It’s called central heterochromia, a condition where the iris has two distinct concentric color rings: an inner ring around the pupil that is amber or golden-brown, and an outer ring that is greenish-blue or teal. This creates a striking radial pattern. Under 1% of pop have it.

I won't cop to the witch part, but I do have this eye. Greenish on the outside, and a mix of colors on the inside.

Everyone in my family including myself have the Celtic eye, but our ancestry is German and Swedish.

Oh me and my son have this! I've never never heard the term celtic eye before, pretty cool. Mine is more like a gold color in the middle of bluish green

Blue/Gray eyes here, effectively zero melanin or lipochrome (<1% globally), with a central heterochromia, Combined global rarity <0.1%. SLC24A4 rs12896399(G;T) & TYR rs1800407(G;G) for the inner golden ring, LYST deletions for the uneven pigment clumping, and TRAF3IP1 rs3739070(A;A) for the light-trapping iris texture. My eyes mechanically shift from snow-gray to light blue based on my shirt or surroundings. It follows my Scottish line, still > 40% Scottish 11+ generations in America. Wow I thought my daughter’s eyes were Hazel but they’re very similar to this. The rings of her eye colours go from dark blue to light blue to green to gold around pupil. Shes English &amp; Welsh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 &amp; has the most beautiful eyes Ive ever seen it’s like looking into a galaxy ✨

Mine is light blue on the outside and dark blue on the inside. My Irish grandpa had a blue eye and the other was half blue/half brown split down the middle. My mom has a brown splotch in her blue eyes. 3 types of heterochromia across 3 generations

I've got gold central heterochromia, almost fully Scottish by blood. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 A distant Ancestor of mine did too, it can clearly be seen in a 1630/40's portrait of him. I bear an uncanny resemblance to him all around.

I have heterochromia with green eyes, a dark grey edge and inner orange sunflower. I always was told they were Celtic or Irish eyes.
