The United Nations is an intergovernmental body of morally bankrupt bureaucrats who have anointed themselves as the leading scientific authority on all matters, including environmental issues. Don't take my word for it, here it is straight from the horse's mouth, โ€ โ€” Melissa Fleming, UN Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications (WEF, 2022) The UN is funded by its members; the largest financer of which is the United States. World leaders apportion tax dollars each year to bankroll this bureaucratic shit can. Since UN bureaucrats are taxpayer-funded, they are beneficiaries of government. So, it's no surprise at all that they favor Big Government and a progressive / left-wing agenda to redistribute wealth as a means to benefit themselves financially. They are envious of rich CEOs of energy companies who make the world go round. These bureaucrats are big mad because they were not skilled enough to find work in the private sector and build up wealth. They are just jealous that they do not have as much money as those they envy do. So, they want to kill innovation and economic growth by taking their money away by regulating the heII out of industry and energy. The easiest way to achieve this is to vilify industrial combustion byproducts such as COโ‚‚. If they can task scientists with finding evidence of ๐‘‘๐‘Ž๐‘›๐‘”๐‘’๐‘Ÿ๐‘œ๐‘ข๐‘  COโ‚‚-driven global warming, then that gives them a crutch to build the case to regulate emissions by pressuring elected officials to levy taxes on carbon and support laws to issue hefty fines on oil and gas companies for alleged damages caused by โ€œclimate-fueledโ€ extreme weather until they go bankrupt for noncompliance with environmental regulatory constraints. The UN partnering with governments and Big Tech to censor opposition to their orthodoxy is not because they care about upholding scientific integrity. They openly admit that their goal is to encourage activism and to punish those who act to โ€œderail climate action,โ€ which is really smoke and mirrors for redistribution of wealth and authoritarian governance.

Bill Cowher said, "Get comfortable being uncomfortable...Because that's the only way you could be as good as you can be." "I pushed them to be as good as they can be, but it doesn't mean I don't care about you as a person." High standards aren't cruel, they're a sign that you care. It means pushing people beyond their comfort zone and showing genuine care for people. Great leaders master the balance of high standards and compassion. 1. You challenge people to be their best, not just do their best - It means you encourage your team to stretch beyond their comfort zones. You coach character and growth. Growth happens when get comfortable being uncomfortable. You're no longer satisfied with "good enough" because you believe in people and their potential. 2. You give honest feedback with genuine care - It means you deliver feedback with respect and a focus on growth. Honest feedback builds trust. By communication with compassion, you ensure feedback is received as a tool for improvement, not as an attack. 3. You hold people accountable with support - It means you expect people to meet standards and give them the tools they need to succeed. Accountability without support feels like criticism without direction and support without accountability feels hollow. Ensure people have the coaching, encouragement, and process to do what they need. 4. You lead through example - It means you model the standards that you expect from others. People follow leaders who live their values and they see what you do, not what you say. Take the time to show those values consistently whether it's communication, accountability, or work ethic. 5. You build trust with consistency - It means people know what to expect from you no matter the outcome. Inconsistency breeds uncertainty. Trust grows when people they can count on you and your leadership. It becomes a representation of character and integrity. Bottom Line: Leading with high standards and compassion isnโ€™t easy because it requires intentionality, self-awareness, and a deep commitment to othersโ€™ growth. - - - The video comes from Bill Cowher's interview with Trey Wingo (trey wingo) on Half-Forgotten History. A great listen if you want to hear more on Bill's story!

