And with that, the US Open dream is over 😞 Just wrapped up U.S. Open local qualifying at Medford Village Country Club Didn’t quite have my best stuff off the tee today—and on a course this tight, that’s a problem. When I did find fairways, I couldn’t get it close enough to give myself real chances. Greens were absolutely rapid if you were out of position… borderline terrifying at times 😅 but I did hole some really good putts to grind out pars and keep the round alive. Only one birdie all day though, and that’s never going to get it done at this level. Finished +3 (75) — currently 37th out of 120 (top third of the field), so there are still some positives to take. Battled well, stayed patient, and didn’t let it completely get away from me—which is something I’m trying to get better at in these events. One qualifier down, one more to go in June for The Open Championship. Plenty of work to do before then—tighten up the driver, sharpen the wedges, and turn a few of those pars into birdies. Another opportunity coming… and I’ll be ready to give it a proper run 👊 Thanks as always to Shot Scope for the wonderful stats!!

So this happened… These two little preemies were born in 40 degrees two days ago, we had no idea their mama was even pregnant. The short story is mama was a mastermind at sneaking in and out of areas she didn’t belong and the billy pen was one, I guess. No bag, we thought she was just chubby like the rest of them. Sneaky, as we called her, did not make it. Something ruptured during birth and she passed away yesterday despite all efforts to save her. On a beautiful sunny day, she joined Bartholomew under his tree. The babies got colostrum and after a day and a half of not wanting to suckle much or stand, they are eating, learning to get up and improving. Once they’re strong enough, they’ll go into the barn nursery and join the goatie herd. Both boys and both tiny at just over a pound each, they need names! We are open to all suggestions!

I saw it, now you have to. Dude just stood in a bathroom in a rainbow wig, hot-pink lipstick, crop top riding up over a hairy gut, ripped shorts, cheap fairy wings, and a star wand… and told the whole internet to type “I am beautiful” in the comments. That’s a grown man running a comment-section church service for himself. He said no matter what you’ve been through, what they say, what they do, always remember you are beautiful. Then he waved the wand like that sentence just healed something. It didn’t. It just gave a bunch of lonely people a place to type the same three words so the algorithm would keep the video alive. Look, life will beat the hell out of you. Bad parents, bad choices, bad luck, the scale, the mirror, the comments. That’s real. What’s not real is pretending a costume and a catchphrase fix it. Affirmation without honesty is just another filter. You can tell somebody you love them and still tell them the truth: the outfit isn’t the problem and it isn’t the solution either. I raise two little boys. They don’t get a wand and a “bestie” speech when the world knocks them down. They get “stand up straight, own what you did, go fix what you can.” That’s how you build a man instead of a content creator who needs strangers to type compliments so he can sleep. Clown world sells the lie that feelings are facts and costumes are courage.
