we are kids. We are the true definition of Nigerian heroes. We sipped into the consciousness of everyone who dared to listen. We know how to conjure up & orchestrate heroic melodies. Our music is young, we somehow know how to put it together. We burst into the scene & everything changed. Suddenly, everyone was listening to our sound. Nigerians started to notice us in 2022. We took an already existing camaraderie & sort of reconfigured it to our style. Our melody was subtle yet loud, itโ€™s heard to this day even. We are creating the vibes that have the touch of patriotism & heroism. Our motifs are very evocative & sublime, in a very moody way. And that is the versatility of our movement. The ability to take on anything & weave it into something larger than it appears. On Zero 10 at Art Basel 2026 When I heard Zero 10 was coming to Art Basel, the first thing I felt wasn't curiosity about the art. It was the chance to finally stand in a room with people I'd only ever known through a screen and talk about where our space actually is right now. I went in wearing two hats and trying to keep both on at once. One was the curious visitor: how does digital art even get communicated inside an institution like this? The other I can't take off. Someone who comes from the underground core of this scene. I made myself a promise on the way in. No "fuck this, it's all cringe." Neutral. Open. Give it everything before I judge anything. And for a while, it earned that. The first thing Zero 10 gets right is that it doesn't feel like a side fair, even though that's exactly what it is. Visually it holds the moment. Without saying it out loud, it tells you Art Basel is serious about this now. Not dabbling, not hedging its bets. The first works I saw were John Gerrard's triptych of flags, and they set the tone instantly. They're gorgeous. Someone walking in cold might not even clock them as simulations. They might think they're looking at a live feed. That's the point. The room opens by declaring, in the most aesthetic way possible: *this is the zeitgeist of digital art.* Hold onto that sentence. I'll come back to it. Walking through, I slowly understood what Eli Scheinman and Trevor Paglen were actually doing. This wasn't Miami, where every phone in the room was pointed at Beeple's robot dogs and the whole thing tipped into spectacle, which, to be fair, worked exactly as intended. Basel was something else. Didactic in the good sense. A guided walk through the history of digital art, screens and physical works, old and new, woven together until the seams disappeared. For someone like me, who has been pushing back on the flattening, the lazy reflex that files Autoglyphs and Fidenza in the same drawer as 10k flip projects, this was genuinely moving to see. Someone built a room that takes this work seriously enough to give it a lineage. That matters. I don't want to undersell how much it matters. Then I hit Avery Singer's *Shit Coin Maxi*, hung by Hauser & Wirth, and that's the exact moment something turned. It's a good title, or it was. That's almost the problem. "Shit coin" is already dead vocabulary. That word had its currency back in Cobie's peak era, and nobody current talks like that anymore. So a painting made in 2025 reaching for it reads less like the present than like nostalgia for a moment that already passed. I'm not mad at the work. I'm noting what it represents. A blue-chip painter borrowing a word that signaled "now" a couple of cycles ago, hung in the room that's claiming to show us the actual now. The strongest culture of the last few years got made by people with no institutional cover, and what makes it onto a blue-chip wall is the part already legible to the institution, smoothed down into something sellable. So the present wasn't absent from the room. It was here, absorbed, translated into a dialect the fair already understands. Which made me start looking for the other version of it. The one that hasn't been translated yet. The thing that's still hot to the touch. It wasn't there. Not a single artist or movement in the room represented the current moment on its own terms. Someone will say that's just my perspective, and fine. But let's be real. The wildest movement of the last cycle happened on Solana, through meme coins, and out of that chaos came an NFT scene with its own dynamic and a handful of genuinely outstanding artists building a language that deserves a place in the canon. Avant NFTs, Gay NFTs, tongue-licking-the-flame NFTs, whatever you want to call them. That language isn't a footnote. Read properly, it throws new light backward. It's what finally lets the 2021 work and everything before it be seen as something other than cartoon monkeys. The current scene is the key to the historical one. Leave it out and the history you're telling is missing the part that shows the conversation has moved past 2021 bag holders praying for the mass adoption where the world wakes up and decides Tyler Hobbs is sexier than Ida Ekblad. And before anyone reads this as an NFT guy asking for more NFTs: that's the reduction, and the reduction is the whole problem. What's missing isn't a market category. It's a way of working. Artists using the blockchain like a studio, not to mint jpegs but to build whole worlds, weaving AI, physical objects, writing, and community into one continuous practice instead of separate outputs. That is digital art. That is AI art. The two things this show says it's about. Which is what makes the omission strange. Zero 10 sorts everything into clean bins, AI over here, generative over there, a physical piece on the wall, exactly when the work that's most alive is the work dissolving those bins. The filing system is the tell. It organizes the present with the categories of the past. Which brings me back to that opening declaration. *This is the zeitgeist of digital art.