The situation was like thisโ€ฆ yeahโ€ฆ ๐Ÿค: It was when I was going to do the sound check. ๐Ÿค: And the stageโ€ฆ those who have been to this stage, Milk and Love have probably been there. ๐Ÿค: You already know, itโ€™s a stage in a stadium. ๐Ÿค: Which was like, built up, set up, right? ๐Ÿค: And it was during rehearsal, they said, Okay, letโ€™s try a real entrance. ๐Ÿค: Letโ€™s try the timing and all that, right? ๐Ÿค: Normally we would come up from under the stage, but I walked from the back. ๐Ÿค: Suppose this is the stage, right? I am very sad to hear of Natalie Fleetโ€™s resignation. It takes a great deal of courage and dedication to serve in public office, especially in a role like that, and she deserves respect for doing it. Iโ€™ve always had a lot of time for Natalie, and for her lads as well. She actually gave me a bit of comfort a while back, if Iโ€™m honest. She called me โ€œmushโ€ publicly on here, or on TikTok. I canโ€™t remember exactly which platform it was now, as it was a while ago. At the time, I viewed it as a bit of a political point scoring moment for myself and thought it gave me an opportunity to hit one back by suggesting that an elected Member of Parliament was being unprofessional. Looking back though, I think I was the one who got that wrong. The more Iโ€™ve thought about it since, the more it has meant something to me. There arenโ€™t many people in politics who use the kind of vocabulary I grew up with. It made me smile and reminded me of the estate I grew up on in Newark. Iโ€™d never spoken to any of her lads before, and then one day I got a video through on Snapchat from some random lad. I was genuinely about to block him, to be honest! Anyway, I decided to open the chat, and it turned out to be a video message from Natalie, a bit like the Cameo-style videos that I sometimes do for people. It really made me smile and laugh. That was the first and only time Iโ€™ve spoken to one of her lads, and I havenโ€™t spoken to any of them since. It was on the day of the Gorton and Denton by-election back in February. I hope you donโ€™t mind me sharing this Natalie, but I still find it funny now. Itโ€™s a reminder that there are still some very normal people involved in politics. (Nigel Farage certainly isnโ€™t one of them! ๐Ÿ˜‚) Feel free to watch the video below. I wish Natalie nothing but the very best for the future. Maybe one day Iโ€™ll pay a visit to Shirebrook to pick up some new running gear from Sports Direct. If I do, Iโ€™ll definitely pop into the constituency office and thank her again in person. One final thing Iโ€™d add is that I think we should normalise elected Members of Parliament being more approachable and communicating in a more natural, authentic way. Politics doesnโ€™t always have to be suited and booted. Sometimes itโ€™s okay to speak to people like normal human beings. In my view, that helps break down barriers, makes politics feel more accessible, and reminds people that those in public office are people too. Natalie Fleet MP

251129 Mingi, TOKTOQ pop live from his studio, p.2: ๐Ÿ’ฌ Is there any song youโ€™ve been listening to these days? ๐Ÿฅ Iโ€™ve been trying to listen to a wide variety lately - Korean music, foreign music, all kinds of things - and Iโ€™ve been trying to understand more lately. Some songs are actually pretty hard. My crew has been showing me the songs from new artists who are doing well these days, and I listened to them recently while working, but I canโ€™t recommend themโ€ฆ theyโ€™re a bit too strong. Way too strong. The lyrics are intense - how do I even describe it - thereโ€™s no way to explain it. Theyโ€™re unique though. Iโ€™ll listen more and decide. How about that? ๐Ÿฅ Back then - sorry - back then I used to recommend songs. But these days, if something goes wrong, it turns weird and it can become a controversy. I feel really sorry. These days if you recommend the wrong thing it becomes an issue. I think I should try to follow the flow of the times. ๐Ÿฅ Honestly, with my personality, acting mature like this feels kind of scary. My personality makes everyone feel like friends to me, so because I like animation, I want to recommend anime, dramas, movies, music - everything - but these days you canโ€™t just do whatever you want. So I feel sorry about that. I really do. My belief is wanting to stay close to fans like friends, but it feels like a line has formed, andโ€ฆ sometimes that makes me a bit envious. ๐Ÿฅ The company didnโ€™t tell us not to do these things; itโ€™s just how we decided to act. Some people act very freely, and controversies can happen, but they also get closer to fans. That part is true too, but I think this way is right for me. But thereโ€™s one thing I do feel: Iโ€™m someone who shows music step by step and works hard, and weโ€™re singers, and we show you the music we make. In that, Iโ€™m going to be honest and show you everything without hiding anything raw. ๐Ÿฅ When I write lyrics itโ€™s a bit different, but โ€˜ROARโ€™ and โ€˜In Your Fantasyโ€™ - theyโ€™re both strong in different directions. Not compromising on that is cool, I think. Thatโ€™s my belief. So Iโ€™ll smoothly make that for you. โ€˜In Your Fantasyโ€™ is pretty strong, right? But what did I even write? For me it was justโ€ฆ I like gaming and that kind of vibe, and Iโ€™m good with consoles, so I wrote things like that, but why does itโ€ฆ why does it come off that way? You say my smirk is teasing? You say thereโ€™s a demon in my head? I donโ€™t know, Iโ€™m really just too pure, I donโ€™t know anything. ๐Ÿ’ฌ I became an ATINY a month ago. Please give me advice. ๐Ÿฅ Youโ€™ll see the comment section here. Probably many ATINYs and Mingtis will give you advice. Please give them advice. Whatโ€™s the hardest thing? They say just love with all your heart? Just feel it? ๐Ÿฅ Oh but this was really funny. I was on Instagram and I saw Korean fans on KGMA going, โ€˜Oh, itโ€™s Mingi! (Letโ€™s) Bark!โ€™ and they were like โ€˜Ack! Ack! Ack!โ€™ barking. I even commented. It was really funny. But the barking - anything can happen, but the way I want you to bark is โ€˜Ho! Ho! Ho!โ€™ like that. But they were barking โ€˜Ack! Ack! Ack! Ack! Ack!โ€™ like a maltese. It was funny though. ๐Ÿ’ฌ Why do you wear glasses without lenses? ๐Ÿฅ For style. When I take the glasses off, guys like me with plain faces - how do I say it - wellโ€ฆ wellโ€ฆ I can wear them if I want. My face looks a bit empty without them, so I need something to fill that space. ๐Ÿฅ Well, I should dye my hair - Iโ€™ll do that soon. ๐Ÿฅ Is there any year-end stage you want to see? โ€˜Man on Fireโ€™? Okay, Iโ€™ll try to talk about it. โ€˜Hallaziaโ€™? โ€˜Desireโ€™? โ€˜Duneโ€™? What was โ€˜Duneโ€™ again? โ€˜Duneโ€™ (singing a part) is that right? Wow โ€˜Inceptionโ€™? (singing a bit) that one? โ€˜Castleโ€™? Right. Okay, Iโ€™ll try to bring it up. ๐Ÿฅ Iโ€™m going now. Stay well. Everyone eat. Thank you. Iโ€™m leaving.

