🇮🇷🇮🇳 Iran let 2 Indian ships carrying cooking gas sail the Strait of Hormuz, even though most traffic is halted. Iran's navy boss bragged about it, saying Delhi also freed some of their own oil tankers that India had grabbed last month. India is dealing with its worst gas shortage in years, forcing it to cut supplies to factories to keep homes cooking. And 20 Indian ships are still trapped near the strait. GEN-Z OF KASHMIRI MUSLIMS & PAKISTAN'S MISERABLE LOSS AGAINST INDIA IN T-20 WORLD CUP: Social media of India's Kashmir Valley is full of comic short videos & reels, wherein Gen-Z of Kashmiri Muslims, who have come of age after 2019 are mocking Pakistani cricket team for their consistent miserable and pathetic performance against India in international cricket cups. NOT ONLY THIS, but most importantly they are expressing their open love and support for Indian cricket team and Indian cricket players. The attached video is that of a very popular Kashmiri Muslim Vlogger, who goes by the name "the Madhan". The video is in Koshur (Kashmiri) language, wherein he is mocking Pakistani cricket team on its loss against India in T-20 WORLD CUP qualifying match held a few days back in R. Premadasa stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He even spits on the Pakistani cricket team and curses it throughout the comic video. But, most importantly, he mentions in Koshur language in this video that, we (Kashmiri Muslims) shouldn't care about the Pakistani team as we have our beloved Indian cricket team. It is important to add that GEN Z of Kashmiri Muslims, who have grown up in post 2019 Kashmir by and large do not think like their elder brothers & sisters (Burhan Wani generation) or their father & grand father’s generation of Kashmiri Muslims ( Kashmirs aged 50 and above). My father’s and grandfather’s generation of Kashmiris had created a self styled utopian image of Pakistan as a "pure Islamic" country full of affluence, where streets were made of gold and rivers of honey were flowing. My father's and grandfather’s generation dehumanized India as a "lowly" country of Hindu infidels. A lot of them still carry this extreme Hinduphobic mindset. This mindset brainwashed an entire generation of Kashmiri Muslims in supporting Pakistan in cricket matches, not out of sportsman spirit but for shared religious affiliation and hatred for Hindu community. ALL OF THAT CAREFULLY CRAFTED NARRATIVE HAS COLLAPSED IN POST 2019 KASHMIR. The Internet has exposed GEN-Z ( and even older generation of Kashmiri Muslims) of Indian Kashmiri Muslims to pathetic social, economic and political conditions of Pakistan. GEN-Z of Indian Kashmiri Muslims see the world's largest slum - Orangi Town located in Karachi city. GEN-Z of Indian Kashmiri Muslims also witness hyperinflation plaguing all parts of Pakistan, where people including those in Pakistan Occupied Gilgit and Baltistan and Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir are humiliated by having to stand in long queues for subsidised wheat flour. GEN-Z of Indian Kashmiri Muslims is also seeing the miserable plight of the Baloch, Pashtuns and Shias in Pakistan as well as total deprivation of constitutional rights to people of Pakistan Occupied Gilgit and Baltistan and Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. GEN-Z of Indian Kashmiri Muslims are also seeing the banana republic politics of Pakistan that is run by much hated Pakistani Army, which didn't allow former Prime Minister of Pakistan- Imran Khan to come to power in the last elections and instead, its idiotic head - Asim Munir imposed "selected" and extremely hated jokers like Shehbaz Shariff, Bilawal Bhutto & Asif Zardari, once again on the people of Pakistan. Since Virat Kohli has announced his retirement from T20is, here something which I had written something for him few months back:(attaching an edit made by Amit Dubey which I found these lyrics fit aptly on Virat) March 2, 2008 This day holds great significance for Indian cricket because, on one hand, India defeated Australia in their own backyard in the first final of the CB series, and at the same time, nearly 6000 kilometers away, India's young brigade had won the Under-19 World Cup. After the World Cup victory, when this team returned to Bangalore from Kuala Lumpur, BCCI gave a grand welcome to the Under-19 team, and Kumble and Dravid were also present there. Dravid congratulated all the young players and imparted some wisdom. He said, "We are proud of you, but I want you to remember that from the Under-19 team that won the World Cup in 2000, only one member was part of the Indian team that won the CB Series." "What you have achieved is not everything, and your goal should be to win the World Cup one day." The young captain of that Under-19 team was listening carefully , and just three years later, he was part of the ODI World Cup-winning team. But the world had yet to witness the prowess of Kohli - the batter in a World Cup... By the next World Cup, Kohli had established himself among the World's best batsmen, but as in life, achieving everything in cricket is not easy. Kohli and the Indian team ended their 2015 World Cup campaign in disappointment. After becoming a regular part of the Indian team, 2015 was the first year when Kohli scored runs at an average of less than 40! Soon after, Kohli was given the responsibility of captaincy, which brought out a new brilliance in his batting. By the next World Cup, Kohli had scored 18 centuries & more than 4000 runs in ODIs at an average of 85 in just three years... Once again, India entered the 2019 World Cup as favorites and justified this tag, entering the semifinals as table toppers. But like in 2015, both Kohli & the Indian team were left with disappointment once again. Whereas the defeat in 2015 had shown us a new level of Kohli, after the loss in 2019, much had changed. In the meantime, there was COVID, a lack of regular games, a century drought, captaincy controversies, and numerous challenges, and another World Cup had arrived... The batsman who had scored more than 11,000 runs and 42 centuries between the 2011 World Cup and the 2023 World Cup (where no one else had even scored 10,000 runs or 30 centuries in ODIs)... I'm not even talking about Tests and T20Is where Kohli has set countless records. Despite all this, the expectation of "Doing even better" from fans and Kohli himself is the true mark of Virat's success. This "excellence" has always defined Virat, which is why a boy from West Delhi, along with Basu Shanker, trained himself like Olympic athletes and influenced not just fellow cricketers but the entire nation's fitness culture. Kohli's competition has never been with any cricketer, but with himself. Nonetheless, this World Cup was special too. Like in 2011, this World Cup was about playing and winning in front of his own people, and it must have reminded Kohli of Dravid's words once again: "What you have achieved is not everything." From winning the first match of this World Cup when India was 2/3 to sealing the victory, to exorcising the ghosts of 5/3 against the Kiwis in the semifinals with a 397/4, and breaking two long-standing records of his idol in front of him, only to get the biggest heartbreak of his career in the final against Australia... Such losses can break your mental toughness & especially in India where experts judges you even on the basis of franchise leagues,Virat too found himself again " evolving himself" in a format which he had already mastered... He came into this T20 World Cup with a new role & responsibility for the Team which supported by the Captain & Coach... He couldn't performed as per his fans expectations but you can see that willingness to prove that I can change myself with the demand of modern T20 even at final stage of my career... Virat is not just a name but a symbol that signifies: if there is truth in your dreams & strength in your resolve, everything is possible...
