3D $ANIME ? Using 3D in anime or a complete series in 3D style, how does this affect the anime industry? Probably the most hated anime after which people hated 3D in anime was Berserk in 2016, it was really terrible, but 3D in anime is no longer what it was in 2010-20. Let's look at the pros and cons of 3D in anime and what series can be called good 3D anime Pros of 3D Animation: 🟢Dynamic camera angles & smooth motion 🟢Saves time & production costs 🟢Consistent character proportions Cons of 3D Animation: 🔴Can look stiff or "plastic" 🔴Limited facial expressions 🔴Often disliked by traditional anime fans Top 3D $ANIME series in my opinion: 🔵Houseki no Kuni – stunning visuals & fluid animation 🔵Dorohedoro – dark, gritty style perfectly fits CGI 🔵Beastars – expressive character animation 🔵Trigun: Stampede – cinematic action & high-quality CGI The best studio that combines 2D and 3D well is, I think, Ufotable Ufotable blends 2D & 3D seamlessly: 🟡3D backgrounds + 2D character animation 🟡Anime-style shading makes 3D look hand-drawn 🟡Frame-by-frame touch-ups for smooth motion 🟡Mixing 2D effects (fire, water) with 3D for impact Example: "Demon Slayer" – epic battle scenes like Tanjiro’s Water Breathing, using 3D camera movement while preserving 2D aesthetics. Which 3D $ANIME impressed you the most?

Visual Preset #01 Ink-Brush Cinematic 3D: A high-end cinematic 3D style where expressive ink-brush effects become the primary visual language for fast-paced anime action. Lately I've noticed that I've been experimenting with different visual presets across my videos and I'd like to explore that direction even further. Going forward, I'll be sharing some of these style experiments. The video below was generated using only a character sheet, a single-line scene description and the visual preset shown below. Created with Seedance 2.0 on Try ArtCraft Seedance 2.0 Prompt: A mesmerizing display of @[character]'s masterful swordsmanship. High-end cinematic 3D realism fused with expressive ink-brush action. High-sakuga anime choreography, sweeping sumi-e brush strokes, flowing ink splashes, dynamic calligraphic energy and graphic black ink trails define every movement. Extreme perspective, dramatic foreshortening, cinematic tracking shots, volumetric lighting, heavy atmospheric haze and explosive ink bursts replace conventional visual effects, while realistic materials and feature-film rendering preserve depth, weight and scale.

Created with seedance 2.0 on Yapper by using the prompt: Create a 15-second ultra-smooth anime-style gameplay cinematic inspired by a futuristic Japanese city exploration game. A young anime girl character with white/silver hair, wearing a stylish black-and-white futuristic outfit with short skirt, thigh-high socks, and combat-style shoes, is running and climbing across red rooftop houses in a dense modern Tokyo-inspired city. Environment: Bright sunny daytime, blue sky with soft clouds, realistic anime lighting, modern skyscrapers in background, cherry blossom trees near houses, urban Japanese neighborhood mixed with futuristic city towers. Rooftops have realistic red metal textures with sunlight reflections. Character movement: Fast agile parkour movement across rooftops. Smooth running → jump → wall climb → rooftop landing. Natural anime body physics, cloth movement, hair bounce, accurate foot placement. Movement should feel like real gameplay captured live from a AAA anime open-world action game. Camera style: Third-person gameplay camera positioned slightly behind character. Dynamic camera follow with slight handheld motion. Smooth tracking movement. Minor motion blur during jumps. Game HUD/UI visible on screen like a real anime action RPG. Mini-map top left, action buttons on right side, health/stamina bar bottom center. Sequence: 0–4s Character runs across rooftop while camera follows behind smoothly. 4–8s She jumps between rooftops with cinematic slow-motion mid-air moment. 8–12s Character grabs edge of higher rooftop and climbs upward naturally. 12–15s Wide gameplay shot showing futuristic city skyline behind her while she stops briefly on rooftop edge. Wind moves hair and clothes naturally. Style & Quality: Ultra detailed anime rendering, high-end cel shading mixed with realistic lighting, smooth gameplay animation, modern gacha game aesthetic, polished textures, soft bloom, sharp shadows, immersive open-world atmosphere, 60fps feeling, cinematic gameplay trailer quality. Negative Prompt: low quality, broken anatomy, floating body, extra limbs, blurry textures, bad hands, static camera, unrealistic movement, low fps, distorted face, glitch effects, ugly lighting, oversaturated colors, missing UI, stiff animation.

Seedance 2.0 - Cinematic Summoning VFX Prompt This prompt generates a multi-cut VFX showcase with a clear progression. It’s designed for realistic 3D with grounded physics, natural character motion and readable, production-style VFX. You don’t need to define the summon, but you can specify what is being summoned if you want control. If you leave it open, the model decides based on the character sheet. You can find gpt image 2 character sheet prompt in the quoted post. Also, this isn’t limited to summoning. You can reuse the same VFX structure for anything, just swap the effect logic. Just change the parts about summoning. Prompt in the replies 👇

Instead of relying on prompts alone, you can plan and previsualize complex cinematic scenes in 3D, then use those references to guide video generation with Seedance 2.5. 🎥 Total Camera Control: Set up exact angles, FOV, and precise camera moves. 👥Character & Scene Blocking: Position character models, adjust postures, and place 150+ props in 3D space to solve multi-person positioning and spatial continuity. ⏱️Action Timeline: Sequence character movements and actions frame-by-frame using keyframes. No physical setups, green screens, or heavy production crews required—just complete creative control from concept to scene. PowerPoint, Word, and Excel just got Grok agents in their sidebars. A useful place to put an AI with internet access, 𝕏 data, image generation, diagrams, app connections, and MCP servers. One prompt can become a deck. One prompt can become a doc. One prompt can become a sheet. The sidebar went from “tiny menu nobody opens” to “please build my whole thing.” Grok xAI / Writer: Annette, Designer: Janné

A little kite, a little adventure, and lots of happy moments. Sometimes the simplest days make the sweetest memories. Created on seedance 2.0 Prompt: Create a cute cinematic 14-second 2D anime-style video featuring two completely new child characters in a sunny park: a girl with long dark-brown hair, expressive brown eyes, a pink dress, white socks and pink shoes, and a boy with messy black hair, dark eyes, a blue hoodie, black shorts and white sneakers. Keep their new faces, hairstyles, outfits and proportions consistent. They happily fly a bright orange-red kite through the colorful park until a strong breeze sends it into a tall tree. The boy uses a fallen branch to free the kite while the girl helps, and they catch it together with happy smiles before running through the park and flying it again in warm golden sunlight. Use beautiful Japanese anime-inspired 2D animation, clean line art, expressive eyes, soft cel shading, vibrant colors, detailed backgrounds, smooth movement, cinematic lighting and natural wind effects. No face changes, character redesign, extra characters, duplicates, distorted faces or hands, flickering, photorealism, 3D style, text, logo or watermark. smooth cinematic anime animation.