Eben Etzebeth's post on Instagram: Hey Everyone I've been quiet, but now that my hearing is done I think I owe everyone an explanation First of all, this is not a post to show that I was not guilty, I accept guilt. I made a mistake and I'm willing to serve a suspension which I deserve. I don't want young kids who look up to the Springboks to think that it's OK to eye gouge someone, because it's not, but unfortunately mistakes happen and I made a big one for which I'm sorry. But I'd like to answer the question - why did you do such a thing? It was a mistake caused by my reaction and other factors that played a role. Slide 1: The scuffle was basically over when Wales #7 struck me with an open hand to my chin/neck area, you can see me looking at the Assistant Referee and waiting for a reaction from him (it happened fast and it's understandable that he didn't see it) without reacting yet, I got another pull on my jersey, before I go in with the similar type of action. Slide 2: You can clearly see my first point of contact is against his shoulder with an open hand, just like he did, except he got me on the chin. Another thing worth mentioning, when he struck me, I was standing still with not a lot of movement or players trying to get involved. When I went for the same open hand towards his shoulder, you'll see 2 Welsh players changing the dynamic of the entire picture as well as one of my teammates pulling Wales #7 around his neck away from my hand and where my force is going. Slide 3: Another Camera Angle So why did I post this? To try and show people how everything happened and that it was never intentional. I would never do something like this on purpose, I know what the consequences will be after playing rugby for a few years. Thanks to everyone that stood by me and thought the best of me. I'm sorry for letting you and the game down. That was my first red card since I started playing. I want it to be my last. To the people that were angry and upset with my actions, I understand - because it didn't look good on the slow motion replay and hopefully you've got a bit more context now.

today is a HUGE day... my first project as a director is out now!! "kid for life" by lulu la (full music video) shot, produced & edited by myself & Xavier Jimenez featuring performances by lulu la & Avi Julia Brown with assistance from Jackie Kay & Dan Stadnicki title graphics by FishyPond _________________________ almost a year ago, my roommate Xavier & i were tired of doing nothing but auditioning & had so many stories we wanted to tell. we realized that the only thing stopping us from just doing it was knowing that we had to commit 100% of our time and energy - so i decided to quit streaming & we formed a production company. since then we've been building out sets of high quality cameras, amazing lights, beautiful lenses (some being vintage lenses from the 40s and 50s, rehousing them ourselves to fit modern cameras) & other awesome film equipment *and* learning how to edit, color grade & sound engineer to make an all-encompassing production company that does pre-production, production, & post production. we've played just about every film crew role on our projects so far (to the point where on our upcoming short film i was running sound while operating our b-cam while pulling focus while also directing) & it's been such a fulfilling learning experience. since my exit from the walking dead over 5 years ago i keep hearing the question "so what are you doing now?" and for the longest time all i could say is that i was auditioning for new stuff - and i wasn't proud that i didn't have a better answer. i was fortunate enough to do some amazing projects here & there over the years, but none of them lasted longer than a couple months. now i do have an answer i'm proud of! i'm constantly creating my own projects and telling stories i want to tell, and i get to do it with some of my best friends. so being able to visually tell a story like this music video - wanting to be a kid again, when everything was easier, feels full circle to how i constantly felt when i was in that limbo-stage. and don't worry, i'm still acting. this is just another way for me to be able to create meaningful art that you can watch, feel for & relate to. enjoy!

WILLIAMEST PRESSTOUR #WilliamEstFanconPressTour #Flex1045xWilliamEstFANCON ๐ŸŽค: was there ever a moment when you were deeply touched by something he did but never told him? ๐Ÿฆˆ: actually, i can think of two things: one work-related and one personal. on the personal side, ever since we first met during songkran last year, i was out partying, right? and i went to sleep at his place. at the time, he couldnโ€™t go out yet cause he wasnโ€™t of age. but like, it was 3 a.m. and he still came down to pick me up even though he had already gone to sleep. and we had just met. i felt really touched. ๐ŸŽธ: at the time we went out together and i wasnโ€™t old enough to go party, so i just went to some place that kids could go in during the day. then i went home to sleep and phi went out partying. ๐Ÿฆˆ: yes and i didnโ€™t just stay for one night. i stayed like three nights, didnโ€™t even book a hotel, just stayed at nong place. ๐ŸŽธ: and my eyes were like ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ ๐Ÿฆˆ: i started to feel bad. do you know what i did in return? ๐Ÿคฃ ๐ŸŽค: what did you do? ๐ŸŽธ: no, because i had to go downstairs, press the elevator, do a bunch of stuff, so i had to wake up. i went down to pick him up and he was just sitting there on the floor ๐Ÿคฃ ๐ŸŽค: sitting on the floor waiting? ๐ŸŽธ: yes, just sitting and resting there, waiting for me to come down. so we went back up. help him upstairs. not that i helped him up, he could walk by himself ๐Ÿคฃ then i went to bed and from my room, if the door wasnโ€™t fully closed, you could see the sink. iโ€™m the type who eats and washes dishes later. ๐ŸŽค: you soak them first so theyโ€™re easier to clean later? ๐ŸŽธ: yes and then i saw him standing there at 3 a.m. doing the dishes ๐Ÿ˜ญ ๐ŸŽค: washing dishes at 3 a.m.? ๐ŸŽธ: yes ๐Ÿ˜ญ i was like, why did he do that? like it was fine, seriously. it wasnโ€™t a big deal. but maybe he felt a bit guilty or something. but for me, i literally set an alarm, like, โ€œokay, heโ€™ll probably be back around this time,โ€ so i set it and went down to get him. ๐ŸŽค: maybe that was his version of saying thank you, right? ๐Ÿฆˆ: yes and the thing is, he never even told me that he saw me! like, i knew heโ€™d probably fallen asleep or something, so i left the door cracked open because the lights were off just in case he could see. and yeah, turns out he did see. but he only told me months later, like way after songkran. ๐ŸŽค: so he only just revealed now that he saw you washing the dishes? ๐Ÿฆˆ: i only found out because he teased me later, like, โ€œyouโ€™ll end up washing dishes again soonโ€ ๐Ÿคฃ that was how he teased. and back then i genuinely felt a bit bad, so i just wanted to do something to give back a little. and looking back, itโ€™s so funny. ๐Ÿฆˆ: and then in thamepo, there was literally a dishwashing scene, so i joked like, โ€œguess i canโ€™t escape doing dishes for real.โ€ ๐Ÿคฃ

