@daraoke I'm a fan, but these shouldn't be called folders, they're ๐Ÿชsub-spacesโ˜„๏ธ

@daraoke Yes love this! I have a lot of folders and my spaces are more broad. 1-2 for work, 3 for different personal projects. But if Iโ€™m also turning folders into spaces it gets crazy long. This instead gives me these โ€œtempโ€ spaces automatically. Love it!

@daraoke I like that this reinforces that spaces are for quick switching and that folders are nested underneath. I think a zoom animation of some kind could help strengthen that concept even more.

This is fantastic. I LOVE telling people about how you can turn folders into spaces (and back to folders), but it just feels too committal in a way. This takes that focused win and makes it less committal. I really like it. It'll change the way I use Arc daily. Right now @AndraVomir and I have a larger folder that we move sub-folders in and out of to focus on it and minimize the rest. This will totally replace the need for this. Only request would maybe be to also allow for pinning say a folder/site so it goes to the sub-space (in a section above/below it maybe). Although I understand what I'm proposing could feel quite complex and simplicity is key. Just trying to envision using the example and where I'd feel potential pain-points. I suppose I could just duplicate these pages/folders potentially in each sub-space if I want it to come along. I could try that. (Constant stream of consciousness) Stoked with the idea! I want it!

@daraoke Arc needs bookmarks.

@daraoke Love it! I regularly need to screen-share, and this would help to isolate just the tabs I want to display (while hiding away my other working tabs) without having to create a separate space each time. ๐Ÿ™Œ

@daraoke I'm a little concerned as to what the ux flow looks like when swiping back to other spaces, bc a two-step thing to go back to the parent space + the swipe to go to other (maybe we call them sibling) spaces seems like a lot of inertia / inputs for an action that should be simpler

@daraoke @daraoke so this will ensure new tabs open in the folder we're "in"? That's all I'm looking for tbh.

@daraoke I've seen people make folders into spaces but that never quite made sense to me; this, on the other hand, feels like a much lighter version of that (and therefore more useful!) it's a space peek ๐Ÿ‘€
