“He would have killed me without me knowing.” Kumasi-based content creator Mr. Amprah, popularly known as Last Hero, has publicly expressed disappointment in his former content creation partner, Asafo Powers, also known as Killa Ntua, over alleged remarks directed at his parents following his wife’s funeral last Saturday. According to Last Hero, Killa Ntua insulted his own parents for attending the funeral ceremony. The two content creators, once known for working together as a duo, reportedly parted ways after internal misunderstandings within the group. Speaking on the matter, Last Hero said he was unbothered by Killa Ntua’s decision not to attend the funeral but found it disturbing that his former colleague verbally attacked his parents for being present at the event.

He has left behind children; one is under a year old. How will they cope? They have lost a father,” Isack questioned. The family has also expressed concern over the continued operation of the bar where Mbinda was shot, saying it remains open and running. “This case is fresh. When we drove by before we came to court, people were drinking, trampling over Mbinda’s blood. I think Isaac Fayose, one of the most vocal critics of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu among the Obidients, has realized that the President has done far more than what his critics choose to acknowledge. He has openly expressed what many Obidients cannot say because of their deep-seated dislike for Tinubu. This is just one of the many outcomes of President Tinubu's reforms, and there is still much more to come. Following severe storms that led to over 38,000 residents without power for weeks in Northwest Indiana, Gary native Freddie Gibbs appeared on All In with Chris Hayes last week alongside Mayor Eddie Melton to address the systemic neglect impacting his hometown. As of last week, most power in Gary has been restored, but Gibbs emphasized that the prolonged recovery time exposes longer-standing issues with local utility companies and infrastructure neglect that go deeper than damage from extreme weather. He addressed the underlying issues that are highlighted by the demographics of Gary. “We are a predominantly Black city that tends to get ignored.” Eddie Melton also recently mentioned that Gibbs had contacted the city and made a “significant contribution” toward recovery efforts on an episode of The Breakfast Club.

The HSE Drugs Group has recommended that a drug for Friedreich's ataxia should not be paid for by the HSE. Friedreich’s ataxia is a condition that damages the sufferer’s spinal cord, peripheral nerves and part of their brain. The symptoms of the disease worsen over time and while some patients can live into their 60s, others die much earlier. The drug, Skyclarys, has been considered too expensive to be made available – at a cost of €280,000 per patient per year. Director of the National Centre for Pharmacoeconomics Professor Michael Barry told us more about why the decision was made. Craig Coady, whose son Rory died with the condition last year, whilst his second son, Paudie currently has Friedreich’s ataxia, joined The Claire Byrne Show to give us his thoughts on the news.

Warren Pickering, One Nation’s Victorian state leader, has a story of personal redemption. Warren does not deny the mistakes he made as a young man. He openly acknowledges his past drug use, drink-driving offences and failures as a father, and he expresses genuine regret for the hurt those choices caused his children and the people he loved when he was younger. Rather than asking to be excused or judged as blameless, Warren accepts responsibility for his past and asks to be judged by the man he has worked to become. Warren’s character is reflected in his willingness to own his mistakes, rebuild his life, serve his country, stand by his family and face public scrutiny with honesty. Warren says he stopped using drugs before joining the Australian Defence Force and credits his military service with giving him the discipline, purpose and direction he had been missing. He joined the ADF in 2013, held a Negative Vetting Level 2 security clearance, served operationally in eight countries and remains in the standby reserves. That service helped Warren understand that supporting others gave his life meaning and later inspired him to pursue community and political service. His commitment to his family is also central to his story. Warren assumed custody when his children needed care, remained involved in the lives of his daughter and stepsons, and tried to support their mother’s recovery. His daughter and stepson stood beside him at the press conference, while his stepson spoke of the difference Warren had made to their lives, expressed respect for the person he had become and said he forgave him. Warren’s greatest regret is that he could not give his children the childhood they deserved, but the close relationship he now shares with them points to the effort he has made to repair that harm. He has faced painful questions in public, answered them directly and accepted that voters must weigh both his past and the life he has led since. As One Nation said at the press conference, “One Nation does not grow its candidates in petri dishes like Labor and the Liberal Party. They come from lived experience.” The major parties should reflect on their own shortcomings before condemning a man who has acknowledged his failures, rebuilt his life and demonstrated through his family, military service and community involvement that people can change. Warren’s story shows a man who confronted his mistakes, changed the direction of his life and chose not to remain defined by the worst decisions of his youth. UPDATE: And then this happened. In an individual tackling drill, redshirt junior defensive back Zach Pekarek shocked his teammates by going airborne. Pekarek made some big plays for the Bears last year including a blocked punt. Today he had some fun when he carried the ball in this drill. It was one of the highlights of the day as the Bears finish their second week of spring football. Pekarek is from Burlington in eastern Colorado and played high school football at Ponderosa in Parker. He transfered to UNC over two years ago from Nebraska-Kearney. #STBC #BearWitness

Has Prince Harry been humiliated by the Buckingham Palace saga? Prince Harry will not be staying at Buckingham Palace this week, despite reports that he would be. The Duke of Sussex had initially declined the invite, but changed his mind and accepted the offer to stay at the royal residence. A spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex said: "Following RAVEC’s decision not to provide security for his family, the Duke spent last week making alternative security arrangements. Once those arrangements were in place, he was able to formally accept the offer of accommodation for himself over the weekend.” The duke had been waiting for a review by the Risk Management Board (RMB), part of the process by which Ravec rules on his security requirements, but found out on Friday this has yet to take place. A government spokesperson said: “The UK Government’s protective security system is rigorous and proportionate. PDP Backs Wike: Says ‘He Has Always Been There for Us’ The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reiterated its strong support for Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, commending his loyalty and contributions to the party. The Archbishop of Canterbury’s office has withdrawn a peace award handed to Pakistan Ulema Council leader and cleric Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi who previously pledged to bestow an honorary title on Osama bin Laden. Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi was given an award on Friday, the 25th anniversary of 9/11, by Dame Sarah Mullally for reconciliation and interfaith co-operation. On the same day Lambeth Palace announced the withdrawal of the Hubert Walter Award, Church of Pakistan Archbishop Dr Azad Marshall presented Ashrafi with a “Global Peace Award”. In 2007, as head of the Pakistan Ulema Council group of Islamic clerics and scholars, Ashrafi said he would give bin Laden – the orchestrator of the September 11 terror attacks – the title Saifullah, which means “Sword of God”, for “serving Muslims by waging jihad against infidels”. The Archbishop of Canterbury’s office has withdrawn a peace award handed to Pakistan Ulema Council leader and cleric Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi who previously pledged to bestow an honorary title on Osama bin Laden.