Hall of Fame San Antonio Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich on why winning is not really about plays. It is about PEOPLE: Relationships are the foundation of every winning culture. ๐Ÿงฑ Because a player who feels truly seen, known and valued will go further than one who simply feels coached. ๐Ÿ“ก And you have to be yourself because players can sense what is real and what is fake. You cannot build a genuine relationship with someone unless they see the real you and believe that the real you genuinely cares about them. The temptation for every coach is to tell players what they want to hear so they will like you, rather than telling them what they need to hear because you are afraid they might not. The best coaches are willing to risk being disliked in the moment to help a player become better in the future. They do not lead for approval. They lead from a place of deep care. โค๏ธ They are willing to put their reputation at risk, have uncomfortable conversations and reject the label of a โ€œplayersโ€™ coachโ€ if that is what it takes to get the best out of the people they are responsible for leading. Sports may be a competitive entertainment business, but every business will always come down to the people you are building with. Worry less about the play you are running and more about your true purpose as a leader: ๐Ÿซ— Pouring into the people entrusted to you.

We are Kaizer Chiefs!โค๏ธโœŒ๐Ÿพ In just 4 months, coach Nasreddine Nabi has changed the mentality of our players. There is still a long way to go but we have made positive progress towards our goals: โ–ช๏ธŽ They don't settle for anything less than total domination! โ–ช๏ธŽ They use unbearable speed in attack, a clear Nabi attacking blueprint๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ โ–ช๏ธŽ Once we find spaces to attack, our movement and passes are very quick. โ–ช๏ธŽ The decision-making on the ball is getting better, and our structure is getting better every game. โ–ช๏ธŽ They create a lot of chances every game! โ–ช๏ธŽ They fight as a team! We are very flexible tactically. There is positive energy around the team. The players are regaining their confidence! Kaizer Chiefs supporters, it's now on us to step up and support the team without forcing hate towards any player in the team. โ–ช๏ธŽ Look at how Nabi and his technical team show love, support, and patience with our players โ–ช๏ธŽ Look at how that is helping these guys never give up on us and our club. Everyone wants to do well here, and we have enough quality to do well this season. Quality is measured by performance, and that's what we are getting. It can only get better when upgrades are brought in. โ–ช๏ธŽ No player is guaranteed a place in the team, that on its own should tell us the coach knows what he's doing when he picks his 11. โ–ช๏ธŽ Let's keep rallying behind the team. We are Kaizer Chiefs!๐Ÿซก๐Ÿซก

A manager trying to rouse his playersโ€ฆ Cortical arousalโ€ฆa call for mental activation and physical intensityโ€ฆ Mikel Arteta using words, sentences, phrases enveloped in tone, volume, rhythm, pauseโ€ฆtrying to tap into memory, striving to evoke pain and pleasure, cautioning threat while willing reward. Motivation - to move towards and to move away from. Mental activationโ€ฆ The challenge for any coach is to recognise the cause of performance lapse. Do my players need to rise in intensity or do I need to cool the nervous system? Might a rise be true for one and a drop be true for another? Should this come from me or should this come from my players? Questionsโ€ฆquestions! For meโ€ฆpre-planned: -individual mental frameworks -a team mental framework Then time for: -players to group together to speak -the coach to assert the tactical plan enveloped in those mental frameworks -mini individual conversations An all-in feelโ€ฆan integrated approach. Cortical arousal, narrative, and meaning in competitive sport are strange things. One player is best served in a state of physical dominance while another is best suited to a playful state akin to playing mateโ€™s football. Player one: dominant, relentless, strong Player two: playful, focused, free No hard, fast rules other than this - each and every player has their ideal mind and body state that helps them to anticipate, make decisions, co-ordinate their body, and execute at an appropriate physical intensity. And that state must be found and maintained in each and every game. I love Mikel Artetaโ€™s passion. I love his energy and his vibrancy. I also love the complexity of the human. With 11, 13, 15, 18 plauers all gawping at you, hanging on every word you sayโ€ฆyou never quite know whether the content or the delivery is suited to everyone in the roomโ€ฆ โ€ฆyou never quite knowโ€ฆ And thatโ€™s what makes sports coaching so much fun and so intriguing. That no matter who you are and no matter what level you coach atโ€ฆcoaching is a decision-making process where even the very best and even the very famous are making a best guess most of the time. A best guess most of the timeโ€ฆ