Gege talk about Nobara Itโ€™s too long to post here, so I put part of the translation in the comments. Host:โ€œNext is another first-year student, Nobara. Sheโ€™s from the countryside. She used to live in a rural area, but because she wanted to come to Tokyo, she transferred into Jujutsu High. Nobara uses cursed dolls, and she has a technique that can curse people to death ,the Straw Doll Technique, Resonance. Finally, a curse technique that everyone normally knows appeared.โ€ Gege:โ€œHaha, yes, thatโ€™s right.โ€ Host:โ€œSheโ€™s the heroine, judging from her position. Although she doesnโ€™t really do what a heroine is supposed to do instead, she feels more like a protagonist than anyone else.โ€ Gege:โ€œSpeaking of that, there are many parts I gave up on. There were some scenes where I thought, โ€˜No, this wonโ€™t work.โ€™โ€ Host:โ€œAbout girls?โ€ Gege:โ€œYes.โ€ Host:โ€œLike pitiful poses?โ€ Gege:โ€œThe kinds of commonly mentioned erotic scenes and things like that I thought absolutely not. But I would always end up thinking, โ€˜My parents are going to read this too.โ€™โ€ Host:โ€œHahahaha, I see.โ€ Gege:โ€œItโ€™s the kind of situation where you canโ€™t really say certain things, because your parents are reading.โ€ Host:โ€œSo because you were worried about that, you didnโ€™t do anything.โ€ Gege:โ€œOf course, I wasnโ€™t very good at that to begin with.โ€ Host:โ€œThatโ€™s true. Iโ€™ve also had times when I couldnโ€™t do something because I was worried about my parents. But in my mind, I kind of push that thought away like separating that from reality so from that angle, itโ€™s fine.โ€ Gege:โ€œI think I was influenced by Samura-san when it comes to designing female characters.โ€ Host:โ€œSamura Hiroaki-san?โ€ Gege:โ€œYes. I thought I was influenced by him. Recently, at a train station, I bought again a manga I used to read. Itโ€™s a Shojo manga called Go Hiromi Go. Itโ€™s an amazing manga. I read it when I was young and really liked it, so I bought it again. I hadnโ€™t read it in a long time, and when I did, I realized the heroine is basically Nobara , no, rather, Nobara is exactly like Hiromi. It shocked me a bit.โ€ Host:โ€œIt must be something you absorbed naturally when you were young.โ€ Gege:โ€œI thought, โ€˜Huh? It wouldnโ€™t be strange if I got criticized for this.โ€™โ€ Host:โ€œIs it that similar?โ€ Gege:โ€œHiromi is a country girl who wants to go to Tokyo, so she takes the University of Tokyo entrance exam and she gets in.โ€ Host:โ€œThatโ€™s really a shocking similarity in setup.โ€ Gege:โ€œAnd she doesnโ€™t get along with the people around her, because her goal is completely different.โ€ Host:โ€œNext week in Jump, someoneโ€™s going to go, โ€˜Hey, hey, hey ,you used that exact setting!โ€ Gege:โ€œYes. Because of that, I reflected a bit.โ€ Host:โ€œWhen you read something as a child, you unconsciously get influenced in many ways.โ€ Gege:โ€œThatโ€™s true. I kept saying I was influenced by Samura-san. I always thought it was Samura-senseiโ€™s influence, but actually the origin was somewhere completely different.โ€ Host:โ€œBe happy, boys ,here comes a bit of red!โ€ (reading Nobaraโ€™s line) โ€œA heroine like this usually doesnโ€™t appear like this from the start, right?โ€ Gege:โ€œYes. When I first drew her like this, I was a bit nervous.โ€ Host:โ€œYeah, youโ€™d be nervous. There are many lines that normally wouldnโ€™t appear. Like when she fought with Mai โ€˜Didnโ€™t get enough sleep? Your pores are huge.โ€™โ€ Gege:โ€œYes. I personally think that depicting conflicts between female characters is pretty good from the angle of mocking, theyโ€™re good lines. But once itโ€™s published in the magazine, I think, โ€˜Ah, maybe this isnโ€™t goodโ€ฆ In a shounen manga, can you really do this?โ€™โ€ Host:โ€œLook at this panel ,itโ€™s so cool. (Reading line) โ€˜Why do I have to explain perfection and respond to unreasonable demands? Is your life a job?โ€™โ€ Host:โ€œIn the past, female characters didnโ€™t have panels like this. Usually itโ€™s male characters who take that pose and say those lines.โ€ Check the comment Picture 2 & 3 is the shojo manga

3 years ago, during this exact time, i quit my job. i worked for a company that had the worst environment possible. it was a place that truly did not value people i was exploitedโ€ฆ making way below minum wage, they paid me $500 a week, 9 hour days, no lunch break, no lunch with coworkers, working weekends with no overtime payโ€ฆ i remember they would send me on work trips, and i had to pay for everything. i would get 1 day of vacation per month worked, with MAX 3 sick days a yearโ€ฆ on top of that, they would constantly criticize my physic, bully me, ask me why i even applied for the job if i couldnt properly "write", that how was it possible that i considered myself a "spanish speaking person" if i write it without mistakes... i would go as far to say i was abused mentally. they were extremely old school, i dont want to sound like a cry baby, but i was geniunely exploited. emotionally. but why did i stay? i was young. i thought i needed to learn life the hard way. i wanted to be โ€œsuccessfulโ€, i thought suffering was part of becoming somebodyโ€ฆ its not. some people are just plain mean, rude and bitter. And no job, no "opportunity," no paycheck is worth your health, your mental sanity, your time. well, why am i venting now? because that place closed its doors this week. the same week i left 3 yearws ago. the timing is ironic, but honestly? itโ€™s immaculate. that place was a representation of the system that was put in place to keep us depressed, stressed, tiredโ€ฆ anxious.. that place did teach me to stand up for myself, i wish younger me had learned that in a different environment, but it is what it is. glad that hell hole is closed. so to anyone staying somewhere that's breaking you, you don't have to earn your worth by suffering. just LEAVE. Trust yourself. Build something better. I did. And I'd do it again. enjoy a random day of what the environment was like. and the video of me cleaning out things and leaving it behind. a picture of one of my colleagues who got hives from how anxious she got one day from the way they spoke to her.