* Except those flags weren't new. *Western Flag* dates to 2017. The newest of the three is 2023. The works chosen to announce the present were themselves already the past. Fellowship framed the triptych as a nine-year body of work, the oldest piece nearly a decade old. A zeitgeist on a delay. None of this makes the work bad, but digital culture doesn't run on museum time, and work that felt current when it was made can read as historical by the time it's framed as the now. Is it even one, then? I mean that as a real question, not a gotcha. A zeitgeist is the spirit of a time, and a spirit can only belong to the people living inside it. So what happens when the previous generation is the one interpreting what the current generation's culture looks like? Does it stay a zeitgeist, or quietly become a retrospective wearing the zeitgeist's clothes? You named the whole platform after Malevich's *0,10*, the show where Suprematism reduced everything to zero and started over. You set your own bar at rupture. And the one thing the room didn't show me was the rupture happening outside its walls. This isn't sentiment, either. The last Art Basel and UBS survey put it plainly: Millennials and Gen Z now make up roughly three-quarters of high-net-worth collectors, and more than half of those collectors bought a digital work in the past year. The new generation isn't the future of this market. It's the present tense. Defining their culture for them, from above, doesn't just feel off. It misreads the room it's standing in. So let me end where my excitement actually lives. For years, the part of Art Basel I loved most wasn't the main fair. It was Liste. The young galleries, the disruptive positions, the work that hadn't been sorted or priced or canonized yet. That's where you went to feel something. Zero 10 could be that. It has the bones to become the room that hits you awake before the main halls lull you back to sleep. The cold water before the warm bath. The place you walk through first, get rattled, feel your pulse, and only then go get comfortable. That's the highest thing I can imagine for it, and it's within reach. The frame is right. The seriousness is right. What's missing is the nerve to let the people making the present define what it looks like. Get that part right, and Zero 10 won't be showing us the zeitgeist. It'll be where the zeitgeist is.

When I was reading Brian Tully, Ken Mello and Robert Cosgrove's affidavits yesterday in the Aidan TurtleBoy Kearney case, I was challenged by an account that was intent on defending Leigha Bathtub Genduso and Kate Peter. Best quotes from my retort; "Number one, Steph, please address the factโ€”please address why Kate Peterโ€™s February 24, 2024 email to Ken Mello was not turned over in the 5,000 pages of emails that Robert Cosgrove spent seven months putting together that were between Kate Peter and Ken Mello and Kate Peter and Brian Tully. Why was that February 24, 2024 email not turned over? Secondly, is the fact that those emails were turned overโ€”despite the fact that it wasnโ€™t a full turnover of emailsโ€”in August of 2025 tie into why the Lindsey Gaetani charges involving Aiden were dismissed? Thirdly: is the fact that Kate Peterโ€”now we know from these documentsโ€”directly handled two pieces of key evidence in the Gaetani indictments involving Kearney the reason why, coupled with the August 2025 disclosure of those manipulated email records between Tully and Kate and Kate Peter and Ken Mello, was that the reason why the 2024 indictments involving Lindsey Gaetani were actually null-prossed? Time to answer some tough questions, Steph. Why was that audio of Leigha Genduso not included in the extraction that Brian Tully released completely unredacted in April of 2024? And why have you never said a word about how Tully manipulated that extraction to remove messages from Tully to Lindsey and from Kate to Lindsey before releasing it? And Tully apparently didnโ€™t include Leigha Gendusoโ€™s audio message that is now part of the public court record, as well? Yes, Steph, you canโ€™t address it on merit, you canโ€™t, because youโ€™re not here to do that, are you? Youโ€™re here to vacuously distract with nonsensical emotional rhetoric. Second question: is the fact that Kate Peterโ€”now we know from these documentsโ€”directly handled two pieces of key evidence in the Gaetani indictments involving Kearney the reason why, coupled with the August 2025 disclosure of those manipulated email records between Tully and Kate and Kate Peter and Ken Mello, was that the reason why the 2024 indictments involving Lindsey Gaetani were actually null-prossed? Time to answer some tough questions, Steph. And furthermore, why was that audio of Leigha Genduso not included in the extraction that Brian Tully released completely unredacted in April of 2024? And why have you never said a word about how Tully manipulated that extraction to remove messages from Tully to Lindsey and from Kate to Lindsey before releasing it?
