The attack by Pakistan on a gurdwara is condemnable. Our Sikh brothers have also lost their lives in the cross-border shelling... India's attack in Pakistan was targetted only on terror camps, where terrorists were trained and sent to India. We did not even attack their military camps, let alone their civilians... Our Prime Minister and our forces deserve all the appreciation for this operation..."

INDIAN ARMY MARCHING CONTINGENT TO PARTICIPATE IN SEYCHELLES’ 50TH NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATIONS The Indian Army marching contingent is set to participate in the 50th National Day celebrations of Seychelles on 29 June 2026, commemorating the Golden Jubilee of Seychelles’ Independence. The celebrations will be attended by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi as the Guest of Honour. India and Seychelles share longstanding historical ties. Over the years, the relationship has evolved into a strong strategic partnership encompassing defence cooperation, development, culture and trade. The Indian Army contingent comprises 32 personnel from the Assam Regiment and is led by Captain Aryan H. Deolekar. An Indian Navy marching contingent accompanied by a military band is also participating in the celebrations, reflecting the close and enduring defence partnership between the two countries. Participation of Indian Armed Forces contingents in national celebrations of friendly foreign countries serves as a symbol of mutual trust, military camaraderie and shared commitment towards strengthening bilateral relations. Such engagements reinforce defence cooperation and underscore India’s role as a reliable partner in promoting peace, stability and security in the Indian Ocean Region. We deployed indigenous & modern military technologies to strike deep into Pakistan’s territory and eliminated key terror training infrastructure. We also demonstrated seamless working of our Integrated Air Command And Control System, reflecting preparedness of our forces to defend our Nation against incoming missiles. As Late Gen. Bipin Rawat rightly warned, India faces a 2.5-front war — and it’s now evident that the Congress is the internal “0.5 front”, weakening the nation from within. Between 2004–2014, over 8,000 civilians were killed in terror attacks during UPA rule. Congress not only failed to respond but actively weakened our national security by repealing POTA and diluting the NIA’s powers. In contrast, the NDA Govt has built a robust counter-terror architecture — with decisive leadership, cross-border strikes, and deep investments in defence startups, modern equipment, and border infrastructure.