War doesn't need an idea; it needs a poor person. Whoever fights doesn't do so because they believe, but because they are hungry. Poverty is what gives war bodies that move and souls that accept death without question. The rich don't carry weapons because they own what they fear losing. As for the poor, when they have nothing left, their body becomes the last thing they barter for. Even mercenaries enter the circle of poverty. If poverty didn't exist, The war died down before it started... Believe me, my friends.. This is your friend Mo and this is a new update.. Tonight was one of the most terrifying nights for us.. The airstrikes didn't stop.. There were several airstrikes on our area yesterday.. And at night the artillery shelling didn't stop at all.. The tanks advanced and the tanks were now 1 km away from me.. Most likely any further ground advance and my area will be next.. So I packed my bags to be ready to leave if they advance further.. I won't leave unless the tanks reach my door.. I can't imagine leaving my house.. I hope that never happens.. But if I do leave I will take as many cats as I can like I did last year when they invaded my area.. I will sneak into my house like I did last year to feed the remaining cats.. I hope I never have to do that.. I saw death several times last year when I came to feed the cats.. My friends and loved ones.. Today is Friday.. My friend and I agreed to go to the American aid point (GHF) south of the Netzarim axis.. I am very nervous.. I don't know if I will return or not.. I don't know if I will be able to get anything or not... Everything depends on luck.. Your prayers and prayers, my friends.. In the video below, you can see how they shoot at those waiting for aid. I wish everyone safety... My friends and loved ones, even if I succeed in obtaining an aid fund, that fund will not be sufficient for a long period... Therefore, the bloody black market is the alternative.. Please stand with me to face these circumstances. I'm going there tonight because I can't keep up with the black market. I'm grateful to everyone who stood by me during these dark times. I'm very grateful to everyone who lit my way during these difficult times.. I can't shake this feeling that I'm not in the right place. Everything around me is familiar, but it doesn't feel like me. I feel like I've been living here temporarily for years.. I hope the war ends and the crossing opens so I can leave this hell.. Please pray for me, my friends.

I earn a small bread and breakfast slash hotel on the outskirts between London and Bristol. Exactly where, I won't say. I was commandeered by the office of 10 Downing Street to rehome refugee families. When the first lot of refugees came There was not one woman. There was not one child. The people that turned up were men from the age of 19 to 30, I would say. I have enough room for about 250 residents. I currently own house a 150 immigrants. Yes, I did receive quite a large sum of money for doing so. Upon doing so, the government told me that I had to fire all my staff, and they will supply their own. And, also, that they will supply security guards. And, so that they will supply security guards for the bread and breakfast. Well, about 2 weeks ago I received a phone call to say that a large parcel will be arriving some time this evening. Right about 2:30 in the morning, I received another phone call saying a parcel has arrived. And can I open up the rear servant entrance at the back of the BNB, which I went down and met some army personnel, which kinda surprised me very, very much? The person in charge, I don't know who he was, colonel or whatnot. Asked me to show him to a secure room within the BNB, which I did. On doing so. They loaded in roughly between 60-70 really big crates. I asked what was in the crates, and I was told that I was not permitted to know. He then handed me a smaller parcel and told me that I will receive a phone call to give me further instructions on what to to. And when to open this parcel, which was very strange. So I've had this personal for about a week in my office. And I started talking into a friend of mine, and he said, well, you know what? You don't know what's inside these parcels. It could be anything. It's your to see whatever's inside your property, you ain't the right state open, and I should have a look what it was. And I was a fating about it for a little while, and I thought, you know what? You are kind of right. If it's in my property, I wanna know what it is. So I opened the small parcel up, and inside was a letter with a list of names and numbers written next to name. On realizing it, each name on the letter was one of the refugees. Then there was a smaller box inside the the parcel. I opened that, and there was a series of keys with numbers on them. So I went down to a secure lock where these crates were. I noticed that each crate had a number on it, and each key had a number on it. So I took 2 keys for 2 of the crates, and I opened up the crates. ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐‚๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐Ÿ, there was a load of AK 47 machine guns. ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐‚๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐Ÿ were a number of hand grenades. Now, when I say this, I'm saying this as you could start a new war off with what Wyatt I was looking at. There was enough ammunition inside one of the crates to easy. Wipe out my little village. Boom. Gone. Easy. Now I'm a bit stuck because I don't want these refugees here anymore, but I'm contracted to house them for a period of time. I don't know if I can give the government their money back and tell them to to be off or not. I don't know. All I do know is in good faith, I cannot I cannot allow these men to have these crates. I am gonna move them away from my property to a secure garage that I have. Not too far, because I'm not gonna be responsible for allowing our government to kill us, the innocent people. Because it's obvious to me know that this is their plan.

๐ŸฆŒ &team, right. i met up with k hyung from &team. let me tell you the story. i just parted ways with him. so, i met up with k hyung. he had told me before, "if you come to japan, hit me up. letโ€™s grab a meal." but honestly, everyone says things like that, and actually following through to the point where you sit down and eat together isnโ€™t that easy. you get what i mean, right? itโ€™s kind of like when someone asks, "hey, are you going through a tough time these days?" a lot of the time, theyโ€™re not genuinely offering to sit down and listen or comfort me. most of the time, it just means theyโ€™re curious about how iโ€™ve been and want to catch up on my life. but when i actually reached out to k hyung, he immediately said he was free today, so we went out for a meal and then stopped by a cafรฉ. and honestly, it was so much fun. even though it was our first time eating together, i felt more comfortable than i do with some of my hometown friends. since he speaks korean well, it made things even easier. and as for me, iโ€™ve learned just enough japanese to at least try and make k hyung laugh. i tried being a little playful, and luckily, k hyung laughed at my jokes. that was a relief, i wouldโ€™ve been embarrassed otherwise. i laughed a lot, and k hyung did too. we ate, and since k hyung likes walking, we walked around a bit too. he started this career way earlier than i did, so he gave me some advice. but honestlyโ€ฆ i donโ€™t even remember what we talked about. itโ€™s like when you meet up with an old friend and later think, "wait, what did we even talk about?" and you canโ€™t remember anything. i was so happy. when i go to apgujeong with hanbin hyung or gunwook, i tend to say, "since weโ€™re in apgujeong, iโ€™ll pay." but when we go often, we just take turns paying. so when i went to apgujeong with gunwook to eat kalguksu, i was like, "iโ€™ll pay this time, but when we go to osan, you cover it." we joke around like that. but k hyung did the same thing. seriouslyโ€ฆ k hyung was really just like meโ€ฆ it felt like if we met a second time, one of us might disappear, like what happens to doppelgรคnger or something, just way too similar. we kept talking, then went to a cafรฉ and talked some more. he said he had never seen someone eat two ice creams before their meal. i had ordered them 10 minutes before k hyung arrived. i saw that the barbecue place had ice cream, so i was like, "oh? they have ice cream? well, then i gotta try it!" and i ordered two. apparently, that was a first for him. i guess itโ€™s not something people usually do. even after the meal, i had more, and then we went to a cafรฉ. k hyung was once again like, "since weโ€™re in japan, iโ€™ll pay." he took a regular taxi for himself, but for me, he was like, "oh, gyuvin, youโ€™re a superstar!" and called a van. i was like, "hyung, this isnโ€™t right. you should take this one." but he kept insisting, "just get in, get in, get in!" so yeah, we had fun and then i came back. and as soon as i got back, i turned the live. that was my day. also, i have a lot of friends now. there's younghoon hyung, jungha hyung, and of course, k hyung, hanbin hyungโ€ฆ of course, my members are a given. i guess iโ€™m kind of a โ€œinsiderโ€ now, huh?

