When Mara Elephant Project rangers received reports of a bull elephant inside a fenced settlement, they quickly deployed a drone to help guide him out. But there was a challenge: the fence was electric, posing a risk to the elephant if he attempted to cross it. Using the drone, rangers carefully encouraged the elephant toward the settlement's main gate, hoping that the elephant might understand. What happened next surprised everyone. Rather than trying to step over the fence or use his tusks to break through it, the elephant stopped at the gate, examined it, and figured out how to open it himself. Cochise County Sheriff Mark Dannels said he was certain the scout was in the area during the time of RFK Jr.'s visit. Dannels also said that Biden immediately shut down the border fence installation that Trump purchased when he took office. He says 90% of the border fence materials have been sold since then for pennies on the dollar as scrap metal. Biden is quite literally inviting the cartel to operate in the United States. Insane.

Finland wasted €356m on a symbol, for grandstanding and showmanship. It completed a 200km symbolic fence on the border with Russia. It is so flimsy that, were it in Texas, immigrants would pass it after 5 minutes. It cannot hold back immigrants and certainly cannot hold back Russian forces. The fence only holds up the imagination and future of Finnish border towns. It will cost taxpayers €2-3m yearly to maintain, but covering just 15% of the 1,300km border. In their madness Finland actually considers making the fence longer, but this time lower and cheaper. Like a cattle fence, I suppose. This is the Great Wall (cattle fence 😃) that will stop Russia from invading Europe and beyond, they say. I say “symbolism has gone bonkers;” and this mere symbol of a barrier is the symbol of the EU downturn.