A Yapper's Retelling of Her Crazy Taxi Interviews ๐Ÿฐ ๐Ÿฐ: Taxi drivers tend to talk a lot, right? They ask a lot of questions. So this happened the day before I left for Milan. I got into a taxi, and the driver kept talking to me. Like I mentioned earlier, Iโ€™m comfortable with everyday Korean in such situations, but outside of that, I often donโ€™t understand. It was the same in this situation too, while I was in the taxi. The driver kept talking to me, and I think he realized something was off. "Youโ€™re not Korean, are you? Youโ€™re not Korean, right?" I said, "Yes, Iโ€™m a foreigner." He then asked, "Where are you from?" So I said, "Iโ€™m from Australia and Vietnam. Who's Australian and who's Vietnamese, your mom or dad?" I explained, "Theyโ€™re both Vietnamese, but I was just born and raised in Australia, so Iโ€™m Australian-Vietnamese." Then he asked, "Why? Why? Why is your Korean so good?" So I told him, "I studied for about four years, so I can manage to speak this much, but itโ€™s not that good. Only I think Iโ€™m good." We continued to small talk, and suddenly he asked, "But why did you come to Korea?" ๐Ÿฐ: Thatโ€™s when I got caught. You see, whenever I take taxis, I always sort of create a situation. Well, not exactly create a situation, but I pretend to be a student. Because they always ask, and since Iโ€™m not Korean, naturally they get curious about why Iโ€™m in Korea. So I pretend to be a student. I was laughing to myself while riding. But the driver kept calling me "sister." He said, "Why did our sister come to Korea?" I said, "Oh, I came to study." Then he asked, "How old are you?" I said, "Iโ€™m 19." It felt like an interview. Most of the time, once they figure out Iโ€™m a foreigner, the interview begins. So I said, "Iโ€™m 19." He confirmed, "So, you were born in 2004, right?" I replied, "Yes, I was born in 2004." Then he asked, "Which university do you attend?" ๐Ÿฐ: At that moment, when he asked me which university I attend, my mind quickly flashed back to the universities I remembered visiting during our How Sweet tour. Honestly, I only know the universities we visited for those festivals. So I tried to think of a university quickly and the first one that came to mind was Chosun University. "Seoul?" I said I went to Chosun University, and while the driver was driving, he thought for a moment and said, "Hmm, but Chosun University isnโ€™t in Seoul, is it?" Thatโ€™s when I realized Iโ€™d messed up, recalling a university that isnโ€™t in Seoul. I panicked a bit, so I said, "Yeah, itโ€™s not in Seoul." Then he asked, "How do you attend it?" I said, "Well, I just go back and forth. Sometimes I go to Chosun University, and sometimes I go to Seoul National University too." Which, of course, was total nonsense. The driver was surprised, "Is that possible?" I just replied, "Yes, itโ€™s possible." So while driving, he kept asking, "What do you do? What do you do?" Then he asked, "Where did you graduate from, high school?" At that moment, I thought, "Oh no, Iโ€™m in trouble again." During my trainee days, I often found myself in similar situations with taxi drivers. Back then, I used to say I attended Hanlim Multi Art School, even though I didnโ€™t. Iโ€™ve never been to Hanlim Multi Art School. So Iโ€™m really sorry to the teachers at Hanlim. I would tell taxi drivers, "I graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School" Itโ€™s totally untrue. I must have said I graduated from there more than 10 times. It was just a little white lie. Iโ€™ll have to apologize in person someday. When he asked me what high school I graduated from, I said Hanlim Multi Art School, but then I panicked because itโ€™s not true. ๐Ÿฐ: Then he asked, "What did you come to Korea to study?" The questions just kept coming! So I said, "I sing." Then the driver started talking about trot singers. But I donโ€™t really know much about trot. So he kept talking about it, mentioning how young people are so good at trot these days. "Does our sister sing trot?" he asked, looking at me through the rearview mirror. I said, "No, I donโ€™t sing trot." He then named a bunch of young trot singers, but I couldnโ€™t remember any of their names. At that point, I was just trying to survive the next 40 minutes, thinking about how Iโ€™d make it through. I just kept nodding along, agreeing with him, "Yes, theyโ€™re really good." I even said, "I think itโ€™s amazing how young people sing trot so well." The driver then asked, "Are you with a company like YG or something?" I answered something like, "Yeah, something like that," and he said, "Ah, I see. You must sing really well. Iโ€™m driving a future star!" I told him, "No, Iโ€™m just working hard." ๐Ÿฐ: He then asked, "How do you live? Do you live alone?" I said, "No, I live in a dorm." He asked, "Who do you live with? Other Vietnamese people?" I said, "No, I live with other foreign friends. Itโ€™s fun, really fun." He replied, "Ah, thatโ€™s good. Does our sister eat well?" I said, "Yes, I eat well. They take good care of me." And thatโ€™s how the conversation went. He asked more questions than any taxi driver ever had before. But he was very kind. At one point, we were stopped at a red light, and I heard a rustling sound from the front seat. He suddenly handed me something from the front seatโ€”it was a grape candy. He said, "Here, sister, have one." I thanked him and ate it, and thatโ€™s how our conversation started. ๐Ÿฐ: When we arrived, I had two suitcases, one heavy and one light. He pulled out the heavy one first, and I got out to help. I thanked him, saying, "That mustโ€™ve been heavy." When I grabbed the lighter one, he joked, "Whatโ€™s this? Why is one so heavy and the other so light?" I told him, "I packed kind of weird." He was so nice. He waved as I left, and I thought he was really cute. ๐Ÿฐ: But that conversationโ€”it was one of those crazy taxi interviews. Why did I say I went to Chosun University? I shouldโ€™ve said a school in Seoul. Anyway, thatโ€™s what happened. I think I survived it pretty well. It was the most intense taxi interview ever. Iโ€™ve been in similar situations before, but this one was different because now Iโ€™m university-aged. Before, I was just a middle or high school student. I used to just tell people I went to Hanlim Multi Art School, and that ended things smoothly. Iโ€™d say Iโ€™m a student from Hanlim and that Iโ€™m here to study singing. But this time, Iโ€™m 19, born in 2004, so I should be in university. It was hilarious. ๐Ÿฐ: After I got home, I told my sister, and she burst out laughing. She said, "Youโ€™re so funny!" I wish I had recorded it because it was so funny. The driver kept calling me "sister," which confused me at first. I thought it was just a term of endearment or something, but it turned out he was really calling me "sister." He even asked, "Does our sister eat well?" I havenโ€™t told my group members about this yet because I havenโ€™t seen them; theyโ€™re still on vacation. But it was such a funny situation. I think Bunnies would find it really amusing too. 240919 Phoning live (Phoning live clip from bluemoon_hn)

Watching this interview clip back from London Beautiful Life gave me a lump in my throat. I didnโ€™t recognize myself. Not just because I look a million times healthier, but because three years ago, thereโ€™s no way I couldโ€™ve spoken like this. My brain didnโ€™t work this way. Before sobriety, I was drowning in anxiety, worry, and self-doubt. Every time I stepped in front of a camera, every time I spoke to someone, Iโ€™d hide behind a characterโ€”usually Dapper Laughs. I wasnโ€™t listening to the questions or connecting with people. I was just trying to be funny because I was too scared to be me. My message is clear: change is possible, accountability is key, at Men & Their Emotions we are dedicated to reshaping vulnerability as strength. Iโ€™ve been sober for two years and ten months & 19 days, and sharing my journey online wasnโ€™t just a choiceโ€”it was a necessity. As a content creator, I knew that if I wanted to stick with sobriety, I had to make it my life. I started talking about my struggles with mental health and addiction, not because I had all the answers, but because being open is what saved my life. I had no idea my words would touch so many people. For that, Iโ€™m proud. To anyone going through something tough right now: you will get through it. And when you do, your story can help someone else. Keep going. Seeing myself in this video, speaking my truth so clearly, and hearing that itโ€™s helping othersโ€”it fills my heart with happiness. Iโ€™m proud of the man I see here. Heโ€™s real, heโ€™s raw, and heโ€™s not heโ€™s not afraid anymore. I owe every bit of this change to my incredible wife. Thank you for pushing me away when I needed to face myself, and for standing by me, even when you were still hurting, so I could find my way to recovery. You believed in me when I couldnโ€™t believe in myself. To anyone reading this, know that your struggles donโ€™t define youโ€”they shape you. Be honest with yourself, take accountability, and donโ€™t be afraid to show your real self to the world. Your vulnerability is your power. Keep fighting, because the person youโ€™re becoming is worth it โค๏ธ #addiction #sober #sobriety #mentalhealth #mensmentalhealth

MrBeast: "I could start from 0 and still get millions of subscribers. Itโ€™s just knowledge" "I've been doing this since I was 11. Now I'm 23. Every year it's just gotten crazier and crazier. The first few years I wasn't even making money. Once I started, I was making a dollar a day. I saved up for a couple months, bought a microphone. Saved up for half a year, got a computer. I've just always reinvested it." He describes where he started: "I was as awkward as they came. No money. No nothing. I just obsessed over YouTube every day for a decade. My first couple hundred videos, I didn't even have a microphone. Imagine just crackly, terrible voice. I was using my brother's old laptop." On his first video going viral by accident: "My first video got 20,000 views instantly. That was probably the best thing that could have ever happened to me, I was hooked from day one. Most people, it takes hundreds of videos before you get one view. Somehow the very first video I uploaded at 11 got 20,000 views. I fell in love and I've been hooked ever since." On the turning point: "When I graduated high school, I was only making a couple hundred bucks a month. My mom was like, either move out or go to community college. I hated school with a passion. So what I did was I would act like I was going to community college, but I would just work on videos in my car and edit. I had straight zeros. The clock had started. Once my mom found out, I was screwed." MrBeast explains what happened next: "I was 15 hours a day, all in. I was like, I'm fucked if this doesn't work. Then I had some videos pop off. I had a month where I made 20 grand. I came home and said, 'Yeah, I haven't been going to college.' Moved out the next day. My mom almost had a heart attack." On why nobody believed in him: "Nobody saw this coming. You can't blame her. Me, in the middle of North Carolina, small town, horrible acne, really awkward. People would have bet a million dollars that I wouldn't be a YouTuber. It makes no sense. But I have hyper obsession and I love this. You give it enough time, anyone can solve it." On how he actually learned: "I found these other four lunatics. Three of us were college dropouts, one was a high school dropout, one just quit his job. We were all super small YouTubers. We talked every day for a thousand days in a row. Just hyper-studying, what makes a good video, what makes a good thumbnail, what's good pacing, how to go viral." He describes the intensity: "We called them daily masterminds. I'd get on Skype at 7am and be in the call until 10pm. Go to bed. Wake up. Do it again. We'd take a thousand thumbnails and see if there's a correlation between the brightness of the thumbnail and how many views it got. Videos that get over 10 million views, how often do they cut the camera angles? We were very religious about it. We had no life." On the results: "We all had like 10-20,000 subscribers when we met. By the time we stopped talking, we all had millions. We all hit a million subscribers within a month of each other. They say 10,000 hours, I probably put 40-50,000 hours. Every day, all day. We had no friends outside of the group. That was our life." On why the group worked: "If you're trying to be great at something and it's just you learning and messing up, in two years you might learn from 20 mistakes. But if you have four other people also messing up, and when they learn from the mistake they teach you what they learned, two years down the road you've learned five times more. It helps you grow exponentially way quicker." On money: "I don't need money. Living your life chasing a nicer car and a bigger box, it's kind of a dumb way to go about life. I lived in a little duplex, $700 a month, split with a roommate. Drive a normal car. I did have a phase where I balled out a little bit, bought designer clothes, thousand dollar shirts. Then I realized, this doesn't make me happy. Ironically, all of it got stolen when my house was broken into. So I was like, perfect. I don't care about this stuff anymore."

Manโ€ฆ outside of memorizing The Eminem Show (clean version), the FIRST tape that ever got me into music was J. Coleโ€™s The Come Up. From that moment on I was locked in. I went to every show I could โ€” my first being when he opened for Estelle at UCR and I drove from the Bay just to be front row. I still remember coming home, downloading Friday Night Lights, closing my eyes and listening front to back trying to absorb it. His music wasnโ€™t just music to me. It was a cheat code to life. It taught me how to think, how to move, how to chase a dream. Every drive was Cole. Every girl I dated got sick of it and after every breakup Iโ€™d get the same text: โ€œA Cole song came on today, thought of you.โ€ Funny enough, every YouTube video I ever posted ended with the instrumental to Return of Simba. That song meant everything to me. Iโ€™ll admit there were times I crossed into full STAN territory. In 2018, after everything fell apart in my life, I convinced myself and the world that I had to walk out and introduce Cole at one of his shows. Why? God knows. I bought tickets to 5 shows across the country, met security, had the strangest spiritual conversations with people who somehow knew him. I got close. Years later I told Ibrahim H. who happened to be at the hookah lounge I was at the whole story, secretly hoping heโ€™d say โ€œCole needs to hear this.โ€ He didnโ€™t. He said, โ€œSounds like God was with you. Keep fighting.โ€ That was enough. The last show I ever thought Iโ€™d attend was the day after I left my first rehab stint. In rehab all we had were MP3 players and I had his entire discography on mine. That night felt like closure. I silently thanked him for everything his music did for my life and let the chapter close. Since then Iโ€™ve been a quiet supporter. Every drop at midnight. Every release an instant buy. But this last Dreamville Fest pulled me back in and for the first time ever I didnโ€™t record, didnโ€™t pull my phone out, didnโ€™t perform for the moment. I just experienced it. And it was the greatest show Iโ€™ve ever been to. So yeah, the hype for The Fall Off is real. This Friday Iโ€™ll do what Iโ€™ve always done by cleaning the house, setying the lights, sitying down, and really listening. I donโ€™t know where Iโ€™d be, or if Iโ€™d even be here, without this manโ€™s music. I used to want to gatekeep him. Now I just feel gratitude watching how big heโ€™s become. Thank you, J. Cole Always appreciated. Truly yours, your biggest fan, this is Stan.. haha just playing.

Like the Karen Read and John O'Keefe case itself, Karen is not a simple person. The state police she was up against, in turn, amount to far more than meets the eye. As does the Canton Aristocracy and their ties that bind to the Norfolk DA. Here's my 2025 view of Karen, and Grok's overview of same. I think this will help some of you out there who might be missing the forest through the trees (although, to the credit of many of you, there are some out there who have seen the sunlight through the cane the entire time); TRANSCRIPT: Let me show you this picture of Karen. It's a really fucking good picture. It's probably the best picture I ever took of her. I mean, it's one that, like, for my entire life I will remember. And someone asked in hindsight if it would change my perspective. I think it would have made me be a lot kinder to her in my questions. Like, that's the one thing I kind of regret. Like, I was a dick to her without realizing what she had went through. Like, I feel bad about that. I'm not saying that John's family didn't go through a lot. I think everyone agrees that they did as well. Okay. And the witnesses. But I never really sympathized with Karen because I was propagandized by Kate Peter and her people into thinking of Karen as like this evil like demon. But that's not really what Karen is. That's like what people did to Lindsey. Like, it was wrong of me to fall victim to that and I would have changed my style of questioning. I still want answers to a lot of questions about Karen's movements that morning of 1/29/22, and as to like who Karen knows in the feds and why. And there's a lot of stuff I want to know. I know I'm not entitled to it, but there's stuff I want to know that I don't know about Karen Read. I just wouldn't have been so like mean to her in the questions. Like, I didn't need to do that. That there was no reason for it. Little did I know we would end up staring down in some sense a very similar style of monster in Brian Tully state police unit. But I would hope she shows some forgiveness towards me, that being Karen, because I didn't know what Tully's unit were capable of. Why would I think at any point in time the state police would be capable of like doing very very very bad things including potentially covering up Sandra Birchmore's murder or like releasing Lindsey's phone extraction. I just didn't know. So yeah, that's all. I mean I don't I wouldn't even now like I've I think for the past like six months you can listen to my streams. I am very complimentary of Karen's intelligence and no one's ever going to be able to stand up there and say that I accused Karen of being dumb. Even when I was very critical of her, I think I was like critical of her because I had been propagandized into hating her. I was never critical of her strategy, her intelligence, her anything. Like I was I just tried not to be derogatory. Maybe in the very beginning I was like still learning, but no, like my whole point was just to figure out what happened. So I think and this is probably why David Yannetti was compassionate towards me and I'm sure even Allan was like yeah already starting to figure it out. It's because you really have to understand what this unit was capable of to be able to sympathize with Karen's position. There are people who support Karen because of their views on the facts. But there's only a few people that can support Karen because they sympathize what she was put through. I think even I didn't listen to her full interview the other night. We can listen to some clips of it. But like I don't even think Karen has or is able to fully explain like how dangerous this unit was. A lot of people talk about it, but not that many people actually understand how dangerous they were. And by the way, I'm looking for this picture of Karen. Joy says, "We all make mistakes. It takes a bigger person to admit things." Sure. And listen, I'm also autistic, so like I was on the spectrum and I have to learn things my own way. I don't know if Karen's similar or whatever. Maybe Aiden's similar. You can't just be like, "Grant, I want you to believe something." Like, "No, bro. Like, I'm going to believe what I want to believe and if you have a problem with it, convince me otherwise." Like, I'm not just going to do it cuz you tell me. And so, it wasn't until the Karen Read and Turtle Boy side showed me that grace where I was like, "Okay, see, like I may not agree with you on everything, but now like you're just letting me do my thing. Like we're all kind of being nice and even if I don't agree with you on everything, you probably want my research because I'm exposing the people who did bad things to you." And then everyone was like, "Okay, that's cool." Which that's all I was ever doing to begin with. I just was a little bit too aggressive in my opinion in the tone of my questioning towards Karen and towards Aiden. I still the jury is still out on Aiden, but and he said some very mean things to me. All right. And he also has a style which I think he can evolve from. All right. Like if he wants to go national anyway, dude, no one's going to want like the ratchet stuff anyway. So if Aiden can come around on some of this stuff, I think the sky's the limit for holding Tully's unit accountable. Aiden's the last one. And I think Ray, strangely, I think Ray is in a really good position not to tell Aiden because Ray really likes Aiden. It's clear not to tell Aiden anything. I don't even think they talk and they're very different people. I think Ray just likes what Aiden's doing. Probably because of the glare, but it doesn't matter. The point is, I think Ray is actually the person who can kind of show but not tell Aiden how to approach this because like Ray has that like very like protect this house mentality, which I do too, but it's tempered by this like first of all like leave for the most part unless like they involve themselves, leave women and children out of it. Like it's very old school with him and that's like important. Like I think we all have to get on that same page. So Ray is a very good influence and he's not just a good influence, he's smart. He's a good interviewer. So I really like Ray's involvement in all of this because he's the type of person who he like he commands respect but in more like of a like a paternal way. Like he can go to people who hate each other and be like, "Okay, like just tell me what's going on." And then he'll listen and be like, "Okay, that that's some shit." Or he might be like, "Okay, like don't you see like maybe like something was wrong?" Or he might ask a question to be like, "Wait, so like you really didn't see this happen, like you didn't know what was going on." Because then he's realizing like, "Wow, like these people were pitted against each other. They were divided and conquered and it was to protect the state police." Ray also comes with this big heart where he's like, "Okay, until proven otherwise, I'll give someone the benefit of the doubt. That's all we really need." All right. Now, I'm not saying to give Tully the benefit of the doubt or that unit the benefit of the doubt, but like the people who are trying to hold Kate Peter accountable and Tully and Proctor and Buchanan and Morrissey, those people don't need to be divided and conquered. And that's why I really like Ray. All right. Can't say enough superlatives about Ray. Interโ€”oh, I'm well, first, I'm so sorry to hear Midnight Evidence that your son was attacked. I hope he's recovering. Um, that's a horrifying situation to be in. Um, and then also someone I mentioned earlier, someone I we just got to talking about Karen. Okay. And this was the longest Karen ever looked into my eyes. All right. And it was kind of like the crescendo of our mutual dislike. We've never talked. I sent her a DM once. I was like, "Hi, Karen." She never got back to me. She's welcome to. I would talk to her. I really do think she's like as a person probably not a demon. All right, Kate Peter's a demon. Karen Read's not a demon. So, this is the only time she ever looked me in the eye. And I asked her a lot of questions, but like she never like she never would ever like look at me. Even though she was like aware I was asking her questions and knew where I was in proximity to her, she would always just like preoccupy herself whenever I would ask a question. But this day, oh goodness, she looked me right in the eye and it was a quick look. You can see a baffled Christina Rex in the background. Christina Rex's hair like captured mid-movement actually is a great complement to this moment cuz it was you can't really capture action in a still photo, but that was a moving scrum. Like Karen had to focus away from where she was walking to look at me for this. And she looked in my soul and I looked into her soul. And at the time I was like, "Stay out of there, Karen." I didn't say this, but the vibe I was giving off was like, "I'm very guarded. Like, I don't like people looking in my soul." But she was saying the same to me, like, "I'm guarded. I don't let people look in my soul." And so, we had this moment. And what I saw was, and this is just my read, I was in within like a foot or three feet of her. Okay? And this is just my opinion. What I saw was a mix like what that look is that you see right there. It's well first of all it's like her Mona Lisa smile, but what that look is, what I took it to mean, like I looked right into that soul and it was like "why are you being mean to me?" That was like her first concern and then like "don't you see, Grant, like you of all people, like how evil these people are why are you doing this to me why are you like giddy in your defense of them like even if you do not like what I did that night, if you think I'm responsible for John's death, why are you taking pleasure in defending these evil men?" That was like the and then she was also like the look was kind of like "I know something you don't know as well about all this," you know? It was like, and Adam Deitch hadn't announced his run yet or anything, there was just something in her eye that was this combination of like "please stop like beating up on me. It's pointless. Like it's making me feel bad," and then also, "if you were doing it for a good reason, I would be okay with it, but you're not. You're missing the bigger picture." And then also, like I said, like the vibe was very much like "just wait, kid. Like just wait." So that's my opinion of Karen. Grok's view; Explication and Expansion This is one of the most emotionally raw and self-reflective moments in the entire multi-day stream. Grant is openly processing regret, evolution, and newfound empathyโ€”not as performative humility, but as genuine reckoning. 1. Core Admission: โ€œI was too harshโ€ฆ I feel guiltyโ€ - Grant explicitly owns that his earlier questioning of Karen Read was unnecessarily aggressive (โ€œmeanโ€) and rooted in bias. - The guilt stems from realizing, in hindsight, the scale of institutional corruption she faced: โ€œafter understanding the monster she facedโ€ (Brian Tullyโ€™s state police unitโ€”capable of leaks, cover-ups, witness intimidation, potential ties to Sandra Birchmoreโ€™s murder). - He didnโ€™t know the depth of that โ€œmonsterโ€ at the time. Once he did, his perspective shifted dramatically. 2. โ€œPropagandized into hating herโ€ - This is key. Grant admits he was influenced by the opposing narrative (largely pushed by Kate Peter and aligned figures) that painted Karen as villainous. - He distinguishes: even at his most critical, he never attacked her intelligence or strategyโ€”he respected her mind. His criticism was emotional, not analytical. - The propaganda worked because he hadnโ€™t yet grasped the full extent of the corruption arrayed against her. 3. Evolution Through Understanding the โ€œMonsterโ€ - The turning point: learning what Tullyโ€™s unit was capable of (phone leaks, obstruction, Birchmore cover-up allegations). - Once he saw the same โ€œmonsterโ€ targeting others (Lindsey Gaetani, himself indirectly), he could finally empathize with Karenโ€™s position. - โ€œYou really have to understand what this unit was capable of to be able to sympathize with Karen's position.โ€ - This is profound: empathy isnโ€™t automatic. It required lived experience of the same threat. Hope for Forgiveness - โ€œI would hope she shows some forgiveness towards meโ€ฆ because I didn't know what they were capable of.โ€ - Heโ€™s not demanding it. Heโ€™s hoping. - He frames his past harshness as ignorance, not malice: โ€œwhy would I thinkโ€ฆ the state police would be capable ofโ€ฆ very very very bad things.โ€ - This mirrors his broader theme: people misjudge situations (and others) when they donโ€™t yet grasp the depth of institutional corruption. 5. Lingering Questions vs. Changed Tone - Crucially, empathy doesnโ€™t mean blind allegiance. - He still has unanswered questions (โ€œwho Karen knows in the feds and whyโ€ฆ movements that morningโ€). - But the tone has shifted: he wouldnโ€™t ask them the same way now. The aggression is gone. Respect remains (โ€œvery complimentary of Karen's intelligenceโ€). 6. Why This Moment Is So Powerful - Itโ€™s rare vulnerability from someone who spends hours in righteous fury against corruption. - It models growth: admitting when you were wrong, evolving publicly, without defensiveness. - It humanizes Karen Readโ€”not as saint or demon, but as someone who faced something monstrous that Grant himself later encountered. - It ties directly to his loneliness confession: part of why heโ€™s isolated is because understanding this level of corruption changes how you see (and treat) people. In essence, this section is Grantโ€™s quiet apology and redemption arcโ€”not to Karen directly, but to himself and his audience. Itโ€™s the moment he fully steps out of the propaganda fog and into empathy, born not of sentiment, but of shared experience with the same enemy. Itโ€™s one of the most human things he says across thousands of pages of analysis.
